Meteor World Actor won. Kinugasa should return full time to VN and drop lns(shit medium)
World Actor's heroines look so good. I'm mad that apparently the romance is just shoehorned in.
>>50725768>>50725772Is the third one good enought to be worth going through the trilogy?
>>50725774The Muv Luv of 2020s...
>>50725768Heard he really nailed the ending for MWA.
>>50725774First one is great fun, Badge and Dagger is the one that is smaller and not as good but is a bridge between the other two so you cant skip it.
>>50725724ruin hunter raichi
I miss Majikoi, I've not played anything as good since, every character even the background characters were interesting, now I just proceed as quickly to the heroine's h-scenes as possible ignoring everyone else.
>>50725824>every character even the background characters were interestingHave you played Henpri?
>>50725832No, it kinda looks like shit (Not a Virgin), but I'll give it a go sometime.
>>50725837All the heroines are virgins.
>>50725837The priest and the most cruel character in the whole novel are the non-virgins. This was social criticism by our masters at Qruppo.
Difficult Choice, Touka had better screen time, but I still leaning towards Uguisu
true ending kino soon

>>50726008memoff is okay but the others instantly light up my red flags
Possibly in my top 5 VN girls
>>50725774If you liked the first you'll probably like them all. There's nothing particularly amazing about the third game that should make you force yourself through the first two if you're not interested in them.
>>50725930where' the true end guide
>>50726307there's one at the end of the normal end but now that i finished the true end you should go for the true one right away since you'll miss nothing by doing so. there's i guide on the official website, if not i can write it down myself
also i'm a lil bit pissed off because the true end has only a few more cutscenes without explaining SHIT (excluding the giant hidden event, that one was kino) now i have to slop daichi no uta...
since it's not on vndb might as well write down something here (ruin hunter raichi):first of all, it's not a short game. even with 10x speedup on enemy turns and some autobattling it's around ~20h long to see all the contentsecond: it's very fun. i hate jrpgs in general but i loved this one. exploring is a lot of fun, game's full of secrets and there were a lot of hype/kino moments during the story + a lot of cool mechanics and puzzlesthird: the game is structured like>main story>hidden event (long and story-heavy)>ending>epilogue (true end only)and to see the epilogue you need to complete the hidden event which is very missable unless you know what to not do and whenfourth: the epilogue added more questions than answers, not a fan of this. like a hint to some "deep lore" that isn't explained properlyfifth: i don't know how it fits with tobiden but raichi is playable in daichi no uta so it's definitely a canon "prequel/spin-off" overall: solid 8/10, very good. it ruined my winterge schedule because i couldn't stop playing it for the last 7 days, so that's that. now back to grinding shite album
>>50726336>official websitewhere, I only see their blog?
>>50726648>i hate jrpgs in general but i loved this one. From what you posted can't imagine it's better than some of the legit classics, probably just a case of >it's good because it's obscure and has moonrunes =o

