do you consider these 1st world countries?
>>196466702Czechia, Estonia and Slovenia yes. Maybe the others too idk.
>>196466702Only Czechia and Slovenia.
>>196466702Not yet, but not far from there either
>>196466702Imagine being from Romania and your only significant contributions to the collective culture are Andrew Tate and Dracula.
>>196466743>>196466746Nah my guys it's either all of them or none of them, pick one. There's not much difference between them on the ground.
>>196466784why are you so mad muhammed?
>>196466702yes to all, as well as Poland
>>196466818Latvia and Lithuania are most definitely your typical "eastern european shithole" type, especially when in comparison to Sweden or Germoney. I don't know about Slovakia, Croatia or Estonia, but Czechia and Slovenia are objectively a level above those countries.
>>196466843In 5 minutes I will not be mad and you're still gonna be Romanian
Last country that turned firstie was south korea, these countries are still waiting moment, south korea has lot of exported brands and culture. Former eastern euro commies arent there yet, czechia, estonia and croatia has some of those firstie features already with actual industry and exports but gdp per capita is still under 30k€, which i wouldnt count as first world level but they are close.
>>196466702They're better off than Portugal, South Italy and much of Britain or Spain. If your definition of what the first world constitutes isn't stupid narrow or dates from the cold war in which case Finland and Eastern Germany aren't first world either, then yes. You have to count them in.
>>196466943Finland was more like Austria during coldwar, east germany was actual socialist commie state and thats exactly the reason why finland is first world now, ddr is only exception how they escaped that eastern euro stigma later because west germany pumped so much money there after unification.
>>196466881There's literally no difference between Latvia/Lithuania and Estonia in terms of "eastern european shithole" feel. There are huge parts that give the feel and then there are modernized parts. In each country. >Estonia has slightly higher wages>Latvia has the best capital>Lithuania has the best roads That's basically it Czechia is a level above only in terms of real industry. Slovenia not so much. The feel on the ground is the same but slightly warmer all year long so they might feel less shithole-y.
>>196466702I wish we were 3rd world like Switzerland, tbeh.
>>196466943>better of than britain and spainyeah let's not exaggerate
>>196466702The B*lts are neither 1st world nor white. Wannabe Europeans with nothing to show for it. I have more respect for the tribesmen of Africa.
>>196467003I'm also going off what I have seen (since I have travelled to Czechia before) and stories I heard from people living in the Baltics. Social life in Latvia and Lithuania is worse than Czechia and Slovenia, from what I know, same applies to Estonia but they seem slightly more well off than the rest of the Baltics. Also, doesn't Croatia still have some economic problems due to the Yugoslav wars to this day?
>>196467033You sound extremely jelly for their success, i mean i would also be if i see them to became prosperous western aligned and my own country goes to shit.
>>196467073I mean that's nitpicking. None of them are particularly rich and any HCOL city in the US of A is richer than almost any of the EU countries you imagine when you hear 1st world so what is 1st world really? The differences between OP cunts are marginal. Any capable man can build a life in any of those countries, there's no war, famine, or communism.
>>196467437>Any capable man can build a life in any of those countries, there's no war, famine, or communism. This is good point that people forget, it doesnt matter anymore which developed nation you live, opportunities to build meaningful life under rule of law and capitalism has made all of these places pretty much equal. You can build nice life for yourself in Romania now that used to be dictatorship less than 40 years ago, now its capitalist and free like america or sweden.
>>196467176What is there to be jealous of? There is literally nothing going on in those three countries. Just recently I visited a popular Estonian news website and they're still seething about the USSR, which fell more than 30 years ago. All those years and they're still coping about us. I have nothing but pity towards them.
>>196466901Kek
>>196468202>What is there to be jealous of?Just going deeper with that denial and jealousy, by all means baltics are wealthier and more developed than russia where human rights are respected and theres hope for even better tomorrow. Russia is just dictatorship at this point, only getting even worse. Your country is literally at war sending young men to die for nothing.
That salary gap is even bigger now, baltics have already much higher minimum wages than average wage is in russia.
>>196468399in romania its 600 wtf poorfags
>>196468442Those are numbers from 8 years ago.
>>196468399Turkmenistan STRONK
>>196466702Yes: Estonia, Czechia, SloveniaNo: Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Croatia
>>196468442Probably old data, it's 708€ after tax, and you can't legally be paid min wage for anything that basically isn't digging ditches or moping floors.
>>196468442Thats old, its even higher than in romania now. In russia good salary is 500€ and most people will never earn that much, thats how much wealthier baltics already are than russians when minimun wage is higher than upper middle class earns in russia.
>>196466702Secondies like us
>>196466702What are those nigga lmao who the fuck are they
>Minimum Wage Updated in Russia from 01 January 2024 - January 01, 2024. The minimum wages have been revised in Russia with effect from 01 January 2024. The minimum wages for all regions and territories have also been revised.1 Jan 2024Minimum wage in russia got lifted and is now 195€.
>>196467027Czech republic and slovenia passed spain in gdp per capita numbers last year or this year. you can check on eurostat or other offices compiling national accounts data. But more accurate data for national accounts come a year or two after, so it's preliminary, but i dont doubt it.
>>196468560why do certain countries not have minimum wages? I never understood that. Does sweden do that to exploit their sandniggers? What about austria and denmark and italy?
>>196468560What? Firstoids really have 2k yuro minimum wage? That's insane. In a good way, of course. You literally cannot suffer in the west.
>>196468442No one really lives on minimal salary alone
>>196469017They believe it makes employers offer the minimum for shit jobs. People who do shit jobs aren't usually in a position to negotiate salary so they just accept the minimum wage.
>>196466702Romania is not first world
>>196466881Bro you dropped your mirror
>>196469017>>196469062Our minimum salaries are set by unions, for cleaners its like 1800€ but because every union set them it might be also 3k€, so its more flexible model.
>>196466702Only Czechia
>>196469396Nobody mentioned romania, shut up shut upshut up reeeeee
>>196468560Minimum wage in Cyprus is now 1k euro btw
