Post Crossover fanart or ideas involving TouhouUnrelated to this pic, but I've had an idea involving a 2hu/JJK crossover if I ever got the motivation to write it would be having Yuji and Choso vs Jo'on and Shion at one pointThis is based mostly on five things>Both are sets of siblings were the younger light haired one is mainly a brawler while the older dark haired one has more exotic stuff>"The Worst Siblings in History vs the Best Siblings of Today">Jo'on telling Yuji "You sure have a reliable big brother there, my big sister is pretty useless in comparison, mind if we switch them?" before using Possession Exchange>Choso managing to overcome through the power of sibling love to not hurt his younger brother again and taking out Shion in the process>Ending in a 1v1 brawl between Yuji and Jo'on
I had a super mundane crossover idea with Initial D, cause of the semi-official arcade crossover, where you'd get Reimu tossed outside the barrier and have her need to be road-tripped back near to Yatsugstake. Hijinks ensue.
>>48174343OP, your idea is fun, your taste in manga is bad, and your use of the quote function is just plain wrong. Still a nice thread, but do better next time.
>>48174391Another idea I had was Kaguya and Mokou remembering Sukuna as just an upstart from the Heian Era
>>48174848I don't know a lot about JJK. Do you think anyone in Gensokyo would feel threatened by Sukuna's actions? Could they help Sukuna's defeat? I genuinely know next to nothing about it.
Is this a cool art thread or a crack art thread?
>>48174376
I just was thinking about making a thread like this
Enter.
>>48174914Sykuna and Byakuren are an obvious match up, both of them are shitty Buddhists. One of them a human who threw away humanity for power and immortality and eventually became a saint-like demon the other a human who reveals in his humanity and became a demon-like saint.Additionally they would both be alive during the same time and both be sealed for a thousand years only to emerge as an idol of worship, although unlike Byakuren Sykuna doesn't care about being worshiped at all.
>>48174343Theres a dude in the OC thread that makes a lot of stuff like this with Megaman and Kingdom Hearts, he aint exactly good, but he tries, if his drawings were better I would save them and post them.
>>48176056And unlike Sukuna Byakuren doesn't go around killing and eating people for fun
>>48176056Seiga and Kenjaku are old friends

>>48174343Seija is a shoe in for a member of the Disaster Curses, she's a misanthropic youkai obsessed with overthrowing the current orderAlthough the Disaster Curses are more ideologically motivated towards creating a world where curses rule while Seija is closer to Mahito in that she's just expressing her nature as a creature that exists in opposition to the current order.
>>48174343Raymoo using Moosotensei
I also got the idea of Sakuya and Youmu lining up to fight Uraume if Hakari dies because of their pride as servantsYou know, since Uraume is Sukuna's cook

Only because Doomguy would fucking despise everything about the setting and characters, and you could put him in basically any scenario or location and he’d start swingingHell? Obviously Gensokyo? It’s very existence and what they do to the villagers would rile him up Heaven? Would despise the fact they close it off to everyone and how they treat mortals in generalLunar Capital: Haters of humanity and they’re mean to the bunnies? it’s a double punch of hatred He’d probably get along with like… Junko from a mutual understanding of loss and rage, but it be interesting merely in how much he’d escalate every encounter.
>>48186595Somebody started writing about Doom Guy in Gensokyo last year but stopped two chapters in, writefagging really is dead on JP.
>>48186622Not everyone has the drive to write, and those who have dont have the balls to post it (me).
>>48186622I don’t really blame them because it would be a big ass story and you gotta write it in a way that doesn’t come across as edgy spite. Or 30 chapters of hate sex

>>48176061If that's that's him then he mogs me in folds and hair
>>48187389Isn't that the point of the crossover in the first place? Doomguy comes in and kills everyone because Youkai and all the characters in the series are evil and undeserving of life. That just the sort of grimdark setting Touhou is, even Warhammer 40K is brighter since it actually has heroic characters.

>>48186191Nice.
