The youtuber Bald and Bankrupt has become a CCP agent. I just watched his last video and he says, "Well I came to China to see what was the reality utopia or tofu brick dystopia. And from the quick expedition I can say that whilst China like any country isn't perfect, it most certainly is not the kind of dystopia that is often portrayed as in the media. China from what I've seen is clean it's orderly. It's well-run, has incredible infrastructure and most important, recently as we've seen, has some friendly people."He goes to India and shits on that country but he has nice things to say about China? I'm calling bullshit.
>>204750309>He goes to India and shitswhen in rome,
>>204750309He actually got mogged by an Indian while he was in India so now he's mad.
>>204750309>He goes to India and shitsIsn't that what you're supposed to do there
>>204750309>It's well-run, has incredible infrastructure and most important, recently as we've seen, has some friendly people."That just means he's in his yellow fever era
>>204750309chinese look normal but they seem to be cut off from the internets
>>204750309Always been confused at how they handle their PR. I don't really care about China one way or the other but the whole ''wow china so great, we will pay you to say it's great', i swear it's so great'' comes off as really fake. You never saw Americans do this and they have more softpower. You can go and say it sucks, in fact many Americans themselves keep complaining that their country sucks (irrelevant if true or not) and it comes off as genuine. This permanent positivity gives off potemkin village vibes.
>>204751375what i hate is that they keep designing so many carcentric cities. they're trying to be like america too much. i watch driving/walking videos from around the world and to my surprise i found a shitload of cities in china not just shanghai that are full of 6 lane STROADS. i wish they would design cities centered around WALKING/CYLCLING, not driving. i made a list and every single video here is a different city and there are even more videos and cities but i got tired of timestamping all the 6 lane STROADS. and if you don't know what stroads are, feel free to ask. i'll also explain why they should stop building carcentric cities if you wanthttps://youtu.be/_8WCiRW0vZw?t=504https://youtu.be/u_k_I6VaN34?t=4018https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mblWnsP57pAhttps://youtu.be/KBclVVJFnS0?t=162https://youtu.be/08o4trrTODI?t=833https://youtu.be/H8xtmrjHSbY?t=297https://youtu.be/2errqQ4NAHM?t=138https://youtu.be/MIUD-FE8rco?t=1567https://youtu.be/Boh66Pjjiq0?t=663https://youtu.be/FE0pKlskeGc?t=2557https://youtu.be/ExgXvUyACzA?t=428https://youtu.be/hap2acZ_PWE?t=517https://youtu.be/GjpOH3xZQqQ?t=1428https://youtu.be/KQTKhN1qus8?t=2657https://youtu.be/8T044v8EG5E?t=3451https://youtu.be/_RfkEL4JMvE?t=1586https://youtu.be/LFzv3Fv7CIk?t=1944https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1GI09vukAkhttps://youtu.be/c_E3iU6c6Ig?t=114https://youtu.be/80N-ShwGTQU?t=523https://youtu.be/4b2Y4WN3frY?t=774https://youtu.be/HUbKO1cACLE?t=248https://youtu.be/jiA4PDQsSAo?t=3158https://youtu.be/-seijTcJBsY?t=2071https://youtu.be/wkpZ7zcYjz8?t=177https://youtu.be/fQ-skALArmI?t=4252https://youtu.be/CZ4QGHTYloM?t=683https://youtu.be/_LZqqgWlK8Y?t=2069https://youtu.be/v2mU_-ngq94?t=6450https://youtu.be/XC9iWZIbZXA?t=951https://youtu.be/OQx4S7fJJfQ?t=2987https://youtu.be/uiYkDWeWwxw?t=640https://youtu.be/6RkpP_cCM8Q?t=271
>>204751453i also recommend the youtube channel CityNerd, he makes informative videos about the negatives of carcentric citiesand some good reads on why carcentric cities are bad:https://yaleclimateconnections.org/2019/04/gop-mayor-turns-city-into-pedestrian-paradise/https://www.yesmagazine.org/economy/2021/05/05/15-minute-city-walkhttps://www.theurbanist.org/2023/01/28/report-ranking-us-metros-shows-walkable-urbanism-pays-dividends/
>>204750309>He goes to India and shits on that country but he has nice things to say about China?>I'm calling bullshit.I think multiculti with muslims is the prime reason India isn't catching up. They are a very stubborn people unafraid of sacrificing themselves for their beliefs. China has a physical construction (visible from SPACE) to remind them of protecting what is dear to them. I don't understand your doubt one bit.
>>204751453Cities should be designed for working not for living in, part of the reason birthrates are collapsing almost everywhere is that the kind of people that think it a great idea to public transport with a 100 pajeets are not willing to share a bedroom with their kids. Build more commuting towns and suburbs (preferably segregated) and make living in the city unaffordable but to the rich
