>>48641256Just being silly on purpose.
>>48641272In case of Koishi, it's not far-fetched that Anon was talking about archetype and attitude towards the world.Being less concerned with conscious dilemmas and fears sounds like a nice thing. For some, in moderation, for others, in absolute way.
>>48638522Getting ready for this new year. This is going to be the one.

>>48642571Nta, but yes, Koishi is for me an archetype that I try to follow. Fanworks tend to paint her as a downright psychopath with murderous intent for shock or entertainment value, yeah, but I prefer to think she is just free. By that I don't mean following every whim in a disorganized manner, but obeying her true nature above all. I have felt at times what I think she must always feel like, and it is liberating even if it may appear weird from the outside. I aspire to conduct myself in the same way she does. In short, I love Koishi-chan and she is my best imaginary friend.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Komeiji Koishi's Heart-Throbbing Adventure. The plot is extremely complicated, and without a solid grasp on Touhou lore and comparative mythology most plot points will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Komeiji Koishi's absurdist outlook, which is deftly woven into her characterisation- her personal philosophy draws heavily from jewish psychology literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these plot points, to realise that they're not just interesting- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence, people who dislike Komeiji Koishi's Heart-Throbbing Adventure truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, depth in Koishi's existential catchphrase "My hat is my friend. It helps me relax." which itself is a cryptic reference to karaagetarou's Japanese epic Chireide. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Sentakusen's genius wit unfolds itself on their (via VPN) niconicodouga account screens. What fools.. how I pity them. And yes, by the way, I DO own Koishi and Satori doujinshi. And no, you cannot see them. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're at least as insane as I am (preferably more) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid

>>48656564It's fitting that she gets protrayed in a bad light by some. People who are free and true to their nature are often misunderstood, even feared.
