To relate that to improvement instead, rather than staring at your own belly button and drawing the 160th heart pupil or flesh fang you should focus on appealing shapes and such that take the heavy lifting away from your favorite details, just draw other things even if they look like garbage and develop intuition. Right now those details exist close to the whole of your art's value rather than as details. You seem aware enough to realize you've drawn the same exact head, the same body construction all with the same haircut eyes and expression. This looks to me like you've become too caught up in defending your style and it's caused you arrested development. This is coming from a place of contempt for you and your art. Even so bla bla bla

I tried copying this one a few weeks ago but I wasn't getting it intuitively at all so I stopped, I think those gray outlines are a good idea and I'll use them when I try again. Maybe with a different reference, this is the only picture I could find for a grid of this size but it's not helpful that only shows the part of the cube you can see
