I ended up tracking down all the currently available /blog/ archives from the /vg/ days.Turns out that through june-oct 2015 there were no active /vg/ backup sites and therefore threads #89-101 are lost media, unless I'm blind and missed something. For reasons I'm uncertain about, threads #116-127 don't have full archives on any live websites. But backups were thankfully available on the giant yuki.la dumps as html files (text only). Once again though, maybe I'm blind and missed something.I'm not sure what the best way to share this is though, should I just add it to a new page on the rec chart spreadsheet?
>>47862214Compile the downloads into a pastebin or google sheet and add it to the next OP. Thanks for archiving the threads btw. I don’t really go through them myself but I saw other anons seem to enjoy doing so.
I was browsing vndb and came upon this twincest 10 yo bl gacha game (all ages), that's been dead for years. But it seems that recently, someone made an unofficial pc port for it.https://vndb.org/v15286If any techfag anon is here, how is this possible, when the app itself is dead? Are .apks enough, even if the game is dead? I'd kill to play nexus code again.
>>47862997Are you sure it's gacha game? Looks like a normal phone game to me since it's short with just few characters. If it's possible to run the app offline then it's also possible to port it.>>47861748Is it the new otomate game about magic school?
>>47862997As long as the apk contains all of the game contents and no extra data has to be downloaded from the servers, porting is likely possible. And as a side note, sometimes apps are dysfunctional due to the server verification that lets access into the game (meaning dead server=no verification=dead game) but I've seen cases where apks are hacked to circumvent that verification completely to render it possible to run offline.
>>47863081>>47863138According to this, https://lostmediawiki.com/The_Cradle_of_Thorns_(found_mobile_visual_novel;_2014) it was a lost media game but was later discovered by someone. The company though, was already defunct by then. They found the .apk online and installed it but it failed because the servers were down.It was a paid by chapter game but you could also finish it for free if you had patience, but those who had paid for the game/finished it, still couldn't open it.So this makes me wonder. Were they able to port the game thanks to the people that still had the game installed in their phones and finished it, or just by installing the .apk you can access the game files? I might have nexus code installed in an old phone and the .apk seems to be lurking online. Nexus didn't have any gameplay just "checkpoints" leveling up to certain level to see the rest of the story like most cybird games for example, and this game seemed to be similar too. Thanks for your replies anons. It'd be awesome if we could access dmm r18 otome games like that too, but these sadly didn't have any .apk, they were web based. https://vndb.org/v45145
>>47863323Samefag, if there's no gameplay involved it should be easier to port apps. This sounds nice and gives me hope. Some stories are really interesting so it'd be nice if there was a way that we could preserve them. But this isn't going to be an easy job for sure, if it requires programming. Renpy though, if you have the assets, story and cg, is easy to insert them.
>>47862997Unrelated but it makes me sad how many mobile-exclusive games are lost forever. Once they're pulled off the store you can say good bye to ever playing those again. Meanwhile older games on PC and famous console can still be discovered by the new fans even decades later. If I was a serious creator I'd never agree to putting my work on mobile exclusively just for some momentary pay.
>>47863819Same. What can be done is recording everything from now on and datamine. With datamines someone could do what the chad did with the bl twincest game and make a renpy unity whatever engine pc version and preserve it forever, or do what most do since it's easier, record them and sometimes fantranslate them, like many sd clean dishes chads do on yt.But with recordings, you never know when they or yt might take them down. Same with sites like mega, drive. All it takes is one report.Datamining apps isn't that tough nowadays thankfully. Web browser games are different though, from my little knowledge it will require legit hacking them lol, so recordings it is. So I'm going to record picre, and any r18 otome or bl web based game from now. Kudos on voltage for porting their old mobage.
>>47863323I remember playing this game. It's another bl where at the end incest yanhomo kills an innocent woman over a dick. Why is it such a common trope, always with the brother incest? And why do fujos keep saying BL is misogyny-free and super nice to women when they get off to something like this? I bet you all would gladly kill yourselves if it meant some anime faggot could fuck a twink of his dreams.
>>47864717It's a 10yo game sis. Ofc bl fandom isn't misogyny free, but compared to now it's much better and you can find many cute/based female characters that aren't villains/getting in way or ending up getting cucked. Same with otome. I can give you multiple older otome titles where heroine was nothing more but a cook and maid and best was was her becoming a housewife instead of pursuing her dreams or had LIs make misogynistic remarks, " you're just a woman". Same with heroine fighting other girls for LIs. So it's s much better for both. But ofc you can still find shit that turn you off.Different era, different views and with the increase of feminism in Japan you'll see how different otome and bl will be 5 -10 years from now.
>>47864862I dunno sis. Maybe it's just my bad luck but over the last three years I've stumbled upon maybe twenty newish big bl and bl-pandering stories where an edgy faggot berates, beats up or even rapes women because they happened to be near his lil bro, and calls them pigs, sluts and what not. It these guys were straight there would be an uproar but since they're gay, feminist fujoshis drool all over them. Are ya'll secretly masochistic behind that "i wanna see guys hurt" facade? It's like an idea of a man being hateful or coldly indifferent towards women turns you on, minus them actually growing to like them afterwards. I see it every day irl in my country, and I'm just so tired of it being romanticized as some closeted gay drama in media. Girls are used as props to back up flawed guys who will never show them any love/genuine interest as people, since they only truly care about other men. I guess at least it's being realistic.
Anyone else cannot get Trouble Magia to run with the emulator at all? It's strange I never had this problem with any switch otome.
>>47865289NTA but if you want to see women being relevant and awesome why not get into galgames? In those games, the MC is always an average man while the main activities revolve around the women and how great they are.
>>47865289What are the titles so I can blacklist them?
>>47864717>I remember playing thisNah, you didn't lol, you didn't play a single thing
>>47865588Yeah seriously, there are a lot more strong women in galge despite them being sexualized. Just avoid the rapey ones because male fans of vanilla romance hate rape too.
There are stronger women in everything besides otome. If you play a real game, you will see them beating up men as they should.
>>47866042Seriously if I have to list my top favorite female characters from vn then all of them would come from galge. Female characters in bl are non-existent while in otome they are irrelevant and shallow due to the lack of screentime. BL and otome are made for the husbandos to shine, that anon is looking at the wrong material to find cool women.
>>47866216Pretty sure that anon is just the same shitposter trying to create drama in the last 2 threads so save your effort, they don’t actually care. They most likely didn’t even play the game because the thing they mention about one of the mcs killing an innocent women is in the wiki the original anon who brought the game up linked. They probably opened the wiki, saw that and got triggered.
It's funny because in the most recent BLge I read that has a yanhomo who kills a woman (among other people) it has nothing to do with jealousy or either of them liking MC and MC is really upset about it and heals her soul since she had a hard life even before being murdered which involved a shitty straight man.