>>48186622Yeah I dropped the ball and honestly have barely started with chapter three. But seeing other people even if it’s just a few express interest in this crossover and mine specifically is motivating in its own right.>>48187027Post it. Nao. >>48187389Among not wanting to make the Slayer a 1-dimensional grimderp character, figuring out powerscaling without spellcard rules is a hurdle. It’s even one of the reasons why I kind of stalled out on the third chapter since he was set to fight Meiling as a more serious combatant versus stage one goobers like Rumia or Wriggle that would allow him to better cut his teeth on and demonstrate the danger of the locals.
>>48191128I dont really have anything to post, I just had an idea about a more serious conflict in Gensokyo and that spiraled out of control into becoming a series of short stories about an outsider surviving in Gensokyo, kind of self insert but not really.
>>48194228I’m honestly kind of interested in the concept. Having a more grounded view, and one from an Outsider, is something I like and ideas about a horror game where you’re a spirited away human based on something like that is intriguing specifically. Although seeing more from a Villagers perspective is something I would like too on a related note.Where do you think they/you would be inserted into first? The Road of Reconsideration is the typical yet dangerous start. Besides mere survival and maybe escape as the ultimate objective, can you envision other goals as they try to make it through Gensokyo?
>>48194673>Where do you think they/you would be inserted into first? To be honest I dont really know of other places where the barrier is jank other than Muenzuka. In order for Outsider (thats the name he chooses to give people, because plot reasons) to survive the first hours I decided to bend the rules a bit and allow more than one person to be spirited away at the same time, that way Outsider would see and have an idea that cute girl = certain death and he wouldnt die to Medicine the moment he arrived in the swamp, because his group already did that from him. Im also researching the limits of Yukaris powers since she supposedly kidnaps people shes interested in, for some reason. That way I could potentially have an outsider that is not japanese, with a set of skills that the average Takeshi wouldnt have, because, again, plot reasons.>Besides mere survival and maybe escape as the ultimate objective, can you envision other goals as they try to make it through Gensokyo?I think the final objective would be to live, not to survive, acquire enough knowledge and power to more or less having a "normal" life in there, Im a fightfag, but I would stir the plot to a more "diplomatic" and "information heavy approach"; things like Outsider first understanding what is and what isnt a threat, then understanding who is "human" and whos "not human", later knowing places of interest and characters that could be potentially be useful to him. Im thinking in him stumbling upon Rinnosukes shop and during the first months not understanding anything due to language barrier, and later ending up in the SDM after finding Sakuya talking something non japanese with Remilia and getting a job there to get some information, ending with Kosuzu, who would help him to get along with Keine, who would teach him japanese to understand Kourin, that way having a way to negotiate some magical artifacts with him, having a way to properly stand his ground against Youkai.A lot of hoops I know, but I have always wanted to see a more grounded story focusing less on the flashy parts of the setting and more on the "less flashy" parts, so to speak.
>>48194800>OutsiderBetter than Anon E. Miss or the like. It allows for others to maybe step into their shoes even better without a hard name. Perhaps it could even be written as a small mystery as to who they’re really called? Having others gapped in could help to illustrate the dangers they’ll face too, youkai or otherwise. Maybe even help to motivate our protagonist to get back at them for another thing? I’m with you on the fightan as well considering what I’m aiming for with my own bit. Even more so but I love a good grounded tale with an underdog like what you’re gunning for. You seem to have a good flow idea and direction so far but going back to Yukari, I would imagine she would see Outsider’s rise as a pending danger to her balanced ecosystem. So perhaps take that issue into consideration as you write her and her interactions and activities, both direct and indirect. All in all I like what you’re envisioning and hope to even see something from you at some point!
>>48188648I think it be more interesting if he ran into people that he disagreed with but aren’t necessarily bad guys and either simply filling their place or at least regretful for what they are. He showed sympathy towards the Betrayer and he literally got all his friends killed… so he’s not impossible to reason with. Him and Yukari would be cool seeing how they’re both humans ascending to beings of immense power but Yukari wants to preserve gods and monsters and Doomguy wants to dismantle everything.
