It looks like they are discontinuing the 220/212 for the "harvester" which is just the 212/220 in the next gen 110 stock. One thing that's kind of odd is that the lefty bolt version is only in 20 gauge and not 12, but I'm pretty sure most people who were buying the 212/220 in the first place were in the know and were buying the 20 gauge version anyway

I think I'm starting to develop some sort of anxiety the more that I go through these. I click on some video clip that has a mundane title and find it to be an assortment of clips that include a Hellcat landing on a carrier with half a wing missing, then a combat report with a name like "No.73616 #2/76" has an account of heroism the likes I've never seen. The sheer mass of stuff thats out there waiting to be seen, hidden behind droll titles and pages of otherwise uninteresting documents, not to mention the huge quantity of stuff thats NOT uploaded. So much is there but every document or collection I pass by I wonder if I'm missing somrthing incredible

>>64767951>Army>68p X-ray TechGo for it. Can't guarantee your job in the AF. Anything non-combat medical related is super cushy. The culture smokes you a lot less, you'll be close with your coworkers, it's great. Probably better than the civilian equivalent depending on the base and unit.Really can't go wrong with Army medical it's about the same as medical in the AF.
How much free time do you actually have in the military? I've heard a lot of conflicting info.

Some days yes some days no. Like I said, really depends on what bullshit you do that day.
>>64767582Yeah normally the difference in lifetime between suppressor and barrel means p&w is eh, center fire rifle barrels usually burn out when a suppressor would barely be through a 1/5 or less it's expected life (at least in a higher precision context). Cost just doesn't work out unless someone REALLY cared (though there has been a least one effort to do better I think, that foreguard/wrap muzzle device thing that came out last year). But for a PCC that'll last ages and can run a cheap can, p&w might be worth a more serious think? Straightforward and guaranteed solution, just a question of the price being right.
>>64767593Yeah while 22lr cans should be ok with 5.7 they tend to be short given how little gas they need to handle. You might have to wait a bit for a wider variety to start dropping in price or for something aimed at 223/5.56 to get cheap. Could be a few months anyway.
>>64767582>>64767593>>64767635could probly just have any decent gunsmith who works with barrels figure out an extender thatd give you an extra inch for not much. they'll have unused bits of blank from cutting down barrels to custom lengths pick one somewhat bigger then 22bore then 1/2x28 female on one end and male on the other and p&w it all together?
>>64768309>>64767635Think I'll wait for cheaper cans anyways since those ones I linked aren't full auto rated. Certainly higher quality but relatively cheap ones will come out, and I can hold out hope that they'll be deregulated. I hate paperwork so much
>>64768383Deregulation may happen either directly (Congress) or indirectly (NFA was originally approved based on the tax aspect; MGs and DDs are still taxed but suppressors and SBRs now aren't taxed so someone will probably sue and say that the previous SCOTUS case no longer applies which is not an unreasonable argument), but it'll probably be longer than this year. But yeah waiting for the market to start to get to work in the new environment makes sense anyway, there will be a lot of experimentation, hell somebody might even just do a direct integral suppression setup you can buy that's full auto rated and everything. That said fwiw:>I hate paperwork so muchagreed, but I've done both the old fashioned paper and new efile stuff and the difference is pretty night and day. Still have to go to the trouble once in your life to get an EFT file but after that it was easy, photo I did with my phone, forms were all prefilled out for me, I made an account and put in my pin and that was it. Approved form came in email, and said that was legally the stamp so no need to carry around a paper copy at all anymore. While nothing would be even better the improvement is pretty real.

Sprinkle more hints throughout to establish that things are off. Instead they just give some very shallow imagery and a silly reveal at the end. Wasted potential, indeed.

"The French copies nobody and nobody copies the French." is what made me think of this. So say you have a small nation with competent industries to execute on original designs as need. Something like a denmark or or an estonia. This nation sometime around what would be the ww1 of a strangereal type not irl 20th centaury is a state that is on the periphery and can operate next to allied in larger conflicts. They are mentally cursed to be infinitely insistent on going for some 'other way' option on most everything when it comes to doctrines and military designs. Armoured trains, airships, Submarines that can also drive over the surface of the ocean floor and other things that just never got picked up.How much value would there be having 'stuff' that the enemy militaries would by necessity have low on their on priority lists for countering in practice?
You can't polish a turd.
>>64768166>How much value would there be having 'stuff' that the enemy militaries would by necessity have low on their on priority lists for countering in practice? If they are using things easily countered (airships especially) it would be trivial for a military to issue incendiary bullets to counter said weapon, and airships as they stand are fucking useless. Many militaries would probably work around the advantages provided by 'unconventional' sources of military strength, especially those which are expensive to counter without already having some hard counter (such as aircraft to destroy armored trains). If the country is small, advantages provided by these potentially money eating ventures would be negligible, and overall probably work against the nation rather than for it.
A large number of small modular multipurpose biplanes such as the the glorious Po-2M concept. Make them so they can be configured as small missile trucks, light cargo carriers, marine patrol, seaplanes, VIP transport, drone hunters, ambulances, ect. The Po-2 had several dozen variants most of which would be still useful to this day and something that could perform all those roles would be quite handy. As part of a larger coalition they would be great not only because everyone would find some use for them but because you could divide them up among all your allies: Everyone would see them being used and thus reminding them that you are doing your part. By making a visible contribution that attracts comment you ensure support, praise and aid not to mention ensuring a positive public image in the general populace. >Oh look, it's one of those biplanes from the Norktardistani weirdos dropping off a few of our wounded guys. I heard they stopped a Durkastani drone the other night, those guys are OK by me!
What is the highest military honor your nation can award a citizen of a foreign country?

>>64760759Yeah I agree, the AH 1Z would have been better than the T129 but, the government probably chose it for Political reasons too since we signed that massive deal with Turkey to build munitions factories in Bangladesh. The AH 1Z uses the same engines as the AW149 (and Blackhawk) too so, that combination would have had some good synergy as well. But, at the end of the day I don't mind acquiring bellow par (using that term loosely) weapons if it means we have to opportunity to create our own supply chains and manufacturing capabilities.