>>47865289What titles did you play? From the blvns that I've played at least, I haven't come upon stuff like that desu, or something that would make me eyeroll that much.So to make things easier, I'll list you some from the ones that i played below. But first though, I'd like to ask you this. Are all otome fans masochists who get off cage/yandere kuns, like noncon LIs only and like ryona/whorehouse/forced preggo bad endings and in general plots where the heroine gets abused and is a huge M? And play otome only for the yanderes basically, giving 0 shits about good plot? The answer is obviously no, that's a very close minded way of thinking and same goes for bl, can't lump everyone and everything together. The twitter nitro bl audience "yes rape sex all males yes" does not represent the whole bl fandom, most fujos find them annoying too. And same for otome. Does otomereddit "yang best otome boy uwu yes toma plz cage me" represent the whole otome fandom? No. Many found them boring and trashy too. Not saying that they're doing something wrong, everyone is free to like whatever they want, but they do not represent everyone. I play bl for the plot like many other fujos. And the reason that the plot is better in bl, is because r18 tag is not only about sex, but can freely write darker themes without Nintendos stupid censorship laws, be it horror, be it darker themes, gore whatever. And bl are for 18+ audiences while otome is also targeted for minors 15+. Another reason newer otome are better plot-wise is because most of them are for 17+ audiences. And there are many who simply don't like straight romances/sex and prefer BL and GL. So about bl, usually women don't appear, if plots are set in all boys school or lamento settings with diseases killing them off. So there are instances where they don't appear at all or are just minor characters, like a clerk or something. The ones i liked or found well written/had major parts/were important to the plot>Sweet pool for exampleYoujis sister, was a really loving sister to her brother and what I actually found really tragic about the game, was the fact that although they really cared, missed and loved each other, their circumstances didn't allow them to meet. I cried at the scene were they finally managed to meet. >Aobas grandmother in dmmd Might have been strict and grumpy but she was a really loving and caring grandmother and her backstory saving Aoba from the lab that she worked and also fixed his robot dead bf in a route too lol . Villains>Slow damage Main villain is actually a woman and she's truly evil, but many can't help but find her a great villain. I didn't like her, but she's very well written.>no thank youKaori was a great character and it's such a shame that her story and her brothers Rens are artbook cucked. She's wonderful really sweet and a great woman. And basically the reason Ren is still alive but Ren helped her too and he's a very good boy. Kurosawa works have trans girls or intersex charas so you might not like them. I found them really cute and funny personally and i don't mind them desu. If you played Uuuc and didn't like Juuros fiance, both of them didn't like each other and loved someone else instead and were basically using each other for their own selfish purposes. So i haven't come upon stuff like that sis... 20 games to boot? Please do share the titles because that's a really shitty luck, unless you are talking about eng blvns. I don't touch them so can't tell. Karin bl don't have women appear at all, but karin has it's own otome branch. Pilslashs kusoge, Koibito yuugi, had oniichans fiance who dumbed his incest ass, the haraguro girl was grossed out by her crush being homo and told him to khs and megane LIs sisters, sexually harassed and bullied him as a child and tried to do this to his bf too, but like i said it's a kusoge and had worse shit happening. In Shingakkou It was the opposite actually, leonids fiance dumped leonid for his brother bc he was richer and leonid was super depressed about it and fell for Michael. So Togos games maybe? Togo is a well known degenerate though, and his games aren't for everyone. (But I liked both the nurse and Sayaka chan.)I can't speak about eroge/galge because i rarely play them. The plot must be really good for me to play, or the protagonist extremely cute, sexy or super unhinged and unfixable. And sorry about your country sis, but if gay stuff gross you out in general i dont think you'll ever like or understand fujos. I've seen worse misogynistic stuff in otome but don't lump them with the whole genre.
>>47868080SamefagI have played more than 100+ otome games and came upon >2 or 3 bisexual LIs in total>2 "hugos" if that's how you call themAnd 2 or 3 sexual abused victims (by male but not sure for 2 of them).Do these 2-3 games represent all otome games? Come on. The games btw Fortissimo, zettai & dynamic chord liar s (iirc it was a male who abused them pls confirm someone), tengoku, virche
>>47868004What game?>>47868080>>47868187Absolutely based joseimuke enjoyer
>>47865291I couldn’t get it to work with Ryujinx at all. It starts loading and then Ryujinx just shuts down by itself.
>>47868358Tokyo Satsujinki
>>47868506Try suyu, new yuzu basically. >>47868513I haven't played this one yet, but it seems to have good reviews. Ngl i don't remember the female characters in mebiusline but I do remember Love Deliverys otome games. Dropped princess Britannia, but the butler was cute at least. Didn't like the game at all, felt like a bad galge.Sanzen Yuugi was better, I liked the heroine.
>>47868187Add to this list Otometeki Koi, Blackish house (actually all Honeybee titles desu), Piofiore, Bancho Otome and Black wolves saga. There're many more if one wants to really get into counting them. You don't notice them because you go "yay more homos to ship", forgetting that it's a joseimuke game. The het romance suffers, the writting suffers but at least you have more gays.
>>47865912>>47866373Lmao no I did play it. Downloaded it on appstore when it was still available because I liked the gothic art and wanted to get into bl. It was fairly short, spent a lot of time on the older bro babbying the younger one and playing up the mystery, before coming to the ultimate tweeest of him being an obsessive psycho who keeps him in the house. Also he killed their parents or something? I don't remember. At the end yanhomo killed the girl his bro befriended in the garden and cooked her into a meal for him. Final cg of them hugging, uwu we'll always be together blah-blah-blah, and title roll. What a waste of space, no wonder it got deleted later.
>>47868664>honeybee titles Never played a game by them for some unknown reason, only watched starry sky anime, but want to play BH because I have a friend that keeps sperging about a Noah LI. But lol all, just what happens there? >piofiore Henri?
>>47868080>>47865635Unfortunately I don't keep a full list of all the things I've dropped over the years. And I was speaking more in a general sense, with shounen, seinen manga/manhwa/comics in mind. So it's probably not a very good place to share these thoughts. But to me the last straw that broke the camel's back was that Shonen no Abyss trainwreck. Homo beats up and rapes several women but uwu since he's in love with our feminine depressed princess protag-kun it's super moe and tragic. The ending was ironically funny since one of his victims, a faghag simp girl, took him in after he served his time in jail, even knowing he finds her disgusting. Did I mention she is also an obvious female author's avatar? Mmmm, fujoshi forgive their precious baby gays for anything. If she could, she would let him fuck the MC on her bed probably. I see it everywhere in and outside of female stuff, so finding out that even on otomes you can't escape it just brings me a headache.About mentioned women in the bl - it's a classic to add irrelevant female members to the bunch. It's what brings these men obsessed over men games the final spice. What's that, a female in our game filled with attractive men? Jokes on you, they will only fuck each other while the female char will either die to characterize the male MCs, gush at them being gay (though it's mostly like a mob girl characters thing) or be a bully villain. Does it blow your mind that hot men only want each other while women are out of the picture? I tried bl for ages and it never does it for me. All the good attributes are there, but it has to be gay. It has to include a male MC if it's a well written thing. Joseimuke hetero romance must be safe, clean, restricted and for lil kids. When you grow older, you dispose of your femaleness and get into a man's shoes to actually talk about serious issues and have sex with hot men. And it's not dictated by some company or society. Fujoshi, ergo most women, choose this themselves by making such games, doujinshi, mangas and so on. Maybe one day some of you will wake up to the horror of this situation.
>>47868579>Sanzen Sekai YuugiOmg I actually weeped a little out of happiness when I read it since it has such a cool-looking fem mc. She gave off a lot of femme fatale vibes, I wish the developers leaned more into it. Are there any otomes with a femme fatale as a protagonist btw? Many trashed br onii-chan but I liked him very much. Otomes need more beefy, rough-looking men, bls alone cannot satiate me. girlsdynamics was based, ppl just couldn't see it back then.
>>47868981kek I forgot about that manga. It was edgy but still somewhat restrained before the gay twist, which came out of nowhere. Author clearly has a misery porn fetish and wants to make all the characters suffer as much as possible though.I'm not sure why you seem to dislike male mistreatment of women when it's BL or general stuff, but apparently want more in otome?
>>47865289>h big bl and bl-pandering stories where an edgy faggot berates, beats up or even rapes women because they happened to be near his lil bro, and calls them pigs, This sounds like a bunch of bullshit. Can someone have this lolcow take her pills?
I just want to see Shimbashi getting jackhammered. He reminds me of FSNs Shinji.
