Same, I like going into one to pick up my stuff
>>
>>203461310
is that like a locker pick up spot for packages?
we have those here but its way more common for the post office/delivery company to just pay some local shop to do basically the same job.
>>
>>203461310
w-what is it?
>>
>>203461433
we have both. there are like 4 competing companies and some of them also have pickup options at stores and bars
>>
>>203461310
Same but they're often full
>>
>>203461439
You order something online and when it arrives you get a message with the code and you can go there and pick it up
You can also send packages this way
No way you dont have it in US?
>>
>>203461492
probably because theyre from some shit company and not inpostâ„¢
>>
>>203461506
they just drop it at my front door, amazon was here twice today and Fedex once
>>
>>203461567
What about porch pirates
>>
>>203461310
What's the point? Here, couriers will just leave shit outside your house.
You don't mean to tell me that you live in a shithole country in which postal theft is common, right?
>>
>>203461567
Yeah that does not work here, we have fences and burglers etc
Few modern apartments have reception but most people who dont use this order it at their workplace
>>

Why is the high street dying why are american companies getting richer and more powerful
>>
>>203461600
Not a problem for 99.99999% of people.
>>
>>203461600
Never happened to me or anyone else I know in my area.
>>
>>203461601
fast as fuck
you can get amazon prime equivalent for ~$12 for a year
you dont have to be home
they are everywhere it's convenient
it's cheaper, $2-3 to get anything shipped
it makes it stupidly easy to return stuff and send packages
>>
>>203461601
Very fast, cheaper, also you can post your packages from the locker
>>
>>203461601
Both are available, here the box things are usually near random stores and shit, you can pick it up whenever you want.
>>
i never use them, i prefer visiting order pick up points run by actual humans.
i never use vending machines either.
>>
bumoing this gem
>>
that's cool
here you can easily get your package delivered to a nearby post office and pick it up there
many supermarkets and pharmacies will have a small post office so there's usually one nearby
in rural areas though our postal service are lazy/cheap fucks and deliver everything to "community mailboxes" instead of door to door

>>

it'll fit into one of the boxes
>>
>>203465511
Do you have to wait for the post office to open to go in and collect it then? That's how it works here if you don't live on the delivery route.
>>
>>203465547
>33 x 28.5 x 58 centimetres
