There would be 3 main areas where living weapons would make some sense:1. A cheap ground drone. Only works if the living weapon is much cheaper than a good ground drone.2. An ewar resistant smart munition. Only works if the living weapon is cheaper and/or smarter than an equivalent smart munition.3. A soldier that the average voter doesn't give a fuck about who can die in place of a voter's son. Only works if the living weapon can outright replace soldiers in some dangerous roles, and it requires that voters not be the slightest bit sympathetic when these fake soldiers get blown to bits.

Using animals as weapons of war is fucking retarded now. You can just shoot them from 300m away. The only use for animals is transportation, sniffing out bombs and munitions, and to eat.
