Showa is like an alternate reality somehow. Very strange to look at
>>48230836It's not real nostalgia if you didn't personally experience it.

>>48245670Somehow the feeling is there, as if the brain created fake memories. It's similar to the feeling of being sad for the death of a fictional character.

went here a few times but everytime it was crowded and the place was really cramped.
never been to the new store. pics looks like they made it more spacy.

Nostalgia for the 'inaka'
tachikawa afb laundry gate
main gate
>>48252565Still exists. >>48252419What kind of stuff did you buy? >>48249377Deep>>48243119Considering most families share a small living room and single tv I understand why this would change. There are still tons of DVD stores around to visit. Anyone got Hiroshima nostalgia? Lived there in the 90s and moved back go the US in the early 2000s. I’m back living in Yokohama since 2021 but I hate I missed the early 2000s culture. Avwsv
OC pictures from late 90s or early 2000s shit on film
OC I’ll post a few incase it’s interesting. 1999
OC hanami
Monkey performers that used to be popular. I never see them anymore.
>>48267394parts for projects from this magazine
>>48267640built this am transmitter. i remember that 88 coil was hard to find.
what i found out is that when buying parts like ics, they don't include the datasheet or any info of the pins or specs. their reasoning was the buyer should already have that info so why do they need to provide it.
there used to be a old building where this new one i. they had couple of store selling junk parts.
>>48267640>>48267898>>48273700Very interesting thanks. I love the hobby culture in Japan there’s tons of support in terms of hobby shops and literature.
>>48273738>there used to be a old building where this new one i. they had couple of store selling junk parts. When was that? Akihabara changes all the time.

>>48273827early 80s. yeah, its been awhile.
>>48274029Kinda a longshot, but do you happen to know what was that KONAMI building in pic related? Was this an arcade , a game studio or something else? It used to be in what now is the big Yodobashi Akiba store near Akiba station.
>>48274094no idea. never went on that side of akihabara since it was mostly business offices.
