For the quality of life you can achieve (arguably better than the USA), for the cost you are paying (LITERALLY the cheapest in the world, similar to living in vietnam) it's insane how good of a deal it is.And it's EMPTY too. Any place you go outside of tokyo will have hundreds of ABANDONED apartments and houses just waiting for you to move in.
