It's usually people with jobs that require them to carry lots of equipment (think welders, heavy equipment operators), have them camping at job sites long term and they have to haul a mobile home (happens in rural America), or they own horses/livestock. I think Europeans just can't handle freedom of choice. There is no proverbial gun to your head making you buy a Superduty, and the people who own them either pay for it in maintenance (the diesel ones are unreliable for anything other than 20-30,000+ miles a year) or fuel (they often get 10mpg or less if it's a gasoline one)
