I remember some fanTLs that would collect reports of typos from players after the initial patch release and would use those to release an update that fixes most typos.Kinda wish some official translation companies would do that too. I can overlook a couple of typos, but when they get frequent it can start to make the release feel unpolished.

So it's extra work - usually quite a bit - for a better version nobody will read. I guess you can do it if you care, but you have to do it knowing nobody will read it.
