I sold all of my entry-level junk AR builds and decided to instead build two high quality rifles - one 11.5 and a RECCE style build. I have parts selected for the latter but I'm not sure how I should build my first SBR - all I know is I like GWOT influenced stuff, KAC RAS and that this will also be a dedicated suppressor host - I'm indifferent to clooooner correct stuff. I watched Civil War yesterday. Thought it was pretty decent all things considered. Couple of the characterization scenes in the beginning dragged a bit, they wasted a lot of time trying to make Mary Jane seem like a real person. Few of the scenes went pretty hard (you just have to pretend everyone in the movie is wearing comtacs) and the sound mixing was pretty good. Idk if my theater just had the volume cranked up but it sounded like a proper war movie. The DC run at the end was pretty sick MWII vibes, even if there was of course a strong black wimyn of color stapled to every scene but that's every movie. The "are you retarded" scene was pretty funny. Kind of a cop out that they didn't go into more background detail for the conflict but it worked with the format. Idk how well it will age overall but it was a fun watch. Also Ron Swanson was in it for literally 5 seconds, they probably could have elaborated on his backstory a bit and made the trip to DC plot a bit more compelling to the story.
