You should worry much more about missing out on pure love, which is something many can't even achieve during their life time. Most of people long for a relationship in spite of fear of being alone, which is something that hardly will give you the real happiness you are looking for. Teen love is extremely superficial, the people who manage to get a meaningful and profound relationship during that time are just a handful (lucky ones, considering how romantic it can sound). It's no use to cry because you didnt get it, i'd put my focus on the present.