>>48195184I was thinking is just revealing how are they called in the prologue, but the approach you propose might be better, having something be a mystery for the characters but not the readers might be annoying if not executed correctly.>I would imagine she would see Outsider’s rise as a pending danger to her balanced ecosystem. So perhaps take that issue into consideration as you write her and her interactions and activities, both direct and indirect. To be honest I kind of already thought of that, Outsider knows that sticking out is bad, be it because he learned that lesson on the outside world, presumably because he comes from a bad country (or even Japan, sticking out in that society is a bad thing too) or because someone from his group died because of it, I already wanted the story to be more "sneaky" or "low profile", one of the set pieces I had in mind was Marisa finding his refuge in a far away place, going back to Reimu to inform, and when they come back the refuge is ravaged, with the girls assuming that it was a youkai that already did the job, but with the true reason being that Outsider did it himself and simply does not want to engage with anything or anyone, because he knows better than that. I personally dont think that Yukari would mind that much, Outsider is basically a hermit, and unlike Fortune Teller, he didnt do anything shady to acquire his independence and he isnt rallying villagers into rebel against the system.I cant promise anything, I have too many written things on my hands, which may be why I seem to have something more or less already set, but who knows, maybe I will get to it at some point.
>>48195184>Anon E. Miss or the likeIt's a 4chan classic, you're legally obligated to like it and eat the slop.I'm sorry you had to hear this now the authorities are already on their way to your position.
>>48195330Yeah the name thing is just a sort of consideration. I like the incognito direction since it allows for a more clever character and story therein. So practically the total opposite of my own Doomguy one lol. That said Outsider coming from a collectivist-minded country or community would be a good idea to have him organically come to the conclusion that laying low is the smart thing to do versus him just happening to know that disruptive newbies get whacked quick. More reason to roll with having other Outsiders act as information bait and demonstrations as it were as they fall victim to various hazards and pitfalls for the protag to pick up on and act accordingly as he tries to make a go at it in Gensokyo.Even if it doesn’t go anywhere soon if at all, I do hope it gives you ideas and motivation for that story or perhaps even your other projects. You’ve given me a thing or two to ponder on.>>48195346I will die for my beliefs. And I won’t be known as Anon! I shall be called Anne Jon with a silent J.>>48195269The rabbits alone will throw him for a serious loop. That said I would imagine he would want to waste the sages like Yukari on principle alone, never mind taking them out would probably be key to undoing Gensokyo.
I want to see a story about an outsider who got gapped into Gensokyo and nearly got eaten before escaping back to the outside world, and is now seeking to kill all the youkai and free the human villagers.

>>48195726You can always try writing it yourself.
>>48195768Unfortunately I have no creativity whatsoever when it comes to writing.
>>48196029It's actually easy. You already have the >>48195726 as your plot. Imagine the ending, then create a timeline of events, just a few, with little detail at first. Once this is done, consider how those events could progress the way they did and create another timeline, with more detail. Rinse and repeat, until you achieve enough granularity to have individual scenes. Write those scenes and then enjoy your story!Mind you, this isn't exactly the best way to write. I don't know a single good writer that uses such approach. But I can assure you that it will produce a story that is coherent, so that's something at the very least.

>>48195522Honestly, most of the rabbits are either pretty nice, victims of oppression, or have pretty good reasons for being more conniving and cruel so it wouldn’t be so clear cut, I feel like Doomguy would definitely sympathize with Tewi or Reisen if he heard their backstories. Yukaris interactions would definitely be the most interesting of the sages. Kasens a coin flip because of her trying to be a good person but with a mountain of corpses behind her, and Okina is just kind of a standard bad guy. But Yukaris interactions would be interesting in probably trying to manipulate him like she does Reimu, only to learn that’s a really bad idea and it backfiring on everyone bad enough she’d probably have to step in to gap him away… then he just shows back up looney toons style like a second later. Plus they’re ideologically the total opposites (Human from the Future who abandoned humanity to create a paradise for monsters vs Human from the future who became the champion of humanity to destroy all monsters) so the ships wrote themselves
>>48174343I remember that Touhou x Smiling Friends thread we had a few weeks ago. Shit was comfy af.
