Sorry to ask a silly question, but what are natural ways to say 彼はXXXの大統領に相応しくない in English?
I mean, I want to say something like "he's too incompetent to fulfill the role of President of XXX" more simply.

Do the following three sentences work?
>He's not fit to be President of XXX.
>He's unfit to be President of XXX.
>He's not qualified to be President of XXX.

I think they're all ok depending on why the person in question isn't a good choice. There is some slight nuance
Fit/unfit can suggest a character flaw or a health issue (like in "fit to plead"). Phrases like "not a good fit" are often about their personal character not matching the role, it could be a polite way to say they're an dick and nobody liked them.
Not qualified is for lack of experience or a qualification, they could be uneducated but maybe just haven't got the right paperwork.
If you wanted to be vague about the cause, you could use "unsuitable".