>>47869169Yeah I don't get anon too. I don't know what she actually wants. Well she just wants to shit on bl and fujos lol. But yeah she speaks about misogyny, yet called another anon here a "pussy" for not wanting women raped and abused in her otome games, but freaks out about random women getting killed in a bl? Like girl is fine with olympia soirees endings or piofiores, no misogyny or mistreatment at lol, but a minor homo character that dies asap dares to have unrequited fee fees for a LI?! Unacceptable. Didn't piofiore LIs along with heroine drug and send random women to china as junkie sex slaves along with heroines bff? Lol. Talk about double standards. >>47868981Yes manga like that suck. You have more choices when it comes to manga, just rage drop them and start another one. Shoujo tag is the one you're looking for.Not the first manga sucking ass. But this is not a manga general and shounen mangas target audience aren't women to begin with. Homo stuff usually piss off men more, endings like that I mean, so I'm surprised author pulled that lol. Like Ao no flag author. But ok that one was obviously heading there.
>>47864717Because yanderes never kill random women when it's het? Going apeshit over some mob girl/boy that the love interest smiled at and killing them is bogstandard yandere shit, and a trope I hate. It's not special when it's BL.Sorry people enjoy your husbando getting dicked :^)
>>47861748>>47862214 (me)Add this to the next OP please. I added all the /jp/ archive links too and hopefully I can keep it updated.Past Threads:https://pastebin.com/ZPFAsmMw

Angelique, the first otome game, was released 30 years ago. There's a Neoromance eshop sale to celebrate.Despite their last game being in 2021 they're still working on something unannounced apparently.

>>47870041Thank you for your hard work sis, I'm impressed you got almost all of them! I like reading old archives of /blog/ too and this is exactly what I wanted. As for the missing threads, I dusted out an old HDD with some /blog/ screenshots and got a lead on the post numbers of two of the missing threads, if it's any help/vg/106409817 with a post date: 06/25/15/vg/107546804 with a post date: 06/28/15After that I became autistically interested in something else so the next /blog/ screenshot I have is thread #110. Maybe craftier anons can use this to try and find the threads, either way I think it's good to have the post numbers of the missing threads in the doc even if no live archive has them.

>>47878867Updated the list with this and added the appropriate html file to the download.>>47878792Are these just post numbers or thread OP numbers?
So was anyone able to get Trouble Magia to work on emu?
>>47882846Thread OP numbers. Since I don't have their exact #, "post date" is the date of a random post in the thread.
>>47884529I think the game is just incompatible with emu. I'm more curious whether the issue is specific with this game or all new otome games from now on will not work with emu.
>>47884529>>47887550Did you try with latest yuzu and suyu version?
>1-9do akaza's route and finally be done with orasowa>0skip to shinigami to shoujo for the time being
>>47888230yuzu was suspended by nitendo so it's no longer updated. suzu/sudachi were yuzu fork and they weren't that much different from yuzu's last version. Anyway this game doesn't run with any emu at all.
>>47890891Maybe try ryujinx? Open on github an issue so they can run it?
>>47890906obviously ryujinx was the first one I've tried, it's the only active switch emu we have. It didn't work because the game was just incompatible.
>>47891172There could be something wrong with the rip. I hope it’s that and not some method that will block new games from running on emu. I guess we’ll know for sure when the recent chinese martial arts otome gets ripped.
>>47891172>>47893750I'm sorry not explaining it better. You have to go to their respective discords, ryujinx or sudachi (idk if they have) or just open an issue on github and explain the problem. Like they did with even if tempest. Someone made a version that could run it. Does the game have gameplay btw? That might be an issue usually gameplays might cause issues but they can always get resolved so dw im sure it will run soon, but better open up an issue because not many request unlocalized otome.
>no common route>dialogue choices are only for flavour text or unlocking voice lines>真相 or 闇堕 path split>4 endings for each chara with no explicit good/bad designationsGame system aside, I'm the most excited about this one among the other upcoming titles. It's also nice that I don't hate any of the VAs either.
>>47895916It's refreshing to see something new ngl. I don't like long common routes if too dragging.
So cute. Piofiore really worth playing just for him.
>>47895990Remind me who raped henri his sister or a priest
>>47893750The rip was fine. It's an issue with some new audio renderer added to the latest nitendo firmware. I saw a fix already so ryujinx team will probably officially implement the update in later versions.>I guess we’ll know for sure when the recent chinese martial arts otome gets ripped. This one also requires a workaround to run with emu but not the same issue as Trouble Magia.>>47894532>Like they did with even if tempest. Someone made a version that could run it.EiT works fine with the official Ryujinx version now.
>>47895916I feel like otome's been promoting this one the most recently so maybe they're confident in the content. Still wish they went with a different artsyle though. This looks too generic-fantasy, there's also the same-face and same-expression going on with the characters.
>>47896020Adopted sister raped him
>絶対階級学園 >RikuWhat the hell, I ended up being so smitten by him from just reading his 石ころ route alone. What a tough act to follow for me. After reading Touya's as my second route and not feeling too into him, I'm now kind of afraid that I might be disappointed by everyone else...>>47895990Nicola wasn't that good as a LI imo but I'd bury my face in his hair. Looks so soft and warm.
>>47895990So cute. Lovely. Innocent. And ungroomed.
About emulating the newest Switch Otomate games. It seems like 燃えよ! 乙女道士 ~華遊恋語~ doesn't work either. Though, there is a workaround for Ryujinx reported from the usual place.
Did anons here actually enjoyed piofiore? This and Olympia Soiree are from my favorite, from the relatively new games at least. I saw piofiore was discussed a lot on old blogs when it first came out on vita.
And talking about old blogs, I was reading the 2019 threads and laughed so hard at the diabolik lovers patch leak, kek. Based. Did they translate the other games in the end?
What do you anons think of the shattered souls otome demo?
BPD LI recommendations?
>>47910900I enjoyed it. I'm usually not a big fan of otome where the guy you don't pick suffers a lot, but in Piofiore it felt fitting enough with the premise of the story that didn't really mind as much (though I do still think Nicola got kind of unfairly shafted in nearly every route)
What do we think about poster boys and true routes? It is an outdated idea that should be abandoned? If the choices are in the players' hands then all eoutes should be treated as equal.
>>47910909All DL games are translated except the fandiscs and the last switch game.
>>47913146Routes only exist for those who have “specific tastes” to play the game, so no one gives a shit about them. True routes represent the true vision of the writer.
>>47913146Poster boys just being 'the popular looking one' is fine, but when combined with 'true routes' it depends on how they're executed, I can appreciate the ones that reveal big story info/tie up certain over-arching plots, but I dislike the ones that are too overt to the point where it feels like its the only 'good' ending and all the others are totally inferior. Just kinda ruins any desire for me to replay the game when that happens."True routes" just need to have some reasonable amount of restraint.
>>47913146I don't mind them existing, but I don't like when they mix true routes into character routes. It means the majority of the route is going to be pure plot and the character will barely have any time for themselves
>>47913146I almost always nearly drop the game on "true" routes if it involves the poster boy, I feel like the way most novels try to make the pressure higher in them just doesn't work? Feels like the game is forcing itself to be Important Now and something about it is really killing all the enjoyment. And the true route boys themselves are often so bland while I tend to fall for freaks, so the poster boy routes feel like chewing through cardboard while the game screams at me how important that cardboard is. True routes sometimes pile up too much unnecessary drama for the grand finale effect, I'm guessing, but I just don't care... I like the concept of true routes being either purely exposition because it doesn't destroy any routes for me, or something completely out of the left field. If it tries to mush the usual route routine with exposition and all the other important stuff, I get bored immediately. I also don't think most stories need a true route at all, again it feels forced to me more often than not.
>>47913157The fandiscs recently got translated too.
