Have you ever taken a break from the internet in your country? I don't even think i can make it a week honestly, yet i have something that pulls me towards atleast attempting it. I'm not saying exclude all media, gaymen, musac etc. Just the never ending stream of slop coming from the internet.

I live in the middle of the forest.
Every single time there is a blizzard, storm or thunder I get a break from the internet. Last one was in September after some thunder. Was without internet for six days.

I think I tried that once. But my memory is so foggy i can't really remember.
>>
nah
>>
yes i also tried to self-sabotage my social life.
>>
I really want to do it.
But I use the internet to drown out all the equally awful shit IRL. I need money to get rid of both and finally be at peace.

if you think you need a break from the mundane internet then you are the type of person the mundane internet was created for. people who don't take the internet seriously never need breaks because they are never saturated. unless you are a community manager or some other meme internet job then you can stop whenever you want.

You're literally saying here that addicts can't get enough of the internet and so they never even try to take breaks. (unlike me).

you're an idiot
>>
yeah for like 3 months, my brain rested really well
>>
I don't feel the need to take a break, the internet keeps me entertained.
>>
anyway, goodbye
>>
If you want to be real bad arse try a week without internet and no TV either.

I usually don't use my phone when I'm on holiday except for messaging other people traveling with me. But at home, not really.
>>
every now and then i go to our shack by the riverside and spend days doing nothing but fishing
really helps me want to kill myself less

obviously retard, it's like saying drinking water addiction is just as bad as heroin addiction.

I only have internet via 4G/5G so whenever I go hiking or fishing I usually lose signal for a few days.
It's very comfy.

But then again, I grew up without internet until I was in my late teens.

Yes, for a few months while I was in med school as I simply didn't have time. I did "browse" the internet but only for class related stuff. I didn't use social media or browse 4chan (also on school/dorm wifi just in case). Now I'm back home so I'm getting used to shitposting again.

Regularly yep. Too lazy to boot my pc up and just read books for 3-4 days straight on the couch while listening to music (yes children, music without internet)
Also when I go on my vacation every year since I only bring a flip phone.

Yea from November last year to June this year I never used the internet unless it was for piracy or gaming, it was pretty cool
