Okay anons, large apologies for the delay. I have tried to and, for the most part, successfully done more in November than anticipated. But at that cost was the calendar due date. Gomennasorry. One of my favorite things to do is to brush my doll's hair while i'm in calls. I will need to get one of those wireless ones so I can also do the laundry as well.
When you collect your girls (or boys), do you give each of them a distinct theme/character? If so, does that influence the way you dress/present them or do you just buy everything for one and change?
>>50377186I think it's sort of the other way around for me. How I perceive my girls' personalities largely came from what I dressed them up in thinking it would look nice on them. So Akira ended up more tomboyish because I think that look matched her well, and Lily more elegant/big-sister type. That's not to say they don't occasionally get dressed in something that conflicts with their typical style.
New doll owner here originally wanting to make her look like my OCHer first set of clothes finally arrived so I can take photos of herI think I made a mistake buying a doll with oversized hips, the clothes are very tough to style on her.I also might get a different face-up because she looks lobotomized in so many other angles and photos I took. uueghI'm learning a lot, especially with what I'm looking for in a doll, so maybe my next purchase will be better. For now I will try and practice making those two big braids on this girls super long wig

>>50377493it's just a bit of putty usually, the eyes are meant to be adjustable and replaceable. just roll it off with your hands when you need to replace the eyes and stick it back onto the edges of new eyes as needed. you should also look up the appropriate eye size for your doll, you can sometimes vary the size up or down a bit to fill the sockets differently

I think a format overhaul is due for the 2027 calendar if the project continues. That outfit is a couple of separates, the sweater dress is from MalvinaFashion on Etsy, they don't have that particular style currently, I bought mine 2 years ago, but they have a different pattern one. I don't remember where the belt or the stockings come from. Nina's wig is cute, and I like the color, but I just don't know about the style yet. I'm still working her out. But it's good for now!