>>50726772thanks
>>50726800if you want other spoiler free hints feel free to ask
>>50726807I only started it yesterday for a bit, still at the first area so if the hints you gave are enough to not brick the trueend route it should be fine.
>>50726816as long as you do the usual jrpg stuff (re-talk to every npc after every story beat, explore everything , remember what everybody says) then you should be fine. the only beginner tip i have is the first thing you should buy are bartender's 儲け話. the initial equipment can carry you far enough
I dropped Haharanman. It's a shame because I really liked parts of it a lot. The music and general feel is just gorgeous; I thought it nailed the Taishou setting perfectly. My issue was with the protagonist, and to a lesser extent the gameplay.I like Isamu a lot. He's a great protagonist most of the time. But I don't know if there were multiple writers with different visions or whatever, but in what feels like half his scenes he suddenly turns into the most quivering, simpering child. It gives me whiplash every time, because in his other scenes, especially his scenes with Saki, he's a gigachad badass ronin action hero. The problem got bad enough for me that I ended up just not wanting to play through any of the other heroines' routes, not because I disliked them (I really like all the game's heroines), but because I really hated how Isamu acted when he was with them. But as I discovered to my displeasure, Saki doesn't even have a dedicated route, despite the game making it really, really look like she's going to. When you get to the end of her bit in the common route, she gets automatically forced into the role of being Isamu's side piece, which felt like a really hollow ending for her to me after what felt like so many wonderful scenes building up their relationship and how they grew from perfect strangers into caring for each other so much.To even continue with the game at all with this point, I'd have to restart from some save like 10 or 15 in-game days ago. I like the little dreamscape you defend; it's a fun time-management puzzle that's complex enough to be interesting. The issue is that to unlock new areas to defend in the dreamscape, you have to trigger very specific flags. You have to unlock all the areas within the game's 40-day time limit, so triggering these flags is very important. The game is kind enough to tell you the flags for the next step in the process, but ONLY the next step, so if you're playing blind, you can head into the next set of flags having either already done all of them or having done none. And due to the time limit the latter is basically a forced reset. Even a tiny misclick can be a forced reset, and boy does that get frustrating when it happens a couple times in a row. There's a lot about 母爛漫 I love, but I feel like there's almost nothing left I haven't experienced but H-scenes where Isamu goes full 龍が如く2 "I'm baby" mode. I could see it being someone's favorite VN, but too much of it is not for me.
>>50726919The gameplay is what made me drop almost all of Fuurin's Alicesoft games, only one I finished was Tsumamigui 3. Heartful Maman and Haha Ranman were the worst gameplay-wise though.
The new Ryuusei World Actor was fun for the most part but a lot of plot points were really lazy. Why did no one react to the traitor reveal? After dying it's like the traitor never existed at all, literally no character cared. Ryouko's role in the story was poorly handled too, she apparently didn't collaborate with Yasaka yet she clearly spiked Ruka and Sousuke's coffee?? I don't see how else their powers got sealed in that scene, if Yasaka or some mob actually timed some power-sealing gas going off in the cafe behind the scenes then you gotta actually mention that otherwise it just seems like Ryouko is a lying bitch that got Sousuke killed and got away with everything.I could nitpick a lot more about the plot but I still enjoyed it a lot. Ruka's character development and interactions with the cast were great, it's just a shame that the romance is shoehorned in without much thought to it. Even though some things aren't very hard to figure out (there's really only one character that makes sense as the cult founder), the game still managed to keep me constantly excited for what comes next. Yasaka is a fantastic antagonist, having a powerless guy that ends up being able to win against people with superpowers through a mix of trickery and skill is really fucking cool. Aside from general character interactions, he's probably the best part of the game.
can someone explain the hate boner towards the zech dude?
>>50727004it's a meme like most other psyops you find on 4chan
>>50727004I still don't even know who it is.
Really late but I finally finished Eve Bethel.Routes>Touka > Souko > Amane > Yuri > Eve BethelHeroines> Yuri > Amane > Touka > Souko > Eve Bethel. It's really rare to see a VN that's firing on every cylinder except the writing, which is a complete and utter disaster. And the worst part is that it's a disaster with potential, there's good ideas there, they have a strong core cast of characters, but the actual plot is full of fuckup after fuckup or moments that would've been really cool in a better VN. Fomalhaut is ALMOST a great antagonist. Rockville and Halle are actually pretty decent antagonists in the Yuri and Amane routes, but both routes are extremely basic "personal drama -> fight one with respective antagonist of route, where heroine loses -> resolve personal drama -> fight two with antagonist where heroine wins", they feel really formulaic". Souko's route WASN'T formulaic, but that's because it was mostly bad. Touka's route also wasn't formulaic, but that's because it went fucking insane, but at least insane in a good way. Eve's route was the worst of all, extended flashback sequence into another extended flashback sequence and oops they're out of time for the route so now it's over, enjoy some really rushed fights where every character gets to show up and do/say exactly one thing like it's the climax of a Kiseki game. There's also a fuckton of character sprites for nothing characters who might as well not even exist, there's just so much budget used in all the wrong ways. I guess what I'm saying is that Eve Bethel is a bad VN, but it's at least a bad VN that's not boring, it's bad in an interesting way, it's a VN crushed under ambitions the writing simply could not live up to. If they ever make anything else I'm there day one, because I really do think the team could make something special, this just wasn't it. It's fucked up because you want to support a new company coming out swinging with a super ambitious multi-route chuunige, that's so rare these days, but it's just not good and not worth your time unless you're fucking desperate for chuunige and it's this or Yuzuriha. Why the FUCK did Florentine not have a route.
I'm just not enjoying Tayutama Zero at all, it's a single heroine moege and I don't like the second version of the heroine, she was so much better when she was a loli tsundere.Does the plot with the evil half-brother go anywhere? I'm seriously considering dropping the VN but I might stick around if that has a payoff.

Would you help your whore mom scrape off her customer's semen out of her vagina after work?

