Do you have retirement in your country
>>
>>200209645
He aint wrong. If you wanna retire do it on your own dime
>>
Yeah, my job has an auto enrollment pension thingy and its actually pretty good, I'm gonna be living large when I retire
>>
>>200209645
Why are tradcucks so retarded
>>
>>200209645
Yeah when your "job" consists of writing grifter books and debating college retards maybe you can afford to work until 80
>>
>>200209772
If his job is so easy why don't you do it?
>>
>>200209645
hes right retirement is retarded in an economy where most jobs arent physically demanding.

most people get depressed and less healthy after retiring
>>
What do you mean you don't wanna spend a significant portion of your GDP giving money to old people?
>>
>>200209812
That's because most people aren't capable of self-direction and need to be told what to do

just googled this guy to see if he was a tradie before he got on TV but he went to art school for theater and singing and has exclusively worked in media and entertainment his entire life lol
>>
>>200210047
He worked more in one day of filming than you have in your entire life entitled loser.
>>
>>200209853
if they quit their main job and start a business/work on something thats not 'retirement'

what i mean is people who just slavk off and live on savings until death
>>
>>200209645
i think so. so far ive never last more than 2 months at any job so i dont get any kind of benefits. i dont think ill have any savings by the time im 65 and ill become a burden on welfare and continue to bum it out

ehrm... you were saying?

Musical theater and most performing arts work is very, very hard work. Lots of practice, irregular hours and scheduling, lots of travel, and all the issues associated with gig work on top of it.
t. I work in performing arts and know this from experience

Yet he has no problem with loads of tax dollars going to Israel kek
>>
>>200210573
Substance issues are common in this field, I'll concede that. My point stands though. Unless you're truly gifted it's hard to make a living through performing by itself. In theatre many people have a second job or backup gigs like backstage work or teaching.
>>
>>200209645
when i'm old as fuck, i might just do a lot of volunteering to avoid blowing my brains out. at that age i don't think i'd be able to handle being seen as useless and lonely
>>
>>200209693

Is it defined benefit? I'm gonna be getting 50k a year from my job until I die.
>>
>>200209645
Tbh from what I've learned from my work experience is retirement is brutal. I've had 6 former coworkers die about 5-12 months after retiring because they couldn't work anymore lmao. I'm not making that fucking mistake.

not every job has it so I would say so yeah
>>
>>200209645
Social parasite who never worked a real job in his life is against retirement.
What a shock.
