If your carry piece has a capacity that less than TWO digits you're NGMI.

Most defense shootings are resolved in 1-2 rounds, 5 tops. Revolvers have had zero issues doing the job for over 150 years.

If you're one of those guys who says this you're retarded. If you're one of those guys who says "just use a revolver bro less that five shots blah blah blah" you're retarded. There is no one set option for carry (excluding those that are obviously genuinely retarded). If you want to carry a compact with double mcdigit round counts then sure. You want to carry a 1911? Sure. Wanna carry a revolver with 5-6 shots? Sure. Just know with everything said here that you need to be comfortable with it to train/practice with it in order to carry it with confidence as that's all that matters.

Every modern gun shaves the followers of the mags so low that they're overstuffed if yoi actually load them to the advertised capacity. Your p365 has an 8 round mag, whatever it's advertised at subtract by 2. All these malfunctions new guns are having are mostly because retards with no real experience are loading the mags to overcapacity.
>>
>>61964629

80/20 rule bullshit. Imagine being in the 20% of shootouts that actually take >5 shots or are >10 yards away with snub .38 or an LCP. It's really not that hard to carry something the size of a Glock 19.

what kind of delusional life do you lead where you think you need to carry 150 9mm rounds because you're afraid of niggers?

if you really did lead a dangerous life you wouldn't be this retarded, you'd either know what you need already, or you'd be dead, because you're a dumb niggerfaggot

You wanna prioritize capacity for that .01% probability encounter? Go ahead. I prioritize the reliability of my first 6 shots for 100% of encounters. Everything in life is trade-offs and each man must make his own choices based on his needs/situation.
>>
>>61966857
ikr if you're that worried just carry a reload nigga. and I have no idea where he got those numbers from, probably some study of police shootings. I know that guy from Memphis did one and it was single digits the shootings that took place beyond 5 yards and literally only a couple that fired more than 10 rounds (I forget the percentage that took over 5, but it was small).
>>
>>61963931

>reload
Active Self Protection's John talks about how often he sees a private citizen need a reload in the 40k+ defensive uses he's watched (spoiler, it's zero times) and does a little math to rationalize why he personally feels a reload isn't worth carrying.

>>61969011
yes but your specific situation may not be accurately represented by his data set. I'm referring to edge cases here, or at least people who feel like they're an edge case.
>>
>>61969246
>people who feel like they're an edge case.
There are some people who genuinely are like that jewelry store guy who got targeted by a gang and had several shootouts with them. Most people are larping faggots who shop more than they shoot though and think they can buy competence.
>>
>>61969011
I always carry a reload, but it's for topping off rather than thinking I need to reload mid gunfight. There was a case in my town where Guy 1 shot Guy 2 in self defense, and Guy 2's brother ran home to get a gun and then came back to shoot at Guy 1 while he was waiting for the police to show up. I know it's an uncommon scenario, but I always carry a reload, it doesn't matter if I'm carrying 5 rounds or 15.

Yeah lot of guys who carry revolvers carry a reload so they aren't disarmed AFTER a fight. I just carry another revolver.

Here's a link to the story, which is one more piece of evidence than can ever be produced by anyone who says that 5 rounds isn't enough for self defense.
>>
>>61963931

30+ years of hearing gunfire in my neighborhood. 95% of the time it's less than 5 shots. Usually 1-3.
>>
>>61969393
I could see it as more of an emergency thing in case your mag falls out or you have to ditch it because of a malfunction. But that's a stretch
>>
>>61969530
If you carry an autolaoder carrying a spare mag is almost a requirement because mags are such a huge point of failure and remediating some malfunctions it's just faster to slot a new mag.

Look into dead internet theory. Everything you see online may be a heavily curated, bot-only, personalized interaction designed to maximize your emotional and intellectual investment. Everything you say, think, or do is monitored and target info and ads are presented to ypu
Keeps you from thinking new thoughts, keeps you in a loop. Hell, at this point, I think I might be one of the bots.
>>
>>61970353
I'm real, don't care about you roboniggers
>>
>>61964629
There is no one set option, but there are set ideals. Capacity is king. Magazines are easier to reload with and carry than revolver cylinders. Firepower kills. Otherwise you gimp yourself no matter how comfy you are with it, because familiarity can be built. But a gun is only as good as it is designed and some designs suck.
>>
>>61969011
No one needs x until they do. With X being anything potentially lifesaving like a seatbelt, life jacket, fire extinguisher. Oh, and a gun or reloads. I don't care what some lardass with a shitty haircut has to say, I don't want to be the first guy caught lacking on camera
>>
>>61970353
The fact that facebooks cookies are fucked up and it keeps trying to sell me appliance parts because I looked them up for a customer is proof that whatever system they have for targeted ads isnt smart enough or sophisticated enough to do what your saying.. basically if it was the internet would be a more useful experience.
>>
>>61967528
I can train to clear malfunctions. You cant train to make your six-shooter shoot more than 6 shots.
>>
>61968823
If your ass has a capacity of more than 0 cocks, you live in a country without guns. Or are European, but I repeat myself
>>
>>61965097
If the mag says it holds 10, I'm gonna load 10. In every gun I've ever owned, this has been the case with no malfunctions.

This some Vietnam draftee "the M16 jams if load the mag to 20, so load it to 16" style fuddlore

>Your p365 has an 8 round mag, whatever it's advertised at subtract by 2.

(you) literally have no idea what you are talking about.
I've had my P365 for 6 years and every time I've loaded the mag it was to its capacity of TEN rounds and I have never had one issue in the 10's of 1000's of rounds I've shot.
NOT. ONE.

A Glock 19 is essentially half an inch away from being the same size as a Glock 17 full size. G19 isn't that hard to conceal if you wear baggy oversized clothing, but anything form fitting for people that aren't the right body shape or size have issues.

A Glock 48 is a good choice for concealed carry for your average person though.