>>47913146Depends. Recently I played... Kintouka? Where I didn't like the true route for example. Thematically it felt appropriate but I didn't felt like it was more "complete" than the other routes. Nie No Machi on other hand the true route felt like a total wash and goes against the themes of the games. More like a secret route than anything.
>>47913146Depends on execution but I lean towards dislike thanks to playing too much Otomate kusoge where poster boy is true route boy and he both gets a lot of screentime while having his route turned into a low effort plot dump or it gets used to have one "perfect" route where all the plot struggles in other routes get solved effortlessly and doesn't feel earned at all. CxM and Radiant Tale were particularly bad with this. Especially the latter where I actually liked the main guy outside of his own route.
>>47913251I'm still salty about Lucien's route in EiT because of this. So much build-up and he barely got anything in his own route, because the writer decided to use his route as the truth route to solve everything.
>>47913474What if it's a story-heavy game where the writer has a clear vision though? You certainly don't have to like the LI to like the plot. In case of story-heavy game, the MC is usually an actual character and not a self-insert, so you have to consider what you like as a reader is different from what's best for the MC.
Poster boys are necessary from the marketing standpoint. When one person is highlighted more than the rest, you naturally become curious and build up certain expectations.Promotional materials are also more visually appealing and impactful when they concentrate on the key characters instead of diluting attention by featuring all characters equally. Personally I've been drawn to many games just because a poster boy caught my eye in promo art, even if they didn’t end up being my favorite character. This approach is highly effective at getting people interested in a game initially.
>>47917078I think what's best for the mc are the bad endings, the more graphic the better... So the writer's vision matters little to me if it's going to be boring, which it often is considering my preferences. But I feel like you are talking about a game that is heavy with plot throughout (or at least keeps the tension high the entire time), not that focused on romance, and that can work for sure, I was talking about a sudden turn from mostly romance based routes to heavy plot that crushes any romance the route tries to have or so obviously tries to do the craziest thing the writer thought up as a plot-twist at the very end that it feels cheap. I'm trying to think of a single novel where I thought the poster boy's true route was my favorite, and not a single one comes to mind... Actually the ones that keep coming to mind as “that one was fine” are all bl vns, still not my favorites, but there are a few which I didn't consider to be outright bad and even enjoyed. But now I thought of taishou mebiusline and got mad at its true route again... This must be a personal issue of mine, I just can't enjoy them, otome or anything else. And one last thing >You certainly don't have to like the LI to like the plot. I wish there were more plots good enough for me to ignore my distaste for LI writing/personality. I can sit through it, but I'll just erase the true route from my mind afterward in favor of my actual favorite and never think about it again unless it's relevant to the discussion or something similar. I don't even know why every story starts to feel so fake and forced near the end to me, or how to even call this feeling, the stakes (emotional or otherwise) don't feel important? My ability to suspend my disbelief runs out near the end? I don't get the reason myself, so I can't explain it.
>>47917078>What if it's a story-heavy game where the writer has a clear visionWhich blog game is that?
Ooe part 1 releases on the 25th btwhttps://twitter.com/adelta_z1/status/1840723289393778989
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2423320Homicipher is releasing on November 1st, 2024. The demo has been updated as well.
>>47919079>Part 1what does that mean? It's not going to be a complete game?
Happy 21 birthday anons. You're really fun and I'm sure that I'd get along with most of you here irl too (minus the obvious shitposters, retards and tourists). Let's keep blog, and this niche hobby alive.
Why did people call Tengoku Struggle a flop when it sold 10,912 the first week?Meanwhile Cupid Parasite only sold 3,538 and Virche only sold 5,665 yet they're supposed to be massive successes. Am I reading the charts wrong?
>>47919005A lot of BL?
>>47922921Katagiris games always sell well and people like them, because they're good and fun and actually have romance and relationship build up. Not to mention the gap moe. Satois art helps too. It's just the usual shitposters that read twitter users "meh misogyny" reviews the complain instead of forming an opinion of their own.So not surprised about virche not being popular, since it doesn't have a lot of romance and the plot isn't that special either. It sold thanks to Yomis art.Cupid parasite is cute but I guess the art is not to everyone's liking.
>>47923100Shitposters aside, most people aren't aware of the exact sales figures. They just assume that if a game is successful, it would receive fandisc or sequel. TS didn't get a fandisc so people probably got the wrong impression that the game wasn't successful. I've just checked the sales for the recent otomate games and it's not looking good. Their recent game Trouble Magia didn't even make it into the top 30. Since the cut-off figure was around 1,700, it means the game sold less than that. In previous years, even their flop games could sell around 2,000-3,000.
>>47920206I think it just says the game is in two main parts and you can't get to the second without playing through the first.
Anon, don't forget to say goodbye to otome discussion, as faghags won't shut up about their new toodeep4u homo rape game for months once it's out. Adelta and other bl shitstains who lie about being joseimuke can't die any sooner.
東京殺人鬼 学校の怪談 spoilers. Is it normal I liked the brother more than him? I wish he was a route.
>>47923551How are fags stopping you from discussing BL lolcow schizo
>>47922921While I wouldn't call Tengoku Struggle a flop it didn't review as well as those other two titles. First week sales aren't everything. Look at releases like Reine des Fleurs and Shiratsuyu no Kai that sold well thanks to nice art and a concept but are infamous kusoge.
>>47923276Not to be mean, but trouble magia looks like shit. I don't know about the plot, but it doesn't seem to be "that deep" lol. Not saying that it has to be something super special, but at least something that will attract people? I don't know about 9 rip sales, but that one was good. The 野球 idol shit game too. Gacha are to blame for the shitty sales too, but otomate really isn't trying either. They reduced artist costs by hiring sub hackamuras as main artists and sub writers that can't write something endearing enough. They don't want to take risks and experiment, but playing it safe doesn't work too. At least the kemonomimi one looks good. And TS might get one, olympia got one after 4-5 years. Surprised that nil admirari didn't get another one. They still make merch for it.
>>479241999 rip sold 8k, it's done ok. I'm liking Trouble Magia so far, great MC and likeable characters. It's made for Wand of Fortune fans like me I guess. I barely saw any effort from otomate to promote it though, they probably didn't have much expectation for this title.
>>47923276These kinds of figures always make me wish they released numbers for download editions too. I've come across a surprising number of cases where people said they played the toramagi demo and ended up preordering the dl ed.Speaking of demo though, I bet otomate knew it looked like shit and had to push for it in a different way other than the visuals.
Ryujinx died. Time to buy a switch, sisters.
>>47923295So part 2 is like a sequel? Because if it's all the same game then I don't see why they have separate releases.
>>47925747>Releasing new console next year>Already seemed to have released their last "major" Switch game>Anyone interested in emulation would already have a local copy, can run most things fine as isUh, ok? Why did they bother
>>47927031Backward compatibility probably.
>>47927031New switch games are still coming out in 2025. The two recent otomate games cannot even be opened without updates from ryujinx, I imagine it would be the case for their future games too.Nitendo has been going after emulators since forever. Now that they are finally successful in taking down two major players yuzu/ryujinx, this spells doom for the future development of emulators. There will be no major emulator for switch 2 like how yuzu/ryujinx were for switch. Talented devs won't even bother contributing when they know their work can easily be wiped out by nitendo any day.
>>47925747>RyujinxWait whaat
>>47925747Though I'm aware this isn't the only factor I don't understand why emulator devs still use public accounts and discord servers instead of operating anonymously.
>>47930660In the case of open source emulators it helps the work progress faster by working directly with the community.