>>48196766The rabbits don't affect much since Doom Guy would just kill everybody else who matters and Gensokyo would collapse unless Eintei stepped in and either killed him or sent him back home. Also Tewi doesn't have a back story and Yukari's goal isn't to make Gensokyo a paradise for Youkai I don't know why people think that when she literary says.>It's becoming hard for me to tell what's a dream and what's reality. The dreams usually end when I'm being chased by a youkai. They're nightmares worthy of being called nightmares, but...>If I keep bringing things along from my dreams without realizing it, then maybe even the conversation I'm having now is just a dream...>"Alright, here's my first piece of advice for you, Merry. These aren't bamboo shoots anymore. By the time they get to this size they're too tough to eat.">But if I could change them from nightmares to good dreams, I might prefer them to my present reality...>"Natural bamboo shoots hide underground, to protect themselves while they're soft and tasty."The nightmare being Gensokyo and the dream being her ideal Gensokyo where humans live in harmony, actual harmony with Youkai. This is literally Merry's second appearance and it's existed since 2004, anything else is a headcanon or theory.
>>48196846>The rabbits don't affect much since Doom Guy would just kill everybody else who matters and Gensokyo would collapse unless Eintei stepped in and either killed him or sent him back home.Doomguy isn’t going to let the innocent villagers die without a backup plan. He didn’t let Vega blindly die and his whole mission is to protect the innocent human or not. He’d absolutely try to destroy Gensokyo but he’d be smart about it.>Also Tewi doesn't have a back storyIt’s heavily implied she was either abused or abandoned at one point, or at least has a chip on her shoulder. Either ways she’s pretty decent. Also with Merry you could argue that she had an ideal to bring humanity together with youkai once, but she’s clearly got darker motivations nowadays and has no problem gapping innocent people for her goals. Only makes her contrast with Doomguy more interesting.
>>48196766Makes sense. Even if Tewi is a bit of a brat and Reisen a weenie who ran away without probably even fighting, they’re still cute rabbits and he will have to resist the urge to gently headpat and rub their bunny ears. Might make for some lighter writing and story levity if it goes in Eientei’s direction.Tei will definitely take advantage of him being a sap for bnnuies to get him to do stuff for her. Kasen would be iffier of the bunch for sure like the reasons you outlined. Even more so she only reformed in the first place after she got the evil excised out of her and not of her own power or will at that. She instantly relapsed when her arm was reconnected after all. Okina kidnapping and brainwashing two young women would piss him off as well for just a couple things, although I could see her maybe trying to manipulate him to use against Hell like Yukari.Speaking of which I have already alluded she's watching him for now with pending meddling to come, however that may manifest. Funny how similar yet radically different they are like you said. She gave in for power but he gave up everything including his life to save humanity. It’s just he got power as a means to an end without it being planned. Well Davoth planned it as a fuck you to Urdak and the Maykrs but he killed them all too given their threat to humanity and reality.[/spoilers]
>>48196799That sounds nice. Anything stand out for you specifically?
>>48196897>Doomguy isn’t going to let the innocent villagers die without a backup plan. He didn’t let Vega blindly die and his whole mission is to protect the innocent human or not. He’d absolutely try to destroy Gensokyo but he’d be smart about it.The villagers aren't going to die no matter what happens so I wasn't including them as being part of everyone, they're more set dressing anyways.>Also with Merry you could argue that she had an ideal to bring humanity together with youkai once, but she’s clearly got darker motivations nowadays and has no problem gapping innocent people for her goals. Only makes her contrast with Doomguy more interesting.Merry doesn't say anything about uniting humans using youkai, she just says she would prefer Gensokyo over future earth if she was able to turn it into a dream.
