I know I'm asking a beginner-level question, but am I correct in assuming that the "fall" in "the fall of Berlin" refers to what Berlin surrendered to the red army in 1945 whereas the "fall" in "the fall in Berlin" indicates the season in which leaves fall (I mean, autumn)?

>>200221989technically yes, but it sounds awkward to say "the fall in Berlin" most people would probably say "Berlin during fall" or something like that
