I'm currently doing a vocab deck, ~200 reviews and 50 new cards every day (25 new words in recognition and production cards), it takes me around an hour a day, and I'm also immersing for 1-2 hours a dayI just got another free hour every day, should I double my vocab time to get it over with quickly or do more immersion with that hour?

I still remember half of the hiragana and that's basically it. My plan is to learn 30min daily which isn't that long but now with a kid and full time job, time is even more limited. At least I have family to (later) practice talking with. I guess that gives me a big advantage. If I keep studying I estimate to be able to have somewhat fluent conversations in about 3 years. Do you agree? My focus is definitelly on learning vocabs first, some grammar inbetween and kanji later. And then jumping on communication with my wife asap. I just hope that with 35 years I'm not too old to learn a new language.
