So /k/ looking for a carbine kit that is similar to SIG P320 flux raider but for glock 17. Any suggestions? No I do not want CCA roni kit.

I have both the B&T USW-G chassis and a recover tactical 20/20 and both have their pros and cons. Biggest con on the USW-G is that there's some play with the chassis so idk if it holds zero, seems to for now though. Biggest pro is that you don't need to disassemble the whole thing to take the slide off for cleaning. If you wanna slap a glock 19 in it and want it suppressed, you'll need an extended booster for the suppressor too, but a glock 17 won't have this issue. The stock it comes with is total fucking ass, but you can buy an A3 tactical brace for it (the length of pull is way shorter though). Problems with the recover is that you'll need to take the glock out of it for cleaning, so you need to rezero your optic (unless you're mounting the optic directly on the slide ofc), and the optic mount is a separate purchase. It's also plastic but there's no play and it feels pretty solid. Keep in mind that the B&T is like $500 bucks or something and it's always out of stock, and the recover is around $100.
>>
>>62124251
>300-400 for a p320
>500 for the lower

even the way more expensive p365 brace still ends up being about as much as an MPX or GHM9
>>
>>62126280
Has b&t ever made a single good product? They seem to be the shittier version of h&k yet they charge the same prices.
>>
>>62126324
HK is already overpriced too
>>
>>62126324
Yeah, I really like their mp5k folding stock. That's about it.
>>
>>62126324
they make a lot of niche accessories and their guns are pretty good. you are definitely paying a 'made by $30/hr minimum wage hands' markup.
>>
>>62124251
If people want these because of restrictive laws or because they just think they're cool, fine. But outside of that the price of these things just makes them outlandish novelties.
>>
>>62126348
Eh, I have both a sp5k and a flux raider, and I much prefer the flux raider as a pdw. It's lighter, smaller, and has better ergonomics imo.
>>
>>62126326
>Look it up
>300 bucks for a polymer folding stock
>600 for the telescopic one
Lmao, wtf.
>>
>>62126348
the flux raider has the same barrel length as most 'proper' PCCs and has very similar recoil all while being half the weight and 25% smaller. its coming to the point where theres no reason to buy small blowback PCCs when the flux exists (outside of 'fun' and 'i like it')
>>
>>62126379
I-It's okay... I got it for 260 bucks...!
>>
>>62126381
It's true, I really need to sell my dogshit kp9 soon
>>
>>62126381
I think the only thing PCCs have going for them over the flux is that they're better for suppression.
>>
>>62126404
Idk about the flux, but my glock 19 + usw-g chassis is the gassiest piece of shit ever. I might unironically have cancer now.
>>
>>62126412
then again I supposed it's not gassy, it's just really fucking close to my face
>>
God I love PCC/PDWs

Ronis are meme tier but I did end up buying CAA's (overpriced but very much welcome) titan charging handle which does work with the recover tactical chassis. Stay away from their cheaper charging handles, they're polymer. Probably functional but egh, doesn't make me feel good.

>>62126280
I got the recover tactical 20/80 and it's been a surprisingly good little chassis. IMO a pistol mounted optic is too low to be used practically, you basically need the top rail.
One thing I do wish was changed is the little weird hole right under the barrel. I'd rather have rails higher up so that if you fit a vertical grip it's on the same level as your pistol grip. If they sold a hybrid flashlight/vertical grip mag holder I'd probably get that.
A charging handle, optic, and extended mag release are necessary accessories.
Also please excuse the shit tier poorfag attachments, I got them for free from Amazon and this is bit if a trash/spare parts build right now. Though if I'm being honest they're probably perfectly acceptable for a 9mm PCC.

Yeah, anon, I'm sure you shoot with your nods all the time and do really cool trigger puller network goon shit with your homies in between taking daytime selfies with them on in front of your lifted Ford F-350 with punisher skull stickers on it. You are a big boy and very cool.
>>
>>62129904
What rear charging handle is that? I need to get something for my 20/80

This. In terms of actual PDWs you can’t beat the size of the flux raider plus it can be thrown into other chassis’s if needed

also just to let you know this website is rather generous with coupons and free shipping. Ignore the fomo counter up top they always have free shipping. I left the part in my cart and randomly got a $10 off coupon and it was usable on top of everything else. Certainly the cheapest place to get it if you're smart about it
>>
>>62126362
what do you do with your pdw?

I'm glad the Flux shills are making their own threads and not invading /hg/

the chassis is just big enough that the changing handle doesn't hit the back of it during shooting
I don't like recover tactical's charging handle, it only works with oem glock slides by sliding over the serrations, the metal ones that replace the backplate are much better.
>>
>>62130721
the ghm9 is pretty sweet tho. i scoffed at B&T's buffered blowback but its on par with the MPX for smoothness, without all the janky accuracy problems

Just buy a TP9

Then just use the gb20 glass breaker for a steel mount instead.

thinking about getting a micro roni for my glock 17.
what is wrong with it?
>>
>>62135804
It should use the euro looped stock the cops use so I can passive aim
>>
>>62136355
doesn't hold zero at all, especially when you have to take the glock out of the chassis every time you want to clean the gun
>>
>>62136355
I personally don't like how you're stuck with a bulky plastic box the size of some purpose built PCCs but is ultimately just a handgun in a plastic shell. They do look cool and are functional but for a regular Glock 17 there are better options out there. If you didn't already have a Glock 17 then you'd have to get a roni because they make models for basically every popular handgun out there.
Ultimately get it if you think it looks cool, most pistol chassis are novelties anyways.
>>
>>62130755
Not him, but thanks for posting this. I just bought one.

You mean... the Flux kit, for the glock?

Truly the chaddest of guns

I know it's retarded to put a 16in barrel on a tilting barrel gun but I kinda want one just to do a joker and pull out a ridiculously long gun from my cc holster.

should I do it bros? Should I spend 300 dollars on a b&t folding stock for my sp5k?

>>

The strike one is weird.
>Can't fit light and mag holder unless I buy more shit and mod it.

Strike 80 makes a "holster" for raider that allows suppressors. It's like a QD to your hip basically. No actual holster. Works really really well actually feels great only downside is nothing coving trigger.

Thoughts on csv-9? I tried to finally add one to my collection only to see they're sold out every where. Takes glock mags

That's not true at all, the APC9K has a barrel above 5 inches the TP9 also has 5.4 inch barrel, even the MP5K gas almost 5 inches of barrel, and all offer greater capabilities as PDWs than the overpriced ronin kit, like proper picatini for optic mounting, better recoil control and quality control
>>
>>62126389
I'll take it
