The Suwa shrine, which the Moriya shrine is based on, is in the Nagano prefecture, just like Zenkou-ji and (presumably) the Hakurei shrine, which the girls have been to, so they'd know about the disappearing shrine maiden. And I've heard the theory that Yukari brought the Moriya shrine to Gensokyo, so it ties everything really well.

There is a sort of irony with the Hifuus.Maribel, despite being a foreigner, has a more traditionally oriental view of the world, partly informed by her ability. She views opposing concepts as overlapping, or "flowing" one into the other.Meanwhile, Renko, also partly informed by her abilities, has a more traditionally western view of the world as beign measurable and explainable, and of opposing concepts as not overlapping. This is why she tries to explain anomalies rather than accepting them as they are.This may also be why most of Renko's outfits are so western.

It's THE Renko song, so of course it's the best. I could go into detail, but I'm a little tired right now.I also want to mention Winds of Agartha. It's not even my second favorite, but I still like it, and it has a very unique sound. It always makes me think of traveling thru a foggy mountain.
