I was there just last week (Federal BA). While Buenos Aires is a nice city and has plenty to offer, their economy is still garbage and the currency is a joke, if you don't get paid in USD then you'll live in poverty.
That said, it amazes me how Buenos Aires manages to look so much nicer than most US or Canadian cities, despite Argentina being in decline for 80 fucking years now. They really nailed the architecture and heckin' walkability there (note: this only applies to Federal Capital BA, not to the surrounding suburbs)
