I suffer in this nature-less country. Imagine not being able to enjoy a walk through a gorgeous breathtaking rainforest. Imagine not contemplating the pristine green, abundant wildlife and beautiful landscapes the jungle has to offerI suffer in cold, flat, gray belgium. No flora, no fauna, no beaches, no waterfalls, no nothing. Please pray for my soul.

>>199185394I hecking love being swarmed by mosquitos under 40°C 99% humidity weather!
>>199185394Nearly all our coast is covered with the wonderful atlantic forest, filled with exotic fruits, beautiful birds, gentle fauna, almost no mosquitos and annoying insects. Not to mention that the sandy beaches/forests/mountains make a beautiful scenario. In my opinion it's much, much better than the mosquito ridden and hot, unpleasant amazon. Since it's a hilly and mountainous region, we didn't manage to destroy it all. No need to envy us though, nature is the only thing i like and i will miss when I leave this disgusting hellhole.
Interesting how people's perspectives have changed in the last century or so. Up until the mid-19th century one of the chief aspects of Britain that foreigners commented on was how agriculturally fertile it is, and how every inch had been tamed by landowners and farmers for the growth of crops or the rearing of sheep and cattle. After all, God gave man dominion over all of Creation.Funny how things have changed