>>48196981Yeah, the rabbits have their quirks but they’re all victims of circumstance so he’d be more forgiving at least. The funny bunny adventures would probably last until he runs into the Lunarians and then his patience would break. Kasen best case scenario would be him destroying the arm and leaving Kasen be if she behaves, but permanently killing the arm might kill Kasen and he’d probably be fine with that. Okina would be mincemeat. Problem with Yukari and Okina manipulating Doomguy in the long run is that it’s gonna end the same way it ends with Davoth or Hayden… he’ll achieve their goals in the short term but he ain’t ever gonna stop, and if he has them in his sights he will get them. With Okina it will be just another God, but I feel like Yukaris gonna be personal if he gets the full picture of what she plans to do. Though I’m sure power level fags will be up my qss for even suggesting she’d lose
>>48197243>feel like Yukaris gonna be personal if he gets the full picture of what she plans to do. Though I’m sure power level fags will be up my qss for even suggesting she’d loseYukari doesn't plan to do anything, over the course of the entire series she's been purely reactionary. Even her thing with Kosuzu was in reaction to Reimu getting close enough to Kosuzu to where Yukari thought Reimu would become emotionally compromised if she had to kill her. Okina is way more active in causing trouble, that's basically all she does.
>>48197243Their quirks will just ensure they’re unique and endearing in their own ways. And I suppose how things go depends on which Lunarians he runs into. Kaguya should be cool, although Eirin might be harder to deal with. I don’t think the Watatsukis or others for that matter would he factors here. [spoilers]At least not yet with what I have planned so far.[/spoilers]Good point on Kasen. She seems to be okay without the arm attached so destroying it would likely just mean she can never go full Ibaraki-Douji again, right? At least I think so.Still think trying to take down Okina and Yukari will be (appropriately) difficult to say the least. Even more so if they decide Slayer is worthy of putting aside their differences and taking him on together with possibly others to assist. As much as Yukari is labeled a lazy smelly jobber, I believe she’s more than a credible threat and challenge for the likes of the Doom Slayer. Although him being defeated and or killed could lead to hopefully interesting plot developments and I’ve considered as much by splitting this crossover up into sort of “books” with the initial entry into Gensokyo here serving as the first of maybe like, 3-5. Still very much nebulous however. But of course, Yukari will be going down one way or another. It’s just doing so in a satisfying yet “realistic” way that’s the bitch of it. Also with how informed and even supportive you are of my idea, and I think we’ve even talked to each other months ago about this stuff, I wouldn’t mind having you maybe help write this story with your feedback and input.
>>48197334Definitely not gonna like Eirin, especially if she starts condescending to him. It’s for the best he doesn’t meet any of the real Lunarians either, else they’re gonna end up like the Makyrs. Oh I’m sure taking down Yukari would be a large scale thing, though I guess it again depends on your power level scaling or whatever. TBF, according to the lore I don’t think they could actually kill Doomguy even if they wanted too, ironically there’s a big piece of lore that suggests that Doomguys existence is tied to being the conceptual opposition to demons, meaning as long as there are demons/youkai, he will always exist to fight them and he just gets stronger and stronger the more demons he kills. He’d be like a Hourai Immortal that doesn’t get tired and just gets more annoyed so the hijinks of trying to get rid of him would be funny once they realized they fucked up.
>>48197387>He’d be like a Hourai ImmortalHow would go around with Mokou? Besides her body count she doesnt have anything bad to doom her, and she cant die either, would the slayer just ignore her since she is technically human and not precisely evil? (at least not anymore).
>>48197387Might be funny if they were to meet for a number of reasons. Especially when she deduces he’s just as immortal as she and Kaguya are if not more so and still very much human to boot. He might go to the Moon later like I hinted but we’ll see. Hostilities are all but guaranteed given their murderous animosity towards Earthlings and apparent bun abuse and enslavement. Maybe even try to bust Chang’e out since she’s actually from the Moon and the rabbits real leader at that? And getting back to the immortality thing, unless Yukari is a Primeval or can gap one in, she won’t be able to permakill Doomguy. But she can try to trap him like the demons did when they dropped a massive temple to KO his ass. But she likely won’t figure that nasty lore bit out soon and all the horrific hilarity that will come from said dawning recognition.
