Is minced meat popular in your country?Finland, yes
>>200153349how do you cook it?I just shove it on the grill and turn the gas on.it turns out disgusting.
I make>ragu alla bolognese >meatballs>kofta >mapo tofu>pad kra pao>steamed pork patty >keemaFrom mince meat
>>200153385https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgwYHK0MYtsthis is pretty standard way of eating it here
>>200153349
>>200153385You're supposed to make spaghetti bolognese and burger patties or something with it, Not just shove it under the grill.
>>200153398Also also pies
>>200153409>>200153423fuck I never even considered to stir itI just thought it was supposed to be grilled like pork, on two sides
>>200153438what the fuck who raised you what the hell did you eat when you were a kid
Raw minced beef or horse.
>>200153444spaghetti, sausages and ocasinonal mashed potato, for drinks mineral waterthat was my daily ration for breakfast, lunch and dinner for 20-something years
>>200153415Hell yeah What kind of beer is that?
>>200153493I always had the image that Belarussians would have very old school Finnish diet, potatoes and meat but it seems like you have modernized a bit and started eating pasta stuff. I still prefer potatoes though.though the fact that you have seemly never eaten minced meat before is still wild. You would think some kind of pastry would have it so you would realize what it boils down tolearning to cook and making your food the way you like it is the best
>>200153349yeah we make meatballs and meatball soup out of it.
>>200153555the cheapest pale lager you can have in this country. 2,55l € / ljust barley and hops
>>200153563I hate cooking and honestly I also hate eating.Food is disgusting
>>200153615but you do drink vodka though?
>>200153583in brown sauce or tomato sauce? So basically Swedish or Italian. I've never gotten into the taste of meatballs in tomato sauce
>>200153595Sounds kinda grody. I like whiskey personally it's the most efficient and cost effective method of drinking
>>200153623vodka and cola pretty good yeit got calories, sustainable. One can live off of it
>>200153640yeah, I dont drink anymore but the drinking culture is pretty much to buy the cheapest beer you can buy and drink shit ton of it and casuallywhen I did drink I liked salmiakki koskenkorva, its liqueur and its known to be something that is very very easy to drink but its still strong (30%) and isnt something as sweet and imo disgusting as baileys or similar. If you ever get your hands on it, do buy it since its something every country should have.
>>200153644I do wonder how many of you have liver issues
>>200153777zoomers don't drink thdoeugh albeit
>>200153713Is that licorice liquor? Does Borghetti get exported to Finlandia?
>>200153640If Finland is anything like Sweden it’s cheaper to get drunk on beer than to pay 30€ for the cheapest whisky or 20€ for the cheapest vodka
>>200154901salmiakki is basicall very salty licorice. The strong taste of it basically cancels alcohol and it just tastes like medicineyes we have it here in alcohol stores though I've never been a wine drinker so I havent tasted alomst any of them
>>200154954
>>200155056Borghetti is a coffee liquor, you can make it at home easily. I'm not a drinker either but it's quite good despite coming from terronia. I would recommend it.
>>200155092making moonshine is illegal though few years ago it became illegal to make kilju, just alcohol made from water yeast and sugar. The cheapest thing you can make
>>200154954>to pay 30€ for the cheapest whiskyI can get a 1.5 liter thing of whiskey for $30 at Costco. And the cheapest brand is like $15 bucks.I like whiskey but it's easy to drink too much. Wine is really the best of both worlds imo
>>200155240it became legal*
>>200155240>it became illegal to make kiljuNo way kek. Fermenting sugar is now illegal, in Finland of all places. It's been illegal for a while here too, people ignored it and kept making it as before, a few decades ago they started allowing personal production up to a few liters per batch. I use alcohol to clean and in a camp stove, thinking of starting distilling myself since prices have become insane.
>>200153398>no shepherds piegay wog
>>200155324it became legal that is. It was illegal for so many years. AFAIK the whole thing against home brewing started during the late 1800s when almost all of us died to hunger here and it was made illegal to make alcohol out of the little food people had. Then it was kept most likely because our very restrictive alcohol policies.just recently it became legal to sell 8% alcohol in supermarkets. Before that it was state liquour store stuff.
Anyway I would never buy minced meat from a supermarket, especially if prepackaged. I only buy from butchers.
>>200155542we dont really have butchers here, there are but there is really no need. We have meat counters in supermarkets but pretty sure I saw an article that stated that its not really fresher, its actually less fresh and the only benefit it can have is that you can get specific amount and specific amount of fatI think our food quality in general is pretty high and the need for butchers is not that high. Nordics in general I think.
>>200155640oh yeah, and the counters mostly used to buy fish anyway
>>200153555>What kind of beer is that?"unemployed my neetbucks just arrived to my bank account" beer
>>200155451Never liked itFor me a pie should have pastry at the bottom and on the top
