>This is just a gigantic molle rectangle.
It's not a ranger rack dumbass, the mags are held behind the molle webbing. And even if it was just purely just molle webbing, you do realise molle pouches other than mag pouches exist, right? You could set it up exactly like the temu shit except it isn't dogshit quality and it's infinitely more versatile.
My advice? Learn more about gear before you waste money on some airsoft tier bullshit

Go watch from 9:29
I already have a back strap I can fashion to make it work. In the 3 cells I'm going to have 2 USGI mags, a radio and my Glock 17. Everything else like my water, food, rifle cleaning kit etc, I can keep in my backpack.
>>
>>64687005
>I'm locked into only carrying what the pouches are designed to carry.
Protip, a single mag pouch can fit a pistol. It could easily fit your dildo and anal bead collection. If you add a couple more.

Russia launches 50-100 EACH DAY and waves of 600 drones accompanied by missiles every other week. What have they resulted in so far? Absolutely nothing. These are drones are comically easy to shoot down even with smalls fire and they're extremely prone to EW

Seems to be successfully prolonging the stalemate. That's not nothing.
>>
>>64687121
Russia's terror attacks have nothing to do with the ongoing stalemate, it's not like ukraine is producing its own weapons or ammunition in any significant number. These attacks only serve to terrorise the civilian population which they have failed at
>>
>>64687119
1. Massive pain in the ass to deal with. Ukraine has an extensive layered defense for handling them and it has to be maintained since if they lapse it will result in huge losses.
2. They periodically hit something and do extensive damage.
3. Killing a trickle of people has undue economic impact that is not apparant. I remember early on some lady doctor was killed. The cost to replace her and the lost wages is around one million.
4. It scares enough Ukrainians from coming back home - depriving them of their economic input.

It's the go-to way of warfare from here on out even if it doesn't achieve strategic aims. You can be sure China is gonna drone spam Taiwan if it ever gets into a fight.

>Year 5 of China's 3 day invasion of Taiwan results in 1000 drones hitting nightly
>>
>>64687130
>4. It scares enough Ukrainians from coming back home - depriving them of their economic input.
Ukrainians abroad are far more valuable to ukraine than Ukrainians living inside ukraine. The Ukrainians living abroad can help pressure foreign governments into taking action and the money they send back is far more than they'll ever make working In ukraine

Let us list military hardware that we think is both effective and well priced.

Italian Centauro:

>1.6 million Euros (1.88 USD)
>stabilized gun
>105 rifled barrel
>or 120 smoothbore barrel
>>
>>64685733
The Centrauro is a straight upgrade on the French AMX which does not have a stabalized gun at all.
>>
>>64685733
acquisition is merely a fraction of TCO
>>
>>64685733
>>64685738
They're both beautiful and that's what matters
I guess the AMX-10RC was intended to camp rushing Soviet tanks more than anything else
>>
>>64685738
False comparison
Centauro is a dedicated TD, hits hard and fast from a stable platform

AMX is a cheap, light scout vehicle with a gun, you want it for long range patrols in Africa where logistics is a serious concern
>>
>>64685733
There is no fucking world in which a Centauro is 1.6mil euros, maybe back in 1991

Local PD and brown people cant interfere or intercept your AES256 DMR channels so just know the what and why of what you're doing on comms. Don't ever fuck with feds you are not and will never be him. If the feds want you they will have you no matter what radios or software. Back doors or EW stuff should not apply to you, I wouldn't worry about it.
>>
>>64680976
Hand helds are only work line of sight. You need an amplifier and an antenna to get range. I guess you can sit on a hill to go farther.

Gmrs may be better for you if you only want to talk local. Plus you can listen in on truckers while you drive. No test and only 35bux for a license.

Every internet connection including the phn in your pocket is "spying" on you. You are not a 'Man of Mystery' and nobody really cares what you say or think, so get over yourself. That goes double for any Baofeng users.

Ah I see you too are a connoisseur of me ebin /r/NCD reddit maymays about me China. To coherently claim that the 191 keyholes because of some vague nonsense about "muh corruption" (how the fuck are you supposed to embezzle money by not properly rifling barrels?) Or "muh chineisum, quick question, where was the electornic device you're using made?) You have to hold the position that the Chinese were perfectly capable of rifling the barrels of All three Type 56's (SKS, AK, RPD), Type 81's, QBZ-95's and all th variants thereof, QZB-03's, all their machineguns and handguns but were suddenly magically unable to press the "rifle the barrel" button on the rifling machine since 2019 because the universe struck them all retarded.
What's more likely
1. Rubber bullet training ammo used for CQB practice keyholes
2. The Chinese are not able to incorporate a firearms feature that has been practiced for centuries and were perfectly always to do before 2019

Even the most jingoistic retard has to admit they're being retarded about this.

You've upset me with your semantic arguments and autistic knowledge.

Because at sea level there's no difference between the bolt designs, the soviet ones are easier to manufacture and have a longer theoretical service life- but are more prone to critical failure. At sea level, it's a non issue.

But in the Himalayas there are specific issues with temperature differential on the larger AK style lugs at the adjusted high altitude operating pressure. The AKs can be slammed into battery when they really shouldn't, and will suffer a non-trivial rate of failure.

It's only a few thousands of an inch, but it's a consistent issue with the AK bolts. Tolerances are too loose, beefy steel parts shrink, you're working with adjusted gas pressures, operators smash them into battery when they're full of frozen sandgrit, you get a non trivial rate of OOB.

So in the technical discussion about locking lugs, that's the only context i think it's relevant and that's my experience.

My great grandfather was a decorated officer in the US Airforce during the Korean War. My great uncle has a display case with his medals, and his service rifle, which is a select fire M2 Carbine. I haven't inspected it closely, so idk if it's functional or demilitarized. If it is functional idk if it registered or transferable.

Has anyone heard of a scenario like this before? I can't find any examples online of an officer being given an M2 when they retired. I'm also certain that it is an M2, not an M1 Carbine.

My great uncle plans to give me his guns, including that one at some point in the near future. Obviously I hope it's transferable, but I think that could only be the case if it was registered when he retired. I doubt that he submitted any paperwork for it later in his life, and I know that my great uncle never did.

Any thoughts or advice?

The only diesel truck in 2025 that isn't a colossal piece of shit is RAM.
Ford has a multitude of electrical issues, GMC has all sorts of problems with their motors, electrical and drivetrain in general, Chevy has roughly the same problems.
Never like Ram/Dodge trucks but if I had to buy a new one thats the only brand I'd go with.

Still reeling from the sheer retardation of the Battleship proposal, plus that it'll be replacing the DDG(X) project.

But the FF(X) looks good. It won't have VLS in it's first flight, but it'll have an established supply chain and available logistics for repair and maintenance. As long as they don't try to make more capable than it needs to be, i think it'll be a good boat.
