I should have gone with a Nvdia GPU since they handle emulators a lot better. I have a GTX 1080 that is dead or dying that I purchased used for 100. I suspect it was used for crypto mining and someone flashed the bios to undervolt and temporarily get rid of artifacts. It started artifacting like crazy after a couple of months.
