I still don't exactly get how Medicine's clouds feel absolutely fine, fun even, in StB, but are pure pain in PoFV. Is it the fact that you can cancel those clouds in the former? Them being obstacles for individual scenes, rather than possibly run-ending episode 7?
Is medicine's shirt gray, black, or maroon?

If you look at the PoFV it uses black, maroon(?) and some grayish tones too for highlights.So for simplifying it to just a single color you made the right choice imo.If anything the red looks more scarlet/dark.