>>48197467>Chang’eConsidering how the only thing we know about her personally is that she got Junko's husband to kill their son her personality is probably shitty. She'll probably get herself killed like the rest of them.
>>48197411I think of he saw she was repentant he’d somewhat let it slide, again he’s gotten along with people like the Betrayer who y’know… betrayed him, and got an entire world destroyed for it, so he could be lax enough. Again, power level shit, but the Crucible is stated to over power pretty much anyone’s immortality and trap them in a state where they can’t regenerate. The Icon of Sin (whose also giga immortal) was defeated by it, so it might work but she’d have a massive sword sticking in her gut so she’d look like.
>>48197483I wonder how that would work on the Hourai immortals, they aren't eternal like the Lunarians and don't have the same type of imaging immortality, instead of being distanced from life of death they're deeply embedded in it.Would the sword stop them from "regenerating" new bodies, it's called regeneration but as seen with Mokou hair turning silver in a reflection of how she views herself it's more like the soul of the Houraijin just shapes a body around itself freely.
>>48197480I knew she was involved in Junko’s family’s deaths but I thought it was more out of association from Change’s husband than her doing anything herself? I’ve heard Chang’e’s husband shot down stars with one of them crushing Junko’s son. No matter what though keeping Earth safe from the possible threat of the Lunarians and Moon rabbit liberation is important.
>>48197480Funnily enough, Junko would be like the one character he’d be fully sympathetic with considering how similar their backstory is. He’d definitely help her get Chang’es ass since she’s so the reason the Moon Rabbits are enslaved in the first place. He might even be alright with Hecatia since even though she’s a Hell God, she never actually does her job in Hell and is isn’t even that evil of a person according to Eiki.
>>48197507The Lore is vague, but it’s stated that it was able to trap a Titan body and soul if the crucible is attached, so it doesn’t much stop at just bodily regeneration it basically corrupts the very existence of whatever it targets, immobilizing them until it’s removed. Doomguys crucible is also stated to so good that it can corrupt anything, up to including “all realms” in the Doomverse which means it’s probably still got the power to overwrite immortality even someone attached to eternity. But again, power level shit or whatever, im not entirely sure how literal some of the lore is.
>>48197585Does Nirvana and all of reality count as being "all realms" is so I don't think the sword would work on the Houraijin as they exist outside of Nirvana and the cycle of life and death even as they are endlessly reborn, living and dying.
>>48197619Don’t know about Nirvana and how high that would scale, but Doomverse scale is ridiculous, like infinite sized universes with infinite branching fractal timelines each with infinite variations that are apart of an infinite multiverse that is considered infinitely below Hell, which is stated to be beyond the very boundaries of time and dimension and is literally beyond the very concept of science as well All of this was created by a God with a fraction of his power on accident once, who Doomguy then proceeded to beat to death. So like Marvel levels of dumb excess.
>>48197720I don't know all Buddhist scaling off the top of my head but just from the description of hell it sounds like it falls within the cycle of life of death which the Houraijin would transcended.
>>48196897>It’s heavily implied she was either abused or abandoned at one point, or at least has a chip on her shoulder.Because she is (or is a stand-in) for Hare of Inaba, just like for instance Kanako is Yasakatome. In the myth Hare, after being attacked and skinned by sharks, first meets Ōkuninushi's brothers, who tell it to wash its wounds in salt water and dry afterwards. This obviously ends in terrible pain for the Hare. It was only Ōkuninushi that helps the Hare when he later meets the rabbit.
>>48195741Yukari as seen by Yukarifags. They hype her up to be this unbeatable eldritch abomination that can do anything with her reality warping ability only for her to lose and get humiliated in her next canon apperances
>>48198936>after being attacked and skinned by sharksYou mean, "after the hare tricks the sharks and is punished for its hubris", right?
