Is it time for Austria move on?
Also how the hell did it become Ireland's standard infantry rifle
>>
>>61481273
No. AUG is a great gun. Literally no reason to change unless your military is getting cheap ARs handed to them for free.
>>
They just need to modernize it, maybe adopt Black Rain's
>>
Bullpup good.

They are pretty neat, the adtermarket is finally starting to catch up and there are a bunch good of 3d printable mods available now as well
>>
Didn't Australia also have this as their standard service rifle too
>>
>>61481541
you could have googled this you lazy fuck
>>
>>61481273
No, Austria doesn't do anything that would require cutting edge rifles, their most significant military deployment of the last two decades is tourism in Kosovo. And even if they did, there's nothing really wrong with it. Give it an optics rail and its good for another 30 years.

Still do, New Zealand switched to LMT AR15's and instantly had problems with reliability and parts breakage.

>Is it time for Austria move on?
Why would they move on from perfection?
>>
>>61481575
There were a handful of cases of cracking OEM firing pins and LMT replaced all of them to be safe. Hardly a significant problem, but it was reported in the media as if the guns were all exploding.

Asking a banal question you already know the answer to isn't discussion, its a cry for help from the chronically lonely. If you want a friendship simulator, pay a twitch thot to read out your superchat.

They could nationalize the companies industry at any time, it's not like the factories left countries.
