>Cannot be reasoned with in any capacity as opposed to most criminals that usually just want to steal your shit and will back off if they decide they can victimize someone else easier
What calibers and firearms do you carry to protect against the pitter scurge?

Shot placement?

Keep in mind you may be in situations where you have to stop a loose shit bull from tearing some bystanders face off and over penetration is an actual concern when it's lockjawed onto that poor soul.

get a nice clip-point folder if you have to. the slim point helps for stabbing PittiePrincess throats, and makes it easier to slice outwards once it's in.

Your trash ass, pit fighting dog is inherently aggressive. It will turn on you one day. It's in its DNA. Even if you say it won't, it 100% will. Most people also feel relaxed around cats. No one relaxes around shitbulls.

Not to say you aren't just baiting anyway, but I'd rather be around cats than a wild alligator-dog who would turn on you if you so much as made the wrong movement or looked at it funny.

Type 80 was never fully adopted for whatever reason, just niche roless and at some point the type 67 was abandoned without replacement.
Now just recently they introduced a new 7.62 NATO GPMG so I suppose they're warmi g to the concept
Chinese machine gun situation is crazy in general really, they have like 4 different .50 HMGs

Neat.
I'm curious if there's any relation between it and that weird 'QBZ-03' that you see cops and reservists with now and then.
Wikipedia says that the QBZ-03 'appears' to be derived from the Type 81/87 (with the 87 being a testbed design), but honestly they don't look alike at all.

It is interesting that they even looked into the concept enough to make a distinct prototype, but quickly landed at the same conclusion. Shit is just way too complicated and not worth it.

I still think Russia only ever "adopted" the AN-94 as a clever scheme to steal money while not really adopting anything. Looks impressive, sounds revolutionary, costs a fortune, money is paid up front but the new rifle never shows up and the AK-74 remains in service instead. It was the 1990s, that money never got to Izhevsk and what little did only bought a small production run.

I like your rig, easy to put on, not too deep, can easily attach hydration on the back or a backpack, all you'd really gain from the caf is an extra row of grenade size pouches on the mags and the small gp on the utility pouches. Probably not worth, maybe you could ghetto rig an extra pouch on your current setup.

They tried that. They got one hit on a hangar with about 30 ballistic missiles, and the best you could say for the other 29 is that most of them landed within the base perimeter.

I'm mostly Irish though. My family came to America during the famine. The Irish people, especially the diaspora, deserve more hate than they get. Some of the Palestinian/Libyan operations were bankrolled by wealthy Irishmen living in America. This is to say nothing about the natives that threw all that effort away in the last 30 years

That's why you need the vertical silos and shallow water. A sub's vertical silos basically ram the missile out with a mass of air.
>>64754647
Yeah, that's basically what I was going for. Unfortunately, we don't have the supertechnology for Valks.
>>
>>64754231
About when we get to 7th gen fighters & the like ... maybe? Current designs would probably be impossible to retrofit, but no telling what alien tech will be around come 22nd century. Even some kind of rudimentary "force field" (maybe with some kind of super magnetic fields) combined with a more streamline manta ray like or saucer shape would seem to put it into the realm of theoretical possibility. If people started playing with drone designs now it might even be possible in some form right now on a small scale, or perhaps a micro scale. No real need to have living pilots when drone tech is evolving so fast right now. Think in terms of something the size of a hubcap, and a sub mothership that can launch several thousand of them.
>>
>>64754231
yeah
>>
>>64754595
>counter productive because part of the value of a carrier battle group is being a big fucking stick that stands out and exerts pressure just by sitting off the coast of some country we're unhappy with. Having it be secret spoils all that.
Not necessarily. Have a surface carrier group for show & intimidation, have half a dozen subs underwater so when you do launch there's suddenly ten times more force in the air than previously imagined. Plus, subs can launch cruise missile, also, in support of all the aircraft.

A surface carrier group is vulnerable to nukes &/or MOAB. But from the burning wreckage floating on the surface suddenly a few hundred drones, planes, and missiles burst forth. Bit of a plot twist.

nigger, every ham radio boomer within your state will tattle and have an FCC agent at your door
>>
>>64755608
Only if it's somewhere that'll bother a random passersby. You could probably get away with it if the area affected is entirely on your property since it's not inherently dangerous and if someone loses a drone you can ask why they were flying a drone over your property without permission.
>>
>>64755632
yeah but you would probably be jamming yourself if you don't know enough about frequencies
>>
>>64755637
If it's a drone jammer it would only jam drone frequencies. Turn it off before flying any drones and you're golden.
>>
>>64755632
People don't need your permission to fly over your property. You don't own the airspace. The only time they might run into legal issues is if they're recording or loitering over your yard or house. Power company inspection drones fly over my property at least once per month and spend more time over my my boomer neighbor's larger lot and it pisses him off but he has contacted all manner of agency and they've all told him fuck off it's legal.

Two questions, what would be the first steps to take to join the US military as a Brit? Ours is appallingly bad in morale, funding, structure and reputation. Secondly, this might sound retarded but can you choose to join the cavalry? Air cav "We Were Soldiers" stuff, fly in rather then ride in.

Can you guys please help understand what the post-service employment landscape is like for officers who join at an older age? I posted here a while back asking if it would be a mistake to join the army as an officer at 33 as I’m working at a university and struggling to advance. I see veterans with otherwise similar backgrounds to me getting accelerated career tracks because they are veterans but they all served right after college or right before. I’m really having a hard time figuring out if I can still get the same boost at this point or if that ship has sailed for me. FWIW I’m working in research, no PhD, a lot of this stuff is DoD funded. All of the department heads and supervisors are vets. All of the super high wage high skill employees under them are vets. All the people on the path to high level university leadership from here are vets.