>>48199056I've never claimed that the sharks' attack was unjustified. Still, Ōkuninushi's brothers gave wrong advice on purpose, because they were people getting a kick out of animal that did nothing against them writhing in pain. This sours perception of humans, I wager.
>>48199161>humansI see that the Kunitsu successfully managed to pass the buck again.
>>48199276Emperor Jimmu might had been closer to Amaterasu then Ōkuninushi was to Susanoo, depending on whether you prefer Kojiki or Nihongi. And Jimmu is both human and kami, like Sanae. Furthermore, Ōkuninushi's brothers aren't deified, as far as I know. So it is a murky territory.
>>48197002Some art of the Smiling Friends characters as Touhou characters. Some jokes/references to the show. References to that Krobo Productions YouTube poop where Robotnik kidnapped the Smiling Friends.
>>48198936>>48199161Yeah I don’t feel like Doomguy would consider being a bit arrogant and a prankster enough of a reason to start blasting. Dude would probably fall into one of her traps and be mildly amused when it doesn’t do anything and then probably just hang out with the goofball til some other youkai comes and annoys him.
>>48199056>>48199161>>48200478Doomguy will punish the dumb bratty Hare by mercilessly hugging and cuddling her for at least an hour.If she’s been really bad then he’ll make Tewi wear dumb hats or tie ribbons that would be excessive even by Touhou standards to her hair and ears and take pictures of it and post them online once he gets a connection.Tewi shouldn’t start a war against him, especially when Mr. Marine has a well concealed silly streak.https://youtube.com/watch?v=WXE_wXCBohQ&pp=ygURZG9vbWd1eSBmaXN0IGJ1bXA%3D

>>48200478Does Tewi even set traps in canon? The one 'prank' of hers I can remember aside from the bunny pet one is when she goes around accepting donations for a 'shrine' but doesn't specify it's for the Hakurei shrine. Since Tewi herself is enshrined as the Hare of Inaba in Hoden Main Hall in the Hakuto Shrine, in the outside world.I guess her interview with Aya could also be considered a prank, but all she does there is speak honestly then claim her honest words were a lie in order to fuck with Aya.
I don't have a great picture for it but I sometimes daydream what it would be like if a wedge were forced between Reimu and Marisa playing up a tragic angle, like Anakin and Obiwan or Optimus and Megatron. What conditions would it happen, how far would Reimu be forced to go to stop Marisa?

>>48201780Huh… I actually don’t know because the Inaba manga is ingrained in my head as her default personality but that might not be canon.
>>48203452It is canon, as far as it's known, but some retards like to pretend that it isn't, despite ZUN never stating that. It's always been treated as one of three parts of Bougetsushou, which is canon, so I don't know why retards imagine it as less than canon.
>>48204916Forgive me for not taking a gag manga seriously.
>>48204960Touhou is a gag game series. It's just that ZUN is too terrible at humor to make most of it funny.
>>48203452Keep in mind the final chapter has the explanation that the entire work is written by Kaguya, first as an attempt at a illustrated diary but then becoming more and more exaggerated due to Tewi's input and Kaguya wanting to publish it as a piece of entertainment.Eirin is rather dumbstruck by it and the manga closes on the narrator wondering if Eren even let book leave the room.
>>48205033I mean if it had input from Tewi herself it could still be her personality shining through so maybe the interpretation isn’t entirely OOC.
>>48208679That is entirely possible
bump
A Fate crossover would be neat, especially since they too have their own versions of Suika abd Kasen
>>48214192Reminds me of an idea of I had of Shirou summoning Mima, she would be able to teach him magic wrong like his dead adoptive father did, and she'd later betray him and try to use the grail to end humanities dominance over the world and bring about the age of youkai once more.I never really liked the nice Mima interpretations, even if they're closer in tone to Touhou, so a misanthrope who glorifies youkai and the supernatural always appealed to me. Her backstory as a human would have been that she was a westerner who assisted the Sages in the construction of the Great Hakurei Barrier back in the 1880s, but the Sages lied to her that the barrier was only the first step in a planned retaking of the world and eventually they killed her since their true intention was preserving youkai without having to kill countless humans. There's a bit of irony in that backstory where the human misanthrope fetishizes inhuman monsters who turn out to be more human and reasonable than her.