>>47925747To be fair this is kind of how things were back in the day. Switch emulators were somewhat of an exception in the sense that usually it was much after the lifetime of a console when good working emulation would be released (thinking of PS3 and PSVITA especially). I can only hope that in 5 or so years time someone will resume the work that has been so far. Until then, my backlog is quite large so I have no shortage of games that I can play (and pirate huehue) but I will miss being able to play the new Switch otomes on release.
Yuzu still makes updates though. Ryujinx will do the same under new name. Yuzu for Android now runs most games too. No need to stress and worry.
I don't get what's with the fear mongering when it's Nintendo. They're mainstream as fuck and their fanbase is more autistic than anything else. Someone will do something regardless of what happens, especially since the source code is public. Emulators and their developers being constantly under fire by companies is not new news to anyone if you aren't born yesterday.
>>47930919Nintendo is a special case because their modus operandi is to destroy you financially. When you go to court, there are certain costs that you are obliged to pay, and that is precisely why it is better to avoid that and settle on good terms. The legal issue and its implications with nintendo go beyond what you mention.
>>47930887Yeah switch is pretty much over at this point and the emu can play most games.
If only sony made another console but doubt.
>>47930887>>47931014I guess you guys are out of the loop but neither of the latest Ryujinx or Yuzu releases can play the two new otomate games completely (Otome doushi runs for a bit but it eventually crashed for me maybe 10 hours in the game). It’s very likely none of the otome switch releases going forward will work.
>>47932305It's not the Vita emulator can run all otome either, we just had it too good with yuzu/ryujinx. Time to go back to clear your backlog of old games anon.
Why is it so hard to find links for old otome on pc? Been looking for the DoubleScore games and nothing works.
>>47932305You'll be able to play it eventually, dw anon. Took me 2 years to be able to run Sweet clown, couldn't run Hanayaka Nari bc of the gameplay and an anon saved me by providing saves and also Shinigami to Shoujo still lags a little, but it's just for me I guess bc some run it w/o an issue. And like >>47933216 anon said there are still a lot of games that can't even boot, like Koei ones. At least Moshikami is playable now, that took years too.
>>47933216This is me >>47930838 so yes, I agree. Luckily I have a PSP and PSVITA with immense backlogs in both along with PC games of BL stragglers I still haven’t played and a lot of eroge so I’m pretty much set for a long time. I’m lacking more in time than in games.>>47933487Oh trust me, I don’t think emulation, Switch or not, can ever be crushed out. I’m more worried about Denuvo coming to Switch1/2 games than Switch1/2 emulation dying entirely. When Denuvo comes to Switch we’re pretty much guaranteed to be fucked if Otomate and other Switch otome publishers decide to use it, but judging by the cost for licensing it on PC games we might be safe for now.
>>47933583Forgive me for my ignorance anon, but what is Denuvo and why would it prevent us from emulating switch games?
>>47933583Maybe some best-sellers will have that kind of protection but there's no chance otomate or any otome company can even afford Denuvo, it's just too expensive.
>>47933687It's a type of DRM that's near impossible to crack.
>>47933687Expensive and strong drm used in new AAA pc games. It's made pirating new releases impossible >>47933774This, no small company will use it with how expensive it is
>>47933784>>47933959Thank you for explaining! But yeah if it's that expensive it's not worth for them since they don't have more than 10k sales. A game like Assassins Creed for sure. But if Switch 2 is going to have another system (doubt) that still allows you to play old switch games, well now that would be a problem.
It's out!
>Ryujinx's final update was actually a fix for Trouble MagiaAlight guess I'm playing this game next to honor their last effort.
>>47934221Happy for you anon, your problem got easily resolved. Please do tell us how is the game when you move more into it!
>>47934072please don't have horrible MTL translation, I'm begging
Otomate's kemonomimi game is already out? That's like their third release within one month. What a weird release schedule, they don't even have anything left to release this year.
>>47924199>Not to be mean, but trouble magia looks like shit.Trouble Magia is getting great reviews from what I've seen.Meanwhile Otomate's other new title Moeyo is getting bashed because it's too short and rushed.
>>47935878Right? They don't release games for months and before the year ends they release 3-5 games lol I don't get them. Makes sense that their sales are low who can spend so much money in such a short time?>>47935937Shouldn't judge a book by it's cover is real. And now moeyo looks so cute on the other hand.
>>47935995>moeyo looks so cute on the other hand.Well most people pre-ordered because of the cute art, what they got was a short game sold at full price, no wonder they're pissed. The reviews praise the artwork and UI design as its strongest point, however, the scenario is too short and simple. Apparently it only takes about 5 hours to complete the first playthrough including the common route. The whole game takes place within a few days, so you don't really get the chance to grow attached to the characters. It's the opposite for Trouble Magia where I see reviews praising the scenario and characters. This one seems well-balanced in story and romance even if the story is not unique. Some are hoping for a FD already.
>>47936226Good job for trouble magia, I might try it later since it can now run on ryujinx. But moeyo lol 5hrs only and 60$? Nah that's rip off. I've played otomate psp games with short routes before, but they had like 8 or 9 LIs.
>>479363695h for common route and one character route so I guess the full game can be done in 10-15h.I personally don't mind a short simple game as it can be used as a nice break between heavy games. However, selling this at full price is insane.
>>47936543This was literally the length of 9RIP, Gensou enchante and like every other otomate game I played though lol. Common routes are usually 5 hours tops and character routes are a few hours longer. The reason those games are so long is because there’s 7-8 LIs.
>>47936851Common route in Moeyo was really short, took me less than 1h and I'm not a fast reader. There was no choice and you got to pick a guy's route once the common route's over. If you're a fast reader than you can probably complete the whole game in less than 10h for sure.
I hate long common routes just get to the point game lol.
>>47937251Same kek
>>47937251For me it depends on the game. If the game is more SoL with enjoyable interactions between characters then the common route is actually the best part. That's the only time all characters get to interact with each other. Once you go into a specific route the other LI just magically disappear.
>>47937251I enjoyed JJ common route a lot, despite it being LONG and necessary to do for every route, I just wish you could skip gameplay parts on subsequent playthroughs
>>47937251One of the worst common routes I've seen was unskippable text you had to go through whenever you pick a different LI. It's mostly just the same shit.
>>47937623I didn't mind having to redo the gameplay stuff much, but I did wish they let you pick the highest difficulty for the songs. The difficulty you're locked to in the story is a bit too simpleOtherwise the common route is pretty good, not only entertaining in itself but it also does a good job setting up natural threads for the eventual branches and makes sure to pepper content for individual characters throughout
>>47937623Kek I'm literally procrastinating finishing it off now because I'd have to redo ALL the performances two more times before I'm done...
Damn, Trouble Magia and Otome Doushi both work perfectly on Ryujinx now and with agen on top of that. If the people who worked on making this possible check this thread: thank you, you guys are the real ones. Really appreciate all the work you guys do.
>>47938368How about moeyo anon?
Togo is working on a new bl game.
>>47937251The common route was my favorite part of Kintouka, legit felt like a whole ass novel. I think they are the best when they try to tell a story rather than pick x boy 10 times to get to his route.
>>47935871I took a peek and its another MTL slop. It's disappointing that using MTL for official releases are getting more frequent when you look at the recent releases.
>>47947047This sucks. I can mtl it myself if I want to imagine paying for it though.
>>47947107It's actually a new official Japanese release for Switch & Steam, English and Chinese are only added as an after-thought. It seems that only official localizations get non-MTL nowadays.
Which bl/otome game has your favorite younger LI, anons?
>>47952641I like Nil admiraris Hisui, I find him really cute. Katagiri writes really cute younger LI tropes. Low self esteem, needy and pouty when they're jealous. In bl, not a LI but mc, I like Shingakkous Michael. He's seke so he tops and bottoms for the older LIs, only one is same age as him.
