Cute confession scene. It’s been a while since I’ve read something with basically no time wasted on bullshit. So far, not a single scene has been boring or felt like the writer was just padding the script for no reason, and at the same time, it doesn’t feel rushed either. I don’t know if the writer is going to keep this pacing until the very end, but mystery is really good so far.
These two might actually be the most evil people I've ever encountered in fiction. There's characters that have committed genocide that have a better sense of morality.
The time has come.
>>50073974They did nothing wrong tho?
Chrono box question : How important is the trial version? Can i jump straight to the main game?
>>50074189>The trial shares no content with the main game.wtf?
>>50074189It's important, but iirc there is a patch to just patch trial content into main game, so you can just read it from main menu instead. Unless I'm wrong, iso contains patch as separate exe, but I've read it ages ago, so not sure.
Anyone know if someone uploaded the Amakano 3 original soundtrack?
>>50073963There are a bunch of scenes later that are just the writer's obvious fetishes that he puts in every game but that's fine. It was pretty consistently engaging from beginning to end but the ending went by a bit quickly and is a deus ex machina so I'm curious how people will find it. I wanted to see a little more of what happened in that timeline before the ending.
>>50074334i don't think so, it is physical only for nowlisten to the in game version in the mean time
There used to be lots of JP fanfics based on 90's to 00's VNs. Lots of key VNs, fate, kiminozo, even pia carrot had fanfics too. I wonder if nowadays JP fanfic authors for VNs still exist. But apparently nowadays JP fanfic authors in VN fandoms are getting fewer. Years ago I saw Summer Pockets fanfics tho but just thatI've read a Kiminozo fic based on Akane Pregnancy End where Mitsuki gets a better life and reconciles with Akane (yes ik Mitsuki was so nasty in that ending but I can forgive her a bit here). There's even a crazier fanfic where it's a continuation of Green Nurse's Route in other character's POV kek. The appeal of fanfiction is, sometimes the authors wrote better than the original story, or filled a plothole/gap that people wanted to see, or simply wanted to see their fav characters to be happy. Actually, I wrote fanworks of some VNs too and felt self-satisfied when uploaded them on ao3. You don't have to worry much of reader's reactions, as long as you're happy. Though, having readers that appreciate your works will make you feel better. If I can translate my own works to JP, surely more people will read, but maybe not so soon…
Based
>>50074633I used to write a lot of VN fanfics in Japanese for production practice, but I've been focusing more on English writing lately. The thing about fanfiction is that there's only so much effort you can put into it before it starts to make more sense to just make an entire brand new VN/game from scratch. That way you have complete creative control over the story, and you've created something which can be enjoyed by anyone without requiring that they have familiarity with some other series or work. With VN creation and publishing being more accessible than ever thanks to places like novelgame.jp, I wouldn't be surprised if a relevant dearth of VN fanfics lately was due to the authors who would write them choosing to become VN creators in their own right instead.
>>50074633There are not a lot of incentives to write JP fanfics anymore because of the popularity of those web novel websites. Why bother put an effort in writing fanfics for another IP while you can write a self indulgent novel put it online and have a chance to make it big.
I turn moege character into trannies and faggots in my fanfics
>>50074633Since the rise of AI now you wouldn't know what is AI garbage and what is not so you better accept the death of fanfics for the better.
I don't like the artstyle in Amakano game.
question, i downloaded this game from DMM but when i tried to play it, the game refuses to launch. is there something wrong with my pc or something hidden that prevents me from playing it?
>>50075314There is no reason a copy can not surpass the original. Now get off the internet Gil.
>>50074734Thanks for remind me that the only phones being sold with headphone jack in my country are entry level garbage, and my only choice for something better is importing a gaymer phone>>50075329Might sound dumb, but do you have JP locale and a nip VPN enabled when opening it? I play the horse shit game on dmm and it won't open unless I have a nip VPN running
>>50075396>Might sound dumb, but do you have JP locale and a nip VPN enabled when opening it? I play the horse shit game on dmm and it won't open unless I have a nip VPN runninglmao pirates win again
>>50075404You only need it for opening it, once it's running you can turn off VPN. But yeah, it's still annoying
>>50075347>There is no reason a copy can not surpass the original. Now get off the internet Gil.Go read sakuuta + sakutoki and actually learn something about art fucking retard
>>50075396>Might sound dumb, but do you have JP locale and a nip VPN enabled when opening it?i tried it but still same result. i looked at download page to see if i missed anything and it looks like i have to download soft denchi to play it but i can't for the life of me to use it.
>>50075694Get drm-free exe and crack your copy
>>50075727that bad.
>>50075329Yeah you need to download some driver, then Soft Denchi DRM software, and then enter your DMM account into the prompt it seems.
