How well do different variants of Arabs understand each other?
>>
>>200208384
ME + Egypt + Sudan = Understand each other perfectly.

Anything west of Egypt = Understand each other and also us. But we cannot understand them very well.

>arabs
North Africans aren't Arabs they're Berbers who have been utterly subdued by Arabs
Until the 1600s the majority of them spoke Berber

This happens all over the world. The answer is the far-off dialect speakers can almost always speak and understand the central standard variety and that's enough, see >>200208595. Most countries just tend to have this occur internally between regions and the capital, this is just a pan-regional version of it.

>>200208641
no one cares retard we're talking about arabic dialects not ethnicity or race
>>

The Berber man, or woman at this point, will rise up
>>

What you're saying is the people in the periphery understand the original centre version but not other periphery versions?
>>
>>200209496
Something like that, yeah. The central standard variety doesn't necessarily need to geographically be at the centre of the country, but it will almost always be the dominant variety spoken by the middle-class in the nation capital.
