What tank come to mind when you hear the word "tank"?T-55 is the "tank" for me.
>>62505755I feel like we're influenced by playing with army men as kids.
M4 sherman, which funnily enough would stand a better chance NOT running over children in the drivers blind spot in a suburban driveway, than the typical suv
M60.
>>62505781Same, the m48 is the tankiest tank
Always either a t-55 or m-48 lol. Occasionally Tiger 1

Panzer IV
>>62505755t-55 with m48's muzzle break
>>62505755Tiger 2 or Sherman
>>62505755Pretty much anything in the Patton family. M48, M60, M247 or even the M103. One of the first tanks I ever saw up close was the M103A2 and that stuck with me. I still really think they should have gone ahead with the M103A3 upgrade instead of abandoning the platform. Would have made it an American Chieftain.
everything was a t-55 or a Patton to me growing up.
>>62505781>>62505755definitely one of these two or a weird fusion, a rounded turret just feels correct

>>62505781>tfw you know what a mortar is when you are 8 because the army men had a guy loading a mortarnever forget that one army man who raises his rifle over his head like a tusken raider
>>62506167>plastic toys are made via injection molding>a mold is filled with liquid to form the right shapesounds like casting comes naturally to the army men
>>62505755T-72.
This is a very tanky tankIt's boxy, has a big gun, and has big tracks
>>62505755
>>62505755Has to be the Centurion. It's a big box on tracks, with a big gun and a big box turret right in the centre. The sloped UFP also adds to the "tank" look IMO. It's what we all drew as a kid when we drew a tank.
>>62506854This is more of a Jagdpanzer than a tank.
>>62505755Sherman
>>62506865also never forget crouching bazooka guy

>>62505755Chieftain, i saw one when i was 8 and thats the default tank for me.
>>62505755The Leo 1, I remember vividly of the time when I had to go to my mom's dancing classes after school because she didn't want my retarded 6 year old alone at home. I would brink my army man with me and my leo toy and play out battles in the corner of the dancing floor for hours to no end.
>>62506865My favorite was the .50 gunner, that bastard was the bane of any infantry assaults, always hidden ready to catch anyone who crosses the first line of sand bags.

>>62512202Nah, that was an officer enforcing morale.
>>62505755Abrams, particularly as deployed in Iraq, is what comes to mind first. It would have been Sherman previously, from WWII movies like BoB, but the lower stealthy pose of the M1 as a contrast had a big impression on me.https://youtu.be/R6ox-ANgCIk
Highly tank-shaped.
>>62516687turns into an APC if you take the turret off
Panzer IV because its silhouette is probably the most easily recognized as a tank. Just like how when normies say jets and think of an F-16
most iconic toy tonk?what cought most of my attention as 5 year old from my dads roco minitanks collection was the king tiger. tonk, tonkier, tonkiest.

>>62505755Other than the Patton series, the tank of The Last Crusade. IIRC it's the first time I saw a tank in a movie or shit like that. Other than that it's the Italian tanks from the movie Lion of the Desert and the Panzer IVs in MOH Frontline
