I'm an adult male who's genuinely 4'10 and I'm a bit worried if I get into guns nothing will fit me, I've been able to shoulder shotguns and take the recoil just fine before but think everything else might be a bit too long for my reach. Are my only options pistols and SBRs for rifles?

>>62508770If you're doing PRS you'll most be shooting prone and your height is effectively irrelevant. You might also try out various bullpups and see how they fit you. If you have the physical strength though I don't think you'll have any significant issue in guns. And if you compare yourself to the general pop the bar is not high, the vast majority of people are terrible and barely practice in the slightest. If you do more then a single outing every 6 months congratulations you're in like the top 10-25% of gun owners.

The majority of benefit of being tall is biomechanical lever points, short people (especially dwarves) will have less range in creating natural pivots to absorb recoil for long rifles. As a result try to avoid barrel length in excess of your arm's length. If there is a particular weapon you want then get a bullpup version of it. Ordinary exercise and training associated with firearm ownership should be adequate to handle anything you can purchase.
