In the Philippines, we tolerate homosexuals and there are popular openly gay celebrities, and public figures. Openly gay couples can also be seen in public and no one cares. There are also yearly Pride Parades. But we don't have gay marriages and the government doesn't support their lifestyle and public schools and other government owned buildings aren't allowed to have pride flags.

I think this is a good thing. Am I chud or not? Should we do more for our LGBT people?

I go to a Catholic university and they had a pride banner in an event once and talked about how important it is to accept the LGBT community as loving Catholics.