>>47953031I'm thinking of trying out olysoi, is the younger LI in that one good too?
>>47953369Tokisada is cutie too. He's cuter than Hisui personality wise, but I like Hisuis better. Bob cuts are my weakness. But yeah go for Olysoi anon. Both Nil and Olysoi have gap moe cutie LIs.
>>47953369Tokisada is super cute, even though they kinda push the 'younger LI' angle a lot even though he's only like, a year younger than the main character. And there's Himuka but I guess he's more of a shota-jiji
I hope this guy's route is more interesting in term of romance. The base mystery and narrative are really cool though, enough for me to continue. There's some some kind of loop/simulation going on?
>>47955501He has the most normal romance.
>>47955501Who is that?
>>47955573 The game? 東京殺人鬼 学校の怪談
>>47955604Thanks anon I might check it out. I don't normally read BL however I found this guy >>47955501 quite attractive.
>>47935871It's even worse than mtl I fear
>>47964114They’re equally shit
>>47964114This sucks. Well at least it allows you to switch to JP.
>>47964114What translation tool are you using anon?
What takuyo game should I start with?
>>47974192Verche
Is archive.org dead wtf. They had 5ch and 2ch otome and bl dj collection there. We can't have anything.
>>47978939It's currently under DDOS attack
( 東京殺人鬼 学校の怪談)This game has some pretty good bad endings. It reminds me off those sci-fi games like 999 in term of execution.
https://kurosawarinko.tumblr.com/post/763947517914284032/%E5%A4%A7%E7%A9%A2%E5%BF%83%E5%BE%97?Damn. Looks like Ooe is going to have a proper investigation game part too, I'm done for since I'm retarded (even though it promises there are obvious hints).
>>47980445Dw anon it's going to be like Kara no shoujo probably. Also walkthroughs exist for that reason. >>47974192Sweet clown or Shinigami to Shoujo, both don't matter. Getsuei no kusari is hard for a first game.
I wish Ooe had one or two supporting female characters though. Since it's plotge there's no need to make everyone gay.
>>47981204Hard in what sense? I’ve read hundreds of vn and novels in japanese so language difficulty doesn’t matter to me.Has anyone read anything else by takuyo that isn’t one of these 3 games? I see these talked about all the time but I see they have a very extensive catalog.
>>47985715I read https://vndb.org/v3106 recently, it's okay if you're looking for light-hearted school romance with some comedy. I think Takuyo's early works are all like that.
>>47985715just choose one that catches your interest and read it then?
>>47986557I see, thanks for the input. I was under the impression that takuyo stories/characters tended to be darker or deal with darker themes so a bit surprised to hear that their earlier stuff really is just as light hearted and fluffy as the vndb pages suggested.>>47987149I mean yes, of course I could do this but if I wanted to do this why would I even post at all? The intent of my post was to feel around for recommendations and other peoples’ input on their catalog so suggesting I simply picking any title by appearance as if I’m incapable of making this decision myself misses the point.
>>47985715>hard in what senseBoth language and plot. It's a long game 60+ hrs and has a fd nearly 30hrs afterwards. But putting language aside, it's a heavy political game and can get dragging. A lot of political larp and stuff that you know could get cut down half. It's still a great game though but it might tire you for a first game. The heroine is amazing and I love the art. Same artist worked on sweet clown btw.
>>47987202Samefag, these 3 i suggested to you were the dark ones. The rest are cute and fun. Princess series are classic and kaeru batake. I think darker ones fit them more though and they do better.
Oh hey I was thinking of reading sweet clown in some more time as well. It would be cool to do some blogposting here, but I don't know if my impressions will be appreciated since I'm pretty much a newfag still with regards to otomege/blge
>>47987855I'm playing eyepatch shotas route atm. Maybe I should join you too when you start blogposting anon.
>>47987855I read too slow and my JP is still pretty shit so I can't give out impressions as much as I like to, but I like seeing people talk about the games they're playing regardless. Sometimes it feels like it's the same few people talking so more varied commentary from newbies would be nice to see.
>>47987869That would be cool! could probably start next week...right now I'm reading a doujinge and I'm taking my time because I'm really enjoying the prose in some passages being a title that puts a lot of emphasis on 雰囲気>>47987874Yeah, I've played some more famous titles like shinigami to shoujo or virche. I joked a lot with the “take a shot every time you read この国” but I really enjoyed it. I've been interested for quite some time in reading some more by takuyo so it would be fun to share the experience
Do you guys change your vndb theme or use the default one? I'm still looking for that perfect background image.
>>47990430I've used the Saya theme for the longest time ever out of sheer laziness and feeling reluctant to use a theme with a VN I haven't read yet. Maybe one day I'll change it to something better.
>>47991757Yeah their default options are all old vns from decades ago and probably haven't been updated since the website was created. I get bored easily so I change my background quite often. However I'm also lazy, so I just use pretty CGs instead of making a custom wallpaper.
i'm new and i'm just starting to get into otome, does anyone have recs for ones with uhhh...considerable amounts of sex?
>>47990430I use the gekkou no carnevale one because I like its colour palette the most.
Nitrofag anons that post here, do you like nitro bls or not? Or never tried them.
>>47995570I absolutely loved all the danseimuke chuunige I read from Nitro but it's hard to say I cared about their BL. I don't know, maybe I'll try one of their BL games again once I get better at reading JP. I didn't think any of the N+C characters I read about were as charming when I read them in English.
Why do they look the same
>>48001934N+'s strong points have always been their settings and atmosphere imo. The same applies to their chuunige and BL. The characters are an extension of the settings, so they don't make the characters lovable in their edgy works.
>>47995570It's worth checking out, if you like their edgy galge then their BL are quite similar.
>>48002964They look like Voltage's usual mobile slop designs that's why. It's a shame since EiT had good designs. Maybe working on 3 games at once drained their budget.
>>48002978>setting and atmosphere Yeah, I figured that might have been the case. The English translations, especially SD, kinda ruins those games for me in that regard.Muramasa was an outlier in terms of Nitro+ chuunige since the characters in that one were pretty lovable for the most part.>>48002964Looks pretty cheap and very reminiscent of their recycled mobage designs. I'm still looking forward to this game regardless, though. Hope it turns out decent.
>>48002978Nah the characters in Nitro danseimuke are usually just better than the ones in N+C
>>47995570I have a soft spot for at least some of them. Togainu was my first blvn and Sweet Pool is exactly my favorite type of atmosphere/aesthetic even after all these years. But DMMD and Aoba specifically are visually repulsive to me and I never played Lamento or Slow Damage.
>>48006742This game is definitely fun to discuss with others.
(repost cuz i forgot to spoiler image)holy shit these two are infuriating (in a good way)they better suffer horribly in some route or else the writer is a hack>>48006767i basically just started but it seems entertaining as hell so far. love it when characters are just unrepentantly little shits like they are. no idea how their routes will be as LIs because they are awful (and incredibly gay in auger's case) and redeeming them would be a disservice
>>47940703What's it about
>>48006808Do you know if the vita version of BWS is censored or missing stuff? The psvita version has an English patch that's why I got it instead but I prefer playing on a console it's comfier but if it's censored ill play the pc one instead.
>>48008136sorry i have no idea but vndb doesn’t mention any differences. last hope was also released exclusively on console so i doubt there was censorship unless last hope was released censored
>>47866106Women are the smarter gender after all.
bump
why is she so hot? 3/4 of the main cast don't compare
>>48027051BUCKERS
>>48008136Vita version changes the brother to NBR and censors some gory CGs, from what I’ve heard others say.
Why do the side characters look way more interesting than the mains though? Especially the girls.
>>48028245Did they just... decide not include this guy in the picture because he's not a vampire hunter?
