Will jordie ever succeed in learning a new language, or is he destined to fail again and again?
Last thread died because not a single fag bumped it.
>hard
Dear people of /lang/,
I, Namefaggot Namefaggington, officially declare that you shall not let this or any other noble thread be plunged into the dark depths of the endless archives. You shall keep bumping it all night and all day; you shall resist the innate state of noneхistance to the bitter end. May the spirit of jordie guide you accordingly.

Will es Jordie gelingen, eine neue Sprache zu lernen, oder ist er für immer zu fehlen verurteilt?
Letzte faden starb, weil keine einzige Scwuler ihn stieß.

I’m starting to get the hand of basic Spanish sentence construction. It’s making learning new words a lot easier. Thanks Duolingo.

I study Russian for around an hour a day of reading, but out of late I've been trying for more German fluency as I got better understanding of it by studying of Russian grammar. I practiced grammar more then vocabulary for Russian. Along with some pronunciation practice for myself. I have a pretty good memory, so I don't struggle to much with memorizing the written word. For memorizing grammar and vocabulary, I would recommend Pietro Motti's Elementary Russian Grammar (even if it is in the pre-1917 script standard script): https://archive.org/details/elementaryrussia00mottrich/mode/2up

¿Jordie un dia tendrá éxito en aprender a una nueva lengua, o él está destinado a fallar y fallar?
El hilo pasado murió porque ninguno maricon ha bumpeado

i only dabble with Spanish from time to time, i'm still too shit in my TL to attempt this

People will call me soy/bugman/reddit, but after experiencing how powerful spaced repetition is in the context of language learning, I've begun using it for many things in my life and have essentially abandoned traditional studying for mass anki cards. I noticed how much people forget. Smart people forgetting everything from their entire degree a few yeras later. I am determined not to let that happen, but I don't adhere to the 20 rules at all though, I basically use it as a scheduler. I've made an entire page of textbook problems as a card before for passing exams. The problem is I can't use FSRS because the parameters would get fucked due to the way I (ab)use it, so I do a lot more reviews that I have to. I do at least 2 hours of anki a day.

Rise, ye fellow Wanikani haters

I remember typing in "fu" instead of "fur" for "毛" and having to waste a day

Anki is simply superior in every respect, if you really need the discipline, tracking, streak system, and all the other extra bells and whistles, just vibecode some shit up

It's 2026, you've got Claude, there's no longer any real excuse

ultra-thirdie languages (before European contact) usually only distinguish three colours: black white and red
