The SOLGW M89 is mechanically sound and it has a Geissele 12.5 taper barrel that is extremely accurate. I was able to shoot 2 1moa 10 shot groups with this on Sunday using the 77gr AAC smk. They were the tightest groups I've ever shot with AAC ammo and desu this gun is more accurate than my Criterion 16" CORE. I'm amazed by it. It's also gassed perfectly but the OCL Polo K is super high back pressure which is why I got the HRT.

The RIS2 looks cool but that's really all that Brownell's upper has going for it.you guys should run your fucking guns and figure out what works instead of listening to A2 all the time. KAC is great if you want to be stuck with a bunch of proprietary parts that require specialized tools and offer only marginal benefits over standard milspec AR15s. There might be a reason why SOCOM/JSOC never adopted the SR15/Sr16. Its definitely not worth the price they go for on the commercial market. If you're concerned about your standard bolt failing you could get 3 BCM bolts for the price of 1 KAC bolt IF YOU CAN EVEN FIND IT.

I like the flexibility. I'm an LPVO enjoyer though. Some people hate them but I think they're a good option for a 5.56 gun. I particularly like the PLX-C. The 1x is very usable but it offers up to 8x with a good reticle(although it is a little busy, they could clean it up a bit, mine is the acss griffin mil). I often times keep the LPVO on 2-3x and run the red dot for targets within 50m. For me a red dot is always faster since there is no eyebox/eye relief consideration for the dot. I tried this setup with my RMR RM06 first but the 507c clears the erector housing better so I settled on it. So far I haven't had any issues with Holosun, I've actually had that 507c for a long time. It used to live on a pistol but I replaced it with an SRO. Now I just have an extra RMR and I gotta figure out what to do with it. I may just put it on my G17 or something idk.
