Nothing wrong with Windows 10.
But I can't update to Windows 11, so I'll have to buy a new one next year.

And there will be a mountain of discarded Windows 10 PCs all over the world.

It's crazy how Microsoft thinks it's up to them to decide if you should install an update or not. My laptop tries to update every few days and it always fails, having to revert back, constantly wasting my time. And no damn instruction to stop updates works, thing fucking sucks. Absolutely user-hating judaic assholes, same as Apple.

it's just sudo pacman -S whatever or some git shit, how much of a brainlet do you have to be to not memorize a couple of words, besides, almost everything works smoothly unless you are doing or installing something that is way above your understanding, which is usually the case with windows users

for some reason they removed the CTRL K shortcut (quick way to connect bluetooth), they also mixed up all the menus from botton right (sound, bluetooth, internet) in one giant menu. holy shit w11 is so fucking garbage. i'm sticking with w10 and finally moving to mint after it's no longer supported, fuck microsoft and their pajeet product managers.
>>

Even if the command is basic half the time there's some shit wrong and you gotta go dig around in config files n shit
I remember briefly tried Linux mint and just trying to set up a basic night light application was a nightmare.

bro, you probably have some old laptop around to try a distro, I seriously suggest you to burn a usb stick with arco linux as your entry to arch, you don't have to think about nothing, it just werks, shit, you could even make an international thread about it, it would be fun. Once you leave the microsoft windows bubble you will understand the level of damage that they make literally preventing people from learning and growing

I'm not going to say that Linux is all gravy and that they're aren't issues, but when you say that "Linux tards think it's better to have to run 800 commands just to install a basic application which will still not work correctly" is funny because installing from a package manager with one command is easier than the usual downloading of an exe and running through the install wizard.

windows has package managers, but GUIs are intuitive to use, you don't need to know any unix spells beforehand. any ease of installing things from a single command only applies to people who know them beforehand. if you have to google things every time, as opposed to just navigating a menu and finding, it will feel annoying.

I've never had any issues like this with dnf. Maybe it's an apt thing, IDK. Anyway, I'm not one of those cultist freetards who tries to force Linux on everyone. I'll even praise MS by saying that they're right in a kilobyte being 1024 bytes.
>>205753059
Yeah, which is why I like macOS so much. I don't like a lot about apple, but they got their UI and UX right. Too bad the second you deviate from their ecosystem, it's hell.
>>
They even hid the Log/Sign out option. It's hidden in a vague 3 dot icon. I hate the new computers at work. The only way to get around all that shitty menu design is to make a desktop shortcut for everything. I even made a shortcut to log out.

Miss me with that shit. Sticking to 10 LTSC for gaming (idgaf, I only play oldfag games anyway) and Ubuntu noob version for everything else.

Pros:
>linux is simple as fuck
>no more annoying microdick updates forced down on you
>simple UI
>no search bar, no cortana, no built in ads and trackers you have to spend a whole day debloating

Cons:
>connecting phone/SSD with USB is very fucky
>shitty file explorer (nemo)
>shitty file explorer themes (the browse button from 4chan only shows miniature thumbs)

My last qualm is windows 11 though is HOW FUCKING BRIGHT IT IS
It's killing my eyes, all this bright white shit. I miss the based and heterosexual windows 7 and XP.
