>>204749904It's going to be horrid
Can’t be worse than that spacing good lord
I'm genuinely thrilled to see exactly how the MTA will completely fuck up the Final in Meadowlands.
Is there no "main stadium"? It could be good if one American city was invaded by foreign football fans for a few weeks and we'd get a lot of funny content from it as we usually get. But it's so scattered.
>>204749989The closest thing to it would be Meadowlands, which is the New York stadium that is actually located in New Jersey and surrounded on all sides by a four lane major highway.
>>204749904I'm more worried about the Los Angeles Olympics opening cermeony. Paris was atrocious, god only knows how horrendous it will be in literally California
>>204750013I wish we could have crowds of drunk brits trashing the streets of new york but this seems like it will suck
>>204750017I guarantee it will go down as merely lame and unimaginative compared to whatever horrors you've cooked up in your mind.
>>204750027>I wish we could have crowds of drunk brits trashing the streets of new york but this seems like it will suckI mean they can try if they can afford it, but honestly New York is such an overpriced shithole that most brit hooligans will have to settle for trying to trash Kansas City at best and getting shot by a trigger happy Americop or a cholo gangbanger.
>>204750027They'd meet their match in Philly
>>204749904>Canada spending $600 million to host matches by dogshit teams that nobody's going to fly over to watch IRL and spend money in Canadaugh
>>204749904it depends on what you mean by bad. Qatar was bad in my opinion because there was zero hype outside the stadiums, you saw some fun interviews but nothing like thishttps://x.com/BowTiedMara/status/1802319505013502432 other people consider it a success because it was orderly
>>204750656My metric for success is if the visitors learn to embrace the tailgate party
They better fucking do it. Trump has to dictate terms to FIFA.
>>204749904The kino already peaked in brazil WC been getting worse amd worse ever since.
Including Mexico is freaking horribleMany spectators will be targets of cartels during the World CupHow annoying and pathetic it is to have to carry a self-defense weapon somewhere on my body just to watch a soccer gameFIFA made a really stupid decision
>>204749904The management of the Copa America final match (Colombia vs Argentina) was very bad. /sp/ was full of videos showing colombians who had not paid for the ticket illegally entering the stadium through the air ducts; while people who paid for it were left crying outside because some nigger had stolen their place and the stadium was at full capacity. That's the biggest threat to these things: fans behaving like subhumans in the vicinity of the gates. Otherwise it's going to be alright.
still can't believe ours wasn't a total disaster. and the funny thing is we absolutely wouldn't be able to do it today
Will Donald make public transportation for 2026?
>>204751147The World Cup will take place at the tail end of Donald's planned 250th American Anniversary National Fair, around the Fourth of July. It's gonna be a complete mess.
