I bought a set of leapers "accu-sync" 45-degree flip-up sights. Conclusion: get sturdier back-up sights than this if you can afford it and they fit on your rifle. If you're stuck with 45 degree due to not being willing to remove an optic, maybe MBUS pros or Troy. If you can have all your sights up top, just use standard A2 style sights if you have the room.They're kind of flimsy in terms of repeatability. Yes, out of box they seem like they'll reliably detent close enough to the same "up" position every time, but there's places for grit to accumulate that will eventually get in the way of that. Further, there's a "posi-lock" plunger that's supposed to lock the towers in the up position. With enough grit in the mechanism, this plunger will not be adequate for this task. All it does is prevent the towers from going back over the detent to the "down" side, and there's enough slop that the towers could conceivably get knocked back by a barricade and stuck at half-mast if there's sand in the hinge.Maybe they're good enough to do work out to 100, and maybe they're imprecise in ways that don't really affect POI that much, but I think you'd have to baby them to get repeatable performance out of them.
