The omnidirectional jammer is stupid too (except for COIN) because you don't want a RF beacon near anything valuable. Most drones are continuously transmitting at 2.4/5.8, each one with a very characteristic signal, you could detect and triangulate them from +10 km but right now there's nothing integrated to do it. Adding bloat is wasting time and diverting attention to something that is missing and is not being resolved with those "patches".
