And if you're going to work on the painting for a while, make sure to allow those to dry adequately after each session.Your example here looks like it's laid on quite thick. Which isn't bad per se, just be mindful that if you do something like impasto right away, you should make it a quick painting, because that stuff will be curing for quite a while.
