Every day, I wish I was born American. I apologize to all Americans for even breathing the same air as you. I am an irrelevant communist European with no experience in free speech, low American taxes, or the freedom of owning guns. America is truly the greatest country in the world with people intelectually enligthened population.I adore American movies and TV shows, from classics of the '60s-'00s to the modern works of today. Your cultural exports alone prove greatness of your nation. I also love your politics, they are like a movie.I’d love to visit one day, but I fear that the moment I leave that Heaven on earth and step back into boreurope, I’ll be completely crushed by the weight of what I’ve lost. Knowing I’ll probably never be able to move there makes me incredibly sad.
Ok
>>204553605Europe hasn't been good in more than a hundred years
>>204553734Holy shit>>204553641>>204553605Anyways, I will do everything in my power to make my way into America. Raising kids in Europe is torture, mentally and spiritually destroyed in a system that trashes ambition and punishes success. When I have children, I want them to grow up as Americans, surrounded by freedom, opportunity, and a culture that celebrates GREATNESS and POWER.
>>204553605Most of the dominant media in the 60s-80s was the UK & Commonwealth friends. ACDC is Australian, glam rock was British, David Bowie was British, Jamiroquai was British, the best movies in the 60s were British, the Beatles are the best selling musician of all time. American media is typically very slow paced and bogged down by realism (Blood Simple), shamelessly post-modern (80s horror), or in some cases blatantly demoralizing (Reality TV). The only thing that makes the US so dominant is they pay skilled people what they're worth and they never have to worry about the state taking their credit or appropriating their work. That doesn't mean the US is good for the average person, they mean it when they say 'exceptionalism' because if you aren't this country doesn't like you much. It's not a good place to raise kids if you can't pay private tuition since those are the only good unis in the US, local governments have a lot of power and run things how they like so it's always a gamble if your area has good planning. Very competitive landscape, but I'd raise kids somewhere else.