>>50075668You not being able to tell "real art" from "fake art" has nothing to do with AI.
>>50075322Well I do.
>>50075322>>50076069Now fight.
>>50075668>truth doesn't exist>but, AI is bad
>>50076060Imitation can surpass original tho.
I don’t know why you guys are so anti AI art. I’d be glad to have entire AI generated animated scenes of Sayumi from Amakano 3. Imagine VNs that are entirely animated and indistinguishable from non AI. Like School Days except actually good. Then budget can go to e-celeb art directors that can curate the best taste because mechanical skill is free.
>>50076512They're just luddites who hate science and progress, you can safely ignore them
>>50076512I was kinda with you until you dropped the whole "industry names are ecelebs" ritual shitpost, and now I think I must be wrong for thinking you had a point. I'm no luddite, my actual job is AI, but eh, ambivalent
keep crying lol https://automaton-media.com/en/news/over-50-of-japanese-game-companies-use-ai-in-development-according-to-tokyo-game-show-organizer/
>>50076682>eceleb articleShan't be reading.
>>50076694kek
>>50076512AI animations aren't good though. They should've made live2d h-scenes
>>50076694>eceleb article?
>>50076512you never kind the great taste of a human made art that's fresh from the oven and the soul you can feel from it
>>50075694There's a really simple script somewhere in the archive to remove DRM from the exe file if you don't want to download softdenchi.
>>50076559There's genuinely nothing wrong with being a luddite in today's day and age. The historical luddites were very justified in their concerns.
>>50077173Lol no. There are downsides to technologies but most of them are because of human's nature, not the techs themselves. The problems nowadays is still mostly the same as before. If you are not satisfied with the modern age you won't survive what came before. At least you are not being massacred by the whim of some kings and having all the comforts of modern techs (catching a cold before cold medicine could result in high chances of death for example, and this is true for most diseases).
>>50077301>catching a cold before cold medicine could result in high chances of death for example, and this is true for most diseasesThat's a good thing.
>>50077309Most people won't agree with you though, which is why we are here to begin with.
>>50076512>and indistinguishable from non AIIt will never ve indistinguishable, thats why is always going to be trash because everything will and already looks like it was drawn by the same person just trying to copy artstyles
>>50077301Do you realize how retarded your belief is that the most successful and widespread respiratory disease has ever had a high chance of killing its carrier? You're not going to die from a cold unless you already have an impaired immune system and it progresses into pneumonia. Cold medicine exists to reduce symptoms, not to eradicate the disease, which has nothing to do with Luddism, since natural remedies against it have always existed. Luddism is a conservative reaction to technological progress, which can or can not be good, since not all technology improves the quality of life of the average man, and the ones that do tend to take time to do so. For example, we are going to have smelly Indians like you spamming shitty AI animations for years before we actually get anything passable. It's natural for a person of non-Indian intelligence to look at that and think "this is shit, it's better we never had AI to begin with."
>>50077384Most people are retarded, that's nothing new.
>>50077059If you don't want to find the script, it's pretty easy to manually do with a hex editor. Search for the second occurrence of the first four bytes (0x4d5a 9000) and delete everything before it. That should remove the wrapper executable. This should work for most games that use softdenchi. Backup the executable in case you screw it up.
>>50075314if you cant tell what is or isnt ai writing... how can it be garbage?but unfortunately its still easy to tell
>>50077402>high chance of killing its carrierIt's not always the case but we're talking about much lower quality of life here.>it's better we never had AI to begin withThat's your opinion. Personally I've never spam AI art here or anywhere else. If you dislike AI art just ignore them. You can be skeptical about new techs all you want but at the end of the day, it's more about how they are used (for example bad techs being pushed by greedy people to maximize profit rather than just drop it, or good tech being used to create weapons).
I find amusing how Limelight has been more enjoyable than Tenshi Souzou, and I'm about to finish the common route
>>50077625>Tenshi SouzouDoes that not have its good routes at least? I want to catch up with that before lllj
>>50077661It has good girls, but the routes themselves are a mixed bag in my opinion. Liked Kurumi and Orie, but only Orie's route felt decent from beginning to end mostly because it's a subheroine
I think Kanako works better as ane (older cousin) than imouto.
Ena's rotue 3LJ - Wow, are they really just ripping off Chihaya's arc from the Idolm@ster anime?
>>50077988False alarm the flag for fixing the problem was tripped in like 10 lines.
Can anyone describe the appeal of Startrain? Trying to pick my next eroge.
>>50078077I remember one russian guy praising it for realistic portrayal of heroines and relationships
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWf6Y5mNj_U
>>50073930What's this, such a picturesque scene
>>50079500Develop some taste and see this superior SOVL you uncultured swine.