Due to touhou's more carefree nature I feel like the best crossovers would also be with something a bit lax. That said I also like the idea of using touhou to put a spin on existing stories or properties.
>>48214192I've always wondered how a reality marble would interact with the barrier
>>48201652This has terrible implications, imagine the tears on that poor rabbit
>>48204984I want to neutral ending Gensokyo so much.
>>48227576What would that look like?
>>48176874i think seija is a fun character in basically any crossover for various reasons:she actively creates conflictshe's by default opposed to whatever the status quo isshe has a tricky power and isn't extremely strongshe's clever and skilled, willing and capable of using everything she can find to get an advantageshe's actually pretty good at influencing and manipulating others, but is incapable of mantaining many allies for long
>>48228602Yep, a lot of time when thinking of a crossover scenario I run into the problem of Touhou characters being too strong and finding it hard to justify them being weaker or jobbing without making fun of the character, it's autistic but I don't want to be mean to them.So I find Reimu and Marisa, and a lot of the other main girls hard to work with, while Seija is the right mix of weak, relevant, and a good shitty personality that makes her surprisingly flexible. That and she a tool user who is a favorite trope of mine, and the only other choice of tool user is Kaguya who I like less than Seija and is also very strong.
>>48221655Yeah, the whole purpose of Touhou is that there’s a quiet status quo that never ever changes. Everything must reset to one no matter who much should change because Gensokyo is about the neutral wonderland that allows for things that no longer exist to thrive Problem is that it’s so messed up to normal people if you throw a Superman or Doomguy into it, there’s really not much reason they wouldn’t actively try to change it, which would inherently change the very core of the themes so you’d have to make it a much different story. Superman isn’t just gonna fight Reimu and then go to drink tea if innocent people are being held captive by monsters y’know
>>48233068>fricking buff
>>48233068i think touhou characters inserted into other worlds is a more interesting premise
>>48235583What sort of ideas do you have for that Anon, Seija in JJk was mentioned up thread but I have trouble thinking of where or when exactly she'd show up.I could see her really joining up with anyone depending on the circumstance, but her problem with her joining the protagonists is I'm pretty sure she's smarter then all of them combined since she can come up with actual plans that aren't just punching people in the face and relying on Gojo. And while the antagonists are technically rebels they also have so much in their favor, including one collective brain shared between them, that I have a hard time thinking of them as underdogs Seija would join. And I don't know how she would get along with/react to Yuji.
>>48235916At the moment I'm not really feeling like coming up with stuff but I'll make a post here if something comes to mind. I guess the simplest idea would be a touhou character roughly replacing a protagonist to see what she would do.I'm not familiar with jjk so I can't help much, but I think it would be in-character for Seija to refuse to join a pre-existing organization even if they are anti establishment. Maybe she would try to cooperate with them for a bit before inevitably betraying them because lol lmao
>>48236123Oh and when I say "touhou character roughly replacing a protagonist" I'm not talking about jjk specifically, just general crossover idea. usually I don't like pitting protagonist vs protagonist because it always feels like a powerfagging pissing contest
To be honest, this thread was partly inspired by a fic where Gojo at six meets Reimu and then meets her again five years later after she went through the PC98 games
>>48236620Name?
>>48236623Twin PeaksIt starts with Reimu floating past InfinityLast update they were fighting a videogame Curse that did what everyone in the JJK world has wanted to do at least once and left Gojo on muteGensokyo seems to still exist, given that Reimu is completely clueless about stuff like credit cards and videogames, they simply let her out as part of Yukari planning something
