Is there a way to automate wine selling? I've got mushrooms automatically put into a million wine barrels. But then what, the sale tag and good stock sign stop working when you sell out right?

By 20 charisma the first 3 levels are already efficient if you don't feel like dealing with pets (can be kind of a hard sell with how strong totem poles are)

Another well-received variant (especially in Japan) is Omake Overhaul. Elona will probably overwhelm you but the main gameplay loop is a lot similar. I'd say Elona play a little more like a classic rogue-like and Elin plays a little more like a sandbox game, but you can do most of everything you can do in Elona and Elin and perhaps vice-versa.

Another useful one can be the fisher, you'll find every day/few days a fish that you can cut into flakes and transform into wine. If you are really into farming recruiting a farmer can be a good idea as he gives extra fertility, thus you are able to plant more crops. If you've rescued poppy he will give you a treasure map every few days. Remember to put every trasure map you find or that he gives you in the shared container as he has a chance to dig em up (treasure hunter). It really depends on what your home needs. One of the tutorial missions from fiama can give you a resident ticket is you choose the correct answer, you can use it to get a resident for free

At the start of the game the more costly residents are around 15 gold bars if I'm not mistaken, it could be that once your heartstone levels up better residents are available for recruiting but I'm not sure. At that point you should still be getting gold bars more consistently so it shouldn't be a problem. I don't remember what quests it actually gives it to you though, I think it's after rescuing poppy. Fiama will give you a few options, and one of them is "I want to focus on developing my home" or something like that. I don't know what the other options give as I always chose this one besides "I want to die" obviously

If you are at 400 days you can ignore it, you should have or at least be making enough gold bars by yourself.