I don't even know why she has a route. My best guess is that they had already hired Kanako and figured it would be a waste to have her only voice a side character without a route.
>>50079929>accidental best girl
>>50079970That's the other side heroine.
Everyone on twitter keeps comenting that the yuzusoft writers are obsessed with the word ノンデリ lol.
>>50079597I tried Kakyuusei after playing the Doukyuusei remakes and the soul was simply too much for me. Remakes elevate them to another level in my opinion.
>>50080567Eh, the remake art is ok but elf's PC98 era art is great even now. Though I'm pretry tolerant toward old graphic since I grow up playing Famicom games. Back then it's pretty fun seeing game graphic evolved every few years but after a certain point the improvements don't seem that impressive anymore.
>>50080527I wouldn't say obsessed with the word, it's just that Ririko likes to call the MC it.
Is there a textractor hook for LimeLight available?
Everyone posts about moege, does anyone know how is Kao no Nai Tsuki remake? Are there any changes for worse(big censorship, cut scenarios, etc)? Or is it definitive improved version?
>>50081688I checked some comments about the trial before and apparently the MC is toned down compared to the original
>>50081577I had this issue too. I recommend waiting for a voiced line that is short and easy to type, then go to search for hooks > check the box for search Japanese/Chinese text and then type the voiced line dialogue into the text box and hit search. Whatever you find should give you the right hook.
>>50081688I've been playing it. It's very good. I don't know how much it changed from the original, since I never played the original, but I'm loving it so far. I love the anthropological aspect with the folklore discussions and myths as well as the mysteries and atmosphere. I only dislike that the "flowchart" they have is basically just full spoilers and not really a chart, but whatever.>>50081710Is he? I'm wondering what he's like in the original. He seems to have his edges, he's definitely no goody two shoes moege protagonist. The game makes it clear he's had quite a lot of sexual relationships with women and had sex with Chikako before the game starts.
>>50081710>>50082102Hmm, I want to play this but if there's enough changed in the remake I might have to do the original alongside it or something.
Finished Gothic Delusion, this was mostly okayish, teacher MC dealing with his students was boring, but SHE made it all worth it in the end(as expected of a shirokami gothic lolita). That said, I really like how reading this often felt more like watching anime, with all these little animations and no static sprites.A short read that is definitely worth it, especially for her.
Again, mesmerizingly beautiful character design.
>>50082570yeah that's me
I wish LLJ had a date at the top left like Tenshin Ranman since it has a lot of emphasis on the day/time of year. There was one scene at the start of december and then suddenly halfway through the next scene I learn it's supposed to be Christmas Eve.
>>50081577Try lunatranslator
majo saiban was a bit overrated afterall and had alot of issues like the second half being a drag, idk why you faggots couldnt find a single one.Peak end though https://youtu.be/-F3NV1ls41c?list=RD-F3NV1ls41c
>>50082566'logged
>>50082883They got Aitsuki Nakuru to do the ED? That's wild lol, been into her for a few years now, def need to get around it soon.
Hinami really needed a sprite in LLJ
>>50079492This is awesome. I saw his post on Twitter but didn’t see the video.
Does anyone how I can make moekasu work on win11? Moekan runs normally but for some reason Moekasu doesn't respond at all.
Lame that they didn't have the usual heroines changing/taking a batch CG, they even had the perfect moment for it with the yukata scene.
>>50083773The game also doesn’t work on win 10. I read it on a win xp VM. It works fine.
>>50078077i liked it because i have an affinity with the sort of protagonists whose time has stalled. It's a broken people fixing each other sort of deal and getting their time moving again. The guy isn't irritatingly hetare, but he's pretty depressing. Blue hair is shit in her route, but that final route really did a number on me emotionally. I picked it up because it initially reminded me of Memoff2, and I ended up liking it more than Memoff2.
>>50083773https://github.com/RibShark/SafeDiscShim
>>50083807I disagree. I was thinking about it after playing LLJ trial and Amakano trial and in entiretly of LLJ there is no nudity whatsoever and you barely see even a bit of any girl's skin until H(except Ririko), while in Amakano they just flop everyone's tits out within first hour and the all the anticipation and excitement is gone. Not showing any lewd CGs makes anticipating and fantasicing about a girl as you read towards her route way better, it makes girls feel more pure and it makes moment when any particual girl in question volunarily decides to show (((you))) her body way more special and rewarding. As much as I like my beach episodes, I like the idea of girls not being whores too.

>>50084157Oh shit, what if anon above got his wish and they gave Hinami sprite too but I'm past that spot in Ena route and I will never see it ever again....Unless she comes back later, I only read right after 1st H...MC's mom didn't get a sprite tho, pretty sure I've read a scene with her after updating and she didn't have one!
