Tell me ghost stories from your country

Very common. They suddenly appear during Election season and then mysteriously disappear for the next 4 years.

I work at an inn built in the pre Civil War era. The property used to have an orchard worked by slaves. Builders, guests, and staff say they've seen balls of light, appliances turning on and off, doors opening and closing, and other phenomena. Once the construction crew said they saw a man dressed in rags walk across the yard and disappear into a barn after asking for help.

You can tell that ghosts aren't real because capitalists haven't figured out a way to use them as a cheap labor source yet.
