I like the Gen 2 the most, but the Gen 3 was when rails got introduced.
>>61936854 Gen 5 is best
5 3bh
1 and 2 for aesthetics5 and 3 for function 4 is the red headed step child 5 without front slide serrations are my favorite
With any gun, "best" depends on the user, but I'm going to go with Gen 3. Glocks should have finger grooves and the people with weird hands who don't like them should be forced to buy Sig shit.

>>61936854gen4 best lookingslimmer grip than g32 pins for +strengthno cuck mag cutoutambi controls (that matter) g4>g5(early)>g1>g2>g5>g3

>>61936854gen 3, then gen 5
should i buy a new gen 3 19? apparently i can get one shipped to my local cabela'si think it's a 10-round cuck version (even though i don't live in a cuck state) but surely i could just buy some normal mags, right?it's the same price as the gen 5 but i think the gen 5 is ugly
>>61936854I got a gen 4, then I heard Glock was ceasing gen 4 production, so I chose to standardize on gen 5 g17s and bought a pair of them, and then 8-12 months later the gen 3 clones broke through from fringe to mainstream and are being manufactured by dozens of companies. IMHO gen 5 is probably the best glock brand glock, but if you want to look at the gun as a "platform" and/or be as apocalypse-ready as possible, get a factory gen 3 and then get as many replacement/upgrade/spare parts from the after market as you want.
>>61937124gen 3 19 is the most reliable and standard handgun in the world
>>61936854>railsgross
I wish I could have a Gen 3 Glock for aesthetics but with the Gen 5 trigger. Front serrations and the rounded muzzle are uggot. bought G19 Gen 5 as first handgun years ago, about to sell it because I don't shoot it
>>61936854Gen 4 with no backstrap. I love the texturing over the previous gens and actually prefer the finger grooves that went away on the G5s.>Have a G2 17, G3 30SF, G4 19
Gen 4, but that's likely because it was the latest when I turned 21
>>61936854I love the 5 gen, happy they deleted the grooves. I got a 35.5 and 20.5
>>619368545 for function, but i love fondling my gen 1 reissue and thinking to myself>this is a glock 7, it's a porcelain gun made in german and it doesn't show up on x-ray scanners and it costs more than (You) make it in a month
>>61936854I like the 19 without grooves, but the gen2 is too slippery and no rail, so Gen5 19 is my fav, but I unironically love the finger grooves on the 17, so I prefer the gen4 17Gen 5 is overall the best, although some of the newer ones have a ridiculous, fatal flaw of being easily pushed out of battery due to how the slide/frame is up front, the slide extending past the frame such as the 47/48. The older/current "standard" glocks have more resistance to this due to the frame being even with the slide.
>>61936879I bought a Gen 5 not really expecting to like it more than Gen 4 (I have 3 too) but it really is the best. I did Dremel off part of the ambi safety bc I don’t like the extra protrusion
>>61936854I love em all. Cant wait for Gen 6
Gen 5. 1-4 are ugly as sin. Finally, after 5 generations, Glock makes a gun that is pleasant to look at it. Plus I like the forward slide serrations and holstering cut on the front of the slide.
>>61938439
>>61938631>1-4 are ugly as sinShit taste. Gen 2 Glock 19 was peak.
