Tfw the hottest it gets where I am is 20 degrees
>>
>>200098369
I've been to UAE 100 degrees is nothing compared to it
>>
>>200098188
Are buildings in Spain built to retain heat?
>>
>>200098443
No you don’t understand. Dry heat and wet heat are nothing alike.
>>
>>200098188
Air conditioners have not yet been banned in Europe
>>200098337
I know an American who didn't go to work because it started snowing

I'm pretty sure UAE and Israel are worse than Houston when it comes to humidity

But it wasn't pleasant I'll admit that much
>>
>>200098520
We have to pay to park on the street lmao
On the other hand my car insurance is ~350€/year
>>
>>200098520
A significant amount of taxes in America goes to road maintenance because we only have one transportation method that literally everyone has to use regardless of age or physical condition.
>>
>>200098644
im not talking about roads. parking lots are generally privately owned
>>
>>200098644
And my states roads continue to be absolutely terrible

i unironically have a seater on right now since its so cold on my side of the bulding
>>
>>200098687
That's even worse because you have to recoup the $20,000 monthly rent that these retail giants are paying.
>>
>>200098604
UAE is giga arid and Israel is semi arid
>>
>>200098708
It's a lot with parking.
>>
>>200098188
I'll never understand the euro hatred for air conditioning. Somebody told me once that they think there are malevolent spirits that live in air conditioners that spread disease and ill fortune. I didn't believe him then, but I should have listened.
>>
>>200098749
I work for a company that does paving for walsharts and stuff
Holy fuck it is way more expensive than people think. Like the numbers thrown around here are ridiculous.
>>
>>200098797
It wasn't huwite man's weather I'll tell you that much

>>

>>

>>
>>200098188
you fags have never had to experience 40c+ weather every summer, we dont have aircon either and all our houses are concrete
>>
>>200098188
62 is way too cold, I keep mine at 80
>>
I sleep under the roof with two little kids, as long as it cools down at night it's no problem when you can open two windows so there's draft (Durchzug). Would never want to miss to see the stars from where I sleep
>>
>>200098981
Might as well have just stayed in Mexico at that point.
>>
>>200098873
there's a lot of parking on that parking lot
>>
>>200098188
What percentage of the homes in your country are air-conditioned?
Here it is 25% country-wide, larger percentage in urban areas
Here is an interactive map:

>>
>>200098520

>>
>>200099613
About 60 percent.
>>
>>200099679
Do the populated areas really get that warm during the summer in Canada?
>>
>>200098375
This is getting truer each year
>>
>>200098873
Why do Americans waste so much land on this shit rather than parking on the sidewalk like normal people?
>>
>>200098188
I love keeping my AC at 68F(20 C) and wearing a love sleeve
>>
>>200100636
Long*
>>
>>200100636
>20℃

too cold
25℃ is enough for me.
Do you live in a very large room?
>>
>>200098188
so why don't you just get an AC?
i don't get it
>>
>>200099613
35,5%, i expected it to be lower desu, my region is up north so pretty much nobody has it
>>
>>200103067
It's to spite us
>>
>>200103067
Eastern European and Balkan countries have an easier time because here people do whatever they want with their apartment, thats why there are buildings with 5 different types of window and AC units put on 4 different places. Its ugly as shit but makes it easier to install an AC. Western countries actually abide to regulations and care about appaerance so it is more complicated to install a unit in an apartment
>>
>>200103962
And Americans have that window unit which also makes the building look ugly as shit but it does not seem to be regulated
>>
>>200099613
Barely any.
>>
>>200098188
explain how africans and indians survive 40c with no ac
now explain why you are inferior to them
>>
>>200104224
They ignore being sweaty.
>>
I went for my normal 8km run today.
It that wall hard after just 3km.
Maybe wouldnt even get as far had i not be following behind some gyatt.
>>
>>200104224
Shit and i saw at least 2 brothas wering sweatshirts today... How do they do it?
>>
>>200104747
They say the same about wypipo when it's -10 degrees outside
>>
>>200104224
almost like different RACES are adapted to different environments...
also theres a near direct negative correlation between temperature and IQ that will only break apart once theres enough brown people in Europe to bring the average down
>>
>>200099613
>What percentage of the homes in your country are air-conditioned?
"Currently, some 90% of the population in the U.S. has access to AC, compared to 9% in Indonesia and just 5% in India.Jul 20, 2022"
Source -- Google
>>
>>200099613
>In 2020, 88–90% of homes in the United States had air conditioning (AC), according to a federal government survey and the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA)
>>
>>200105209
>>200105252
wow
I expected it to be around 70% or something
>>
>>200105209

holy shit how horrifying
>>
>>200106131

>>

Yes. It gets very hot here in the summer.
>>
>>200098369
you die on 100 degrees
>>
>>200098337
>>snowflake falls
>>entire infrastructure fails
Maybe in the south, but there are plenty areas that get heavy snow during the winter
>>
>>200100062
I dont want to parallel park. I like having space.
>>
>>200098337
It’s like that in most of Europe, including the southern half of Sweden
>>
>>200098478
I’ve been to Thailand where it’s wet but not 100 degrees in the shade and it was terrible unless you were hanging on the beach.
So do you live in the worst place in the world?
>>
>>200106542
Saar please no saar no
do not redeem the deodorant saar
>>
>>200104224
They die in droves
>>
>>200098188
Why did you post all those wall mounted AC units? Do Europeans not even understand what central AC is? You don’t see the unit, you just have a small digital controller on the wall

There are no central ac in Europe
>>
>>200098508
They don't have winter tires. They will literally die if they drive to work when it snows. We've all seen the highway pileups that are mass casualty events whenever it snows down there.
>>
>>200108387
whats winter tires? do you guys need a special tire thats only used in winter?
>>
>>200108411
Yes. Winter tires have better traction for on snow and ice. Everyone who owns a car here has to switch out their tires between winter and non-winter seasons.
>>
>>200098520
you've clearly never been to any are with more than 10,000 people

>>
>>200098188
I've never had a day where I kept the AC off (or heat off if it's winter.)
It's always continuously running 24/7 to keep the house a comfortable 21C. Can't relate to europoors suffering.
>>200107951
Also this. I've only ever lived with central AC/heating, never mounted units.
>>
>>200108989
oh i think we have something like that at my apartment yeah, but its a little dial like a volume knob, we dont use it tho because the temperature is fine and it drives the electricity bill way up (electricty is much mroe expensive in europe)