>>48028245I was just about to ask in here, are the 4 guys the only LIs? Not just the other background boys but even the girls look like they have more effort put into their design over the first two dudes introduced. I like >>48028597 though
>>48028597Well I it's a team poster, it would be weird for the vampire guy to pose with the hunters.Maybe they will give us another poster with the vampire side later.
>>48028245I remember there being similar reactions to the EiT cast when they were announced. Maybe the artist just doesn’t like flashy boys.
>>48028807>EiTNot really. Ish is the best design however the mains in EiT still look okay. They have distinct appearances, with variations in hair, eye shapes, facial expressions and clothing that set them apart from each other... Same cannot be said about these vampire dudes except the white hair one.
>>48028971When will Eguchi and Namikawa fuck off from otome god damn
>>48027051>putting more effort into your female characters over the LIsOtome moment
3.5+ years since Slow Damage and not even an announcement of an announcement of a new game from n+c. They really should start looking for a second writer.
>>48029646Their parent company Nitro+ got bought out so it's likely they won't even release another vn in future.
>>48028095I only played the Vita version so idk about the cgs but Nesso is still Fiona’s half brother so whoever told you that is full of shit.
>>48029759The new parent company said they would like to see more frequent releases from Nitro+ though.
>>48029790What they say they want is completely irrelevant because in the years they’ve been bought all they’ve done is tease a shitty looking Nier Automata rip off that doesn’t even look to be a vn and gachashit. Nitro+ is most likely dead for good since if you’ve been keeping up with modern otaku culture you’d know that eroge is no longer the premium medium for writers especially new ones looking to write darker and less mainstream stories.
>>48029790Nitro+ is as good as dead since the main writers all left the company. N+C might still have a chance though. Honestly in this business people do it out of passion more than anything. As long as the writers and artists remain with the company then they will be able to continue in future.

>>48035453It's funny how their next game literally pushes two titty monsters onto the main character. It gets so bad, the main character gives more shit about those annoying twats more than his own friends.
>>48035645Yeah that one is my least favorite. I much prefer the cast of the 2nd game NG over the 1st & 3rd games. Hopefully they will bring back the 2nd game cast if they ever make another game for this series.
she just keeps winning lol
>>48046551I didn't even realize it was her until seeing the staff announcement. How does her art keep getting uglier.
>>48046551>multicolored hairtired of this meme
>>48046628i dont trust you people on art opinions considering you think the mobile tier voltage shit is good
>>48046704If you think that looks good you're in no position to talk shit about art opinions.
>>48046737its better then the slop you guys post
>>48046551As ugly as the voltage vampire slop and yats dorito chins. Only satoi and yomi are the only good artists left in this genre.Mobage have better art nowadays, see cybird.
>>48046628I think the main problem with her is that all her guys are super ugly.
everyone here is a lesbian anyway who cares how they look
>>48046737It's not technically bad art, it just has middling appeal. Boring style, mediocre designsBusiness as usual for otome essentially
>>48046768Designs aside she's always had a problem with inconsistent anatomy with her strong points being shading(especially with hair)and textures. The nicest her art has been is when she's used muted tones so this already looking like a clusterfuck of colors is not promising
i hate how lanky the fingers are
>>48046551Ehh, I like it.
>>48046551>orange and blue hair>asymmetrical patterned devil horns>blue archive haloSomeone put this guy out of his misery.
it'll still sell well and blog will seethe eternally
>>48046830>shading and texturesFeels like this is the biggest selling point for a lot of otome artists, it's all about the coloring. Hanamura is mediocre in everything besides that but even then her coloring style isn't even much different from other artists. I think the color scheme for that new game in particular is vtuber level vomit. That seems like that's just the trend for a lot of things now, though. Even fucking has BA halos as the other anon mentioned lmao
i cant belive blue archive invented angels
Hiiro no Kakera's music is top-tier. The OP is so good that I actually let it play every time I open the game. The game itself is a bit weird though. I can tell it was made a long time ago. Hope it gets better by the end.
>>48046551Ah the tracing queen managed to suck old man dick and find a new work, good for her queen
>>48046551I liked her art in Amnesia, minus the double elbows. Cxm and this looks shit. And can fucking broccoli do something about dolce vita.
Mobage been getting nice art and good looking LIs, while visual novels are getting slobs that even AI can do.
Big studio shit all looks the same anyway, SOVLful art is only to be found in doujins.
>>48046551I kinda like her art there, but I'm more interested in knowing who's gonna write the story.
>>48046976According to the game's synopsis the setting is about virtual world so she did well then.
More vns NEED that one function where you can save any voice line during the game and then replay it any time you want I need that function in every vn with voice acting it should be fucking mandatory
>>48048357Fuck off jealous hag. 90 percent of people like her art. Go dick ride your lying Schizophrenic retard yuiga who was called out in court and has been blacklisted
Both yuiga and hackanura are overrated talentless schizos along with their retarded fans. Idk why you schizos keep shilling their shitty art here nobody cares and her game won't sell more than 2k copies unless it gets localized and then again it won't be more than 4k. Nobody cares. Keep talking to walls.
Yaaaaawwwwnnnn slop slob shitWake me up when they make picre couple in bl or otome. A LI/MC like Minho.
Wake me up when they make an otome where I can beat the living shit out of fictional men to live out my chuuni lizard brain fantasies. hot guy plane 擬人化 game never
>>48049319Is there a more complete list of this or what? I only know Pil/Daisy^2 and Choudoku (non-R18) that does this. The voice collection feature is unbelievably useful.
>>48049906This face lives rent free in my brain sis.
I don't even check this place that much because there are just no new releases that interests me but Collar x Malice is my favorite otome followed by Under The Moon so I'll take the new one with Hanamura and that one sfaff member from the og CxM team. What actually has me waiting real bad is good smile not showing the CxM nendoroids
>>48029646All we have so far is this tweet by a staff member which might not mean anything https://x.com/digitarou/status/1761631195442659502Also anyone please correct me if I'm wrong but I swear I read that Fuchii was no longer the only writer for N+C sometime after DMMD came out. Again, my memory is fuzzy so I may be wrong and it was purely speculation or a rumor, but I'd like to know if I'm not the only one who recalls anything similar. Either way, I doubt I would buy their next release if it has more underground/illegal fights shit and drugs. It became stale very fast for me.
>>48049981Taishou Mebiusline has it too from what I remember
>>48049981parade games have this too

>>48050501This reminds me once again that there are a couple very vocal contrarians in here with opinions that can safely be discarded because they are rooted not in logic but in mental illness and exist solely for contrarianism
>>48048576everything about this looks like shit tho? did you upload the wrong image??
>>48050494Because piofiore is a popular game and they love riri. Can't say the same about hanamura. She was shat hard on twitter last year drawing an art for genshit and people were accusing her of tracing again lol. The company was shat on too, for hiring her too but chinese are known hacks so didn't give a fuck. Idc about the retarded tracing drama, just saying that her art and yuigas aren't that special to deserve so much attention and debates. If it was satoi vs yomi it'd make sense since both are accomplished artists and know what proportions are.
>>48050396>screenshots>表示ボイスセーフ>表示ボイス再生Sweet, thanks for pointing that out. Sounds like a perfect game for learning more complicated JP so I'm putting that higher on my list for sure.>>48050487Oh right, I completely forgot about those games. It's been so many years. Thanks anon.
>>48050677If I remember correctly the ones vocally shitting on Hanamura were westerns genshin fans that didn't even know about either her or Yuiga and acted like apes because that is what they do. I think this game will sell perfectly fine just thanks to how well received Uchronia was.