>>50728680I always imagine it's someone whose mother forced him to be successful in school, he grew perverted due to the imposition, so he imagined his mother in the opposite way
>>50728680japs
How do Akagoei and RWA differ? Akagoei seems humor focused while RWA is that and also a little bit of conventional story
>>50728680I actually like how the game's scenario played out. MC's mom doesn't whore herself because she likes it, she has to do it to pay off the family's debt after MC's father died. Brothel owner saw opportunity to make lucrative live incest and inbreeding show for rich patrons, then manipulate MC to accept incest with jealously and threats of possible STD from the patrons and how it'll be bad for his mom's health if MC doesn't help clear her debt as quickly as possible by having live inbreeding show for rich people. MC put a brave face and do the show with his mom until it's over and he goes home together, then cries while hugging her. It's kinda sweet, I don't expect the scenario being played this well in a what supposed to be a niche nukige, complete with some normal CGs too.
>>50728691>it's someone whose mother forced him to be successful in school, he grew perverted due to the imposition, so he imagined his mother in the opposite wayHa ha ha...
>>50728970This would be really hot if the MC was the brothel owner instead.
>>50728977There's also revenge ending where MC leaks the brothel's ledger to the public and called his dead father's friends to take advantage of the fallout to the company that backed the brothel, and MC ended up becoming the brothel's owner incesting in private with his mom while the previous owner become his whore. No pregnancy though so it's shit.

Out of curiosity, did the guy whose Eve Bethel was not loading backgrounds ever solve the issue?
>>50729149Played the PS2 version of Parfait before this one actually. Good game too, the routes for the blondie and Rikako were pretty good.Midori still tops them though. I played all routes in Parfait and only played Midori's route in Chocolat (the annoying management in the first half has some fault in it)
>>50729313What other Maruto heroine is Midori closest to?
>>50729276>rim trannyNo, thanks.
>>50729327I've only completed routes in Chocolat, Parfait and Kono Aozora Ni.I don't think there is anyone too similar. She's kind of a childhood friend, but acts like a bro/tomboy/tsundere, and there's some history between you 2 and another girl and Midori is supposed to be the third wheel. I don't wanna spoil much, but I just really like how she acts when you two start dating.Personality wise maybe the blondie from Parfait, and the main heroine from Aozora, short haired girl who's a competitive runner.
>>50729384>Personality wise maybe the blondie from Parfait, and the main heroine from Aozora, short haired girl who's a competitive runner.Oh, my least favorite girls from both games.
>310 maps in the demoyeah no, i'll wait for the complete version
>>50729386Well I liked the blondie and disliked the runner if that means anything. And probably liked Rikako's route better over the blondie (ok I'll just look up her name, it's Katori)I guess Midori is the least "violent" of those tsunderes. Those Dreamcast and PS2 versions also have different VAs that may change perception. But that's fine, everyone has their preferences, no reason for waifu wars when the game let's you decide
>>50729407I'll try Midori's route for you anon if I ever decide to play Curio. Kanako looks like she's my type.
>>50729416Lol you don't have to, it's fine. Kanako seems cool too, maybe I'll get to her route someday

>>50730637Popular religions are telling people to take care of widows exactly so they don't have to do sell themselves to lusty men and spread vices + diseases. Now that people are less religious and more individualistic, those women will unfortunately have to resort to stuff like prostitution to make ends meet. Or just abandon their children to remarry if they don't want to make sacrifice for their children.

>>50731328What do you mean not quests? Quest is the original?
>>50731335sorry i meant not rpg paradox ones. also vndb says the 2nd trilogy is a sequel but a review said it's actually a retelling?
>>50731338It's a sequel that relies on you having knowledge of the first trilogy.
>>50731328If you're very interested in monster girls as a genre of fiction, they're a must-read because they're one of the top two most influential works in the genre (the other being クロビネガー's 魔物娘図鑑, which is better in my opinion but is not a visual novel). If you like monster girls and reverse rape and are interested in reading a good story about those things, you can do a lot worse. There's more to them than appears on the surface. If you're just interested in either monster girls OR reverse rape, you might not enjoy the experience very much, because the VNs assume a strong interest in both from their audience.Basically, if the sentence "I want to be raped by a bizarre half-slug, half-woman creature" describes you, read it, and if not, feel free to skip it.
>>50731392>Basically, if the sentence "I want to be raped by a bizarre half-slug, half-woman creature" describes you, read it, and if not, feel free to skip it.what about the gameplay/exploration in paradox? i don't care about getting raped by monsters personally, but if the game is fun i don't mind
jpdb.io doesn't have majo sailing it seems.Anyone know how hard it is to read? I'm not that far into right now. Been looking up anywhere from 0-4 words per text box. Wondering if that is too much. My listening skills suck even more. Its my first VN too. It keeps me going at least.
>>50731513>Wondering if that is too much.if you can't answer that then how could we?
>>50731513I'm not familiar with Majo Sailing, but when I started reading VNs in Japanese I had to look up almost every single word and I turned out all right. As long as you're really enjoying what you're reading and having fun despite the challenge, stick with it and you'll do just fine.Your first untranslated VN will almost always be the hardest you'll ever read because there's so much to get used to all at once, so don't get discouraged.