>>48050710It was trending on jp Twitter (in my case) but I'm not surprised at the eop genshit fans joined in like retards. I don't care whether it sells or not because they aren't planning to fund dolce vita so broccoli can burn all they can. They deserve her. It gets funnier because schizo yuiga said that the schizo hack traced from riri too lol. If riri leaves we'll know if that is true kek.
>>48050743Dolce Vita is just a different mess and I just gave up like broccoli wants us at this point.
>>48050750I haven't played the app but they're making quite a lot. I don't know anything about it though if it has romance or not. Heavens are there though.
>>48050797Sadly I think that the gacha doing well gives them more room to ignore dolce vita since the gacha is already getting the utapri bucks.
This Hanamura clitsucker is quite the fanatic huh
>>48051050Basically got lonely when the thread was dead as fuck so he's been starved for attention even though no one is giving enough fucks about his low effort shitposting.
I wouldn't be surprised if Dolce Vita gets cancelled. Live Emotion doesn't even sell that much, it's half as much as Ensemble Stars/Idolish Seven/Twisted Wonderland/even that literal AIslop Tokyo Debunker. It got panned for the cheap 3D models and them adding Haruka (as a faceless protagonist) made fujo players mad because Utapri is that far removed from otome at this point.
>>48049319There's a tag on vndb for this but not sure if everything is taggedhttps://vndb.org/g2358
>>48051202I can't find it but according to sensor tower they made A LOT. Surprised that they even bother with console games anymore. Shame, I loved the series so much and seeing it reduced to that aches my heart. Heavens boys are so much more fun.
:(
>>48051364something about that character design looks super uncanny.
>>48051202Utapri started removing itself from being otome pretty early in the fandiscs with the "rivalry" routes with Haruka watching the guys be bros totally no homos.
>>48050494Don't mind that schizo, both Amnesia and CxM were among the most popular games for otomate.
Is the hanamura cuck the same lolcow schizo that seethed about homos and fujos a few threads ago or a different schizo?
>>48051682>popular enough to release a shitty low budget movie instead of the promised animeSure
>>48051578Do yume care about the blank self-insert that much? Less time spent on her and more time spent on the guys' interactions sounds like a win to me.
>>48051717Otomate is broke nowadays because they don't make hits like Amnesia and CxM no more.
>>48050501Idk if first weeks sale mean much, Tengoku Stuggle sold more first week than Virche and Cupid Parasite combined, however we know it didn't end up as successful overall. You can also look at amazon jp, check for the numbers of reviews and average ratings, they can tell alot.
>>48051727I don't selfinsert and I never said the routes were bad but it is bad when you are selling a romancing game where you barely get romance or nothing. Said routes are not what left utapri in the current state and it's mainly broccoli being idiotic with it.
>>48051717The movies released years after the peak of CxM popularity and not only that but you can't compare the budget back then to what otomate has been getting thanks to constant bland or plain bad releases. Add that adaptations for popular otomate titles were hot garbage(remember the long wait for the code:realize anime? do you even remember we had a crappy nil admirari anime? norn9?)
>>48051921VN adaptations have almost always been bad. Like literally every single one of them, I can’t even think of a single one that was serviceable. Maybe Clannad after story. Why is this even part of your argument, at least come up with something that makes sense.
>>48052067unlimited blade works. HF and fate route both sucked ass
>>48051748I personally think it matters. It's normally thought to be when the biggest bulk of sales happen, and sales are a significant indicator of success for companies. Precisely why companies start promoting their games way before release and why they lock proper epilogues or steamier scenes behind shop bonuses, leading people to buy multiple copies. You should check out mercari on release week when there's load of extra copies being sold for cheaper in hopes to get rid of them faster.Positive reception isn't going to lead to a drastic increase in meaningful sales either as long as there's an active market for used products. Especially true for visual novel formats that don't have much replayability. Also Tengoku Struggle still shows up on events so I have a hard time believing that otomate thinks it wasn't successful.
>>48051303Quite a few games on my wishlist that I have not looked in yet have that function as it turns out, thank you
>>48052250We do not have the numbers for digital sales, when it comes to physical sales hardcore fans pre-ordered based on hype and to support their favorite artists & VAs, so attractive art & popular cast tend to carry first week's physical sales. Whenever the game is truly popular depends on good WOM after first week. I already gave an example, Tengoku Struggle sold more than 10k in physical sales first week which is considered a lot, however it's still not seen as very successful, not a lot of merch and no FD.
>>48051907I meant yume in general, it's not the first time I've heard of yume talking about being betrayed by UtaPri series because it stopped being pure otome. Guess I just don't understand the purist mentality, even if it doesn't have typical otome romance it's still content created for the female audience so what's the fuss.
>>48052067What's there to argue anon, it's fact that Amnesia & CxM were successful. Only people living in an alternative reality would deny something this obvious. Licobits's new game will turn out to be a success as well and I can't wait to see you go on a denial rant then.
>>48052438imagine if a bl series added a female mc to romance the guys. Its the same thingFujos would be sending death threats if it was the other way around
>>48050501Oh yeah, I forgot Honey Vibes existed. Has anyone here tried it or heard anything about it?
>>48052067Then why bother bringing up the CxM shit movies if aaaall VN adaptations suck? Which is not true since there are good adaptations out there just not for otome games. This place has to be the only place that lives in eternal denial that Amnesia and CxM were part of the biggest otomate titles but that wouldn't have saved the movies from being hot garbage so the person bringing them in the first place was the person with an argument that doesn't hold up.And some hyperfixated autist that cannot let go will probably scream "hackamura schizos defending the hack" when all that is being said that controversy or not 2 of the titles she worked in were some of the most popular otomate's title and that litcobyts one won't be an absolute flop just because the previous title gave them plenty of good rep.
>>48052556It's not like they added a male mc to romance the guys in utapri so what kind of comparison is that
>>48052438An otome without romance is not otome
The problem with uta no pri was removing an already established heroine. Like she never existed.
>>48053042Not that anon, but I don't think an FD that is entirely about a female side-character bonding with the LIs would fare any better. An FD that turns a BL game into a totally no homo male friendship game might not trigger that many death threats but it wouldn't be warmly received for sure.
>>47870039I don't care if he kills another man over the MC. I hate it when it's a women getting killed
>>48049906>>48050047I don't wanna go too off-topic but thanks for sharing those two pics! I found the manhwa and binged the whole BL side story. What an amazing read from start to finish, ty for the unintentional rec. I will also be on the lookout for a Minho-like character too now.
>>48055916Glad you liked it sis! I recommend the main series too, sadistic beauty. Minho miserably suffers there too. There's lore behind the series, that Minho is based on writers ex kek. He's perfect and I would kill for a LI like him. As for schizos, there are enough out there, in both bl and otome. But a cutie like Minho? No, he's the best. The closest i could find to Minho, is the cutie from Codename Anastasia. Not as close still, but both he and Minho get schizos obsessed with them and will do anything to get them kek. Sorry for going off topic too. Maybe someone can recommend a LI as close to them as possible, who knows. (doubt)
>>48052732I've only done one route so far and have been avoiding reviews in case I get spoiled. It's a nice game for cute sugary situational scenes but the main plot seems to be ignored for the most part. Like for the route I did, there was no proper closure for the main plot at all, not that the main plot is that significant or anything either. All the bad ends were basically copypasted too, but that could've been due to the theme of the route. There was also a part of the route that made mc feel a bit sidelined, but I wonder how it'll be in other routes.
>>47995020i was not aware of the R18 otome meme when i posted this, i'm sorry
>>48056719R18 otome exist, there are just not many of them especially recently. You can find them at https://vndb.org/g542?f=033gjaN18Nh014owin&fil=&l=&m=0&p=1&s=24x
>>48057832thank you! i was kinda struggling with vndb's search before but this is what i was looking for, it's not over for hornysisters...
